The result of a measurement is an approximation of the true value of the measurand and is complete when it is accompanied by its uncertainty. Building acoustics requires an assessment of the uncertainties that is understandable and corresponds closely to reality. The new standard ISO 12999-1 gives general uncertainty values for typical sound insulation measurements. The objective of this work is to determine the most accurate method for evaluating the uncertainty of in situ façade sound insulation measurements for both the Dls,2m,nT values in one-third octave bands and the global magnitude Dls,2m,nT,w. We establish a comparative analysis between the uncertainty values proposed by the standard ISO 12999-1, the uncertainty values deduced from interlaboratory activities and the average uncertainties deduced from individual calculations for each in situ measurement. The comparison is based on uncertainty calculations for around 1000 in situ façade sound insulation measurements made by our laboratory. The uncertainties given by the standard ISO 12999-1 for Dls,2m,nT in one-third octave bands are, at low and high frequencies, higher than the values deduced from individual calculations and smaller than the calculated values at mid frequencies. We believe that for Dls,2m,nT, it is advisable wherever possible to make individual uncertainty calculations for each in situ façade measurement. Nevertheless, the comparison with ISO 12999-1 points to the suitability of including some uncertainty components in the calculation, such as the related to the measurement procedure or source directivity, which are not normally considered in the uncertainty evaluation. Although we have clearly endorsed the use of individual calculations to determine the uncertainty of the sound insulation magnitude in one-third octave bands, we believe the uncertainty proposed by standard ISO 12999-1 could be a more realistic and reasonable approximation for the global magnitude Dls,2m,nT,w. Therefore if an individual calculation of the uncertainty of the global magnitude is required the Monte Carlo simulation has been shown to be a good method.  相似文献

Common nonlinear optical (NLO) crystals consist of traditional functional building blocks with inherent optical limitation. Herein, inspired by traditional (B3O6)3− inorganic building block, we theoretically identified a new type of organic functional building blocks and then successfully synthesized the first cyamelurate NLO crystal, Ba(H2C6N7O3)2 ⋅ 8 H2O. To our surprise, the constituent (H2C6N7O3) building block is not in structurally optimal arrangement, but Ba(H2C6N7O3)2 ⋅ 8 H2O exhibits excellent optical properties including wide band gap of 4.10 eV, very large birefringence of 0.24@550 nm, and exceptionally strong second-harmonic generation (SHG) response of about 12×KH2PO4. Both the SHG response and birefringence are much larger than those of commercial NLO crystal β-BaB2O4 with optimally aligned (B3O6)3− building block. Theoretical calculations suggest that the expanded π-conjugation delocalization within (H2C6N7O3) vs (B3O6)3− should be responsible to the enhanced performance. This work implies that there is still much room to develop new NLO crystals with excellent functional building blocks that may be longly neglected.  相似文献

The present paper presents acoustic and thermal performance evaluations carried out in low-cost houses located at the Vila Tecnológica de Curitiba (Technological Village of Curitiba), in Curitiba, Brazil. Two dwellings were evaluated, which were built according to different building systems: (1) the building system Batistella, built with pre-fabricated modules and elements, composed of reforestation wood and (2) the building system Constroyer, composed of expanded polystyrene (EPS) plates, framed in a welded iron mesh, with structural plastering. For the thermal performance evaluation, it was verified that the materials used in the envelope were quite significant for controlling heat gains and losses through the building elements as well as for regulating heat storage. In this case, the system with highest thermal inertia presented better results. Results showed that both building systems had poor acoustic performance, characterized by a low weighted apparent sound reduction index of the façade dB. The German DIN 4109 Norm recommends a minimum of dB. The weighted apparent sound reduction index measured for internal walls was dB and dB, for the building systems Battistela and Constroyer, respectively. The minimum required by German regulation VDI 4100 is dB, for internal walls.  相似文献

An efficient route towards the synthesis of 2,5-diamino-2,5-dideoxy-1,4-3,6-dianhydroiditol 4 has been developed resulting in significant improvements in both isolated yields and purity when compared to literature procedures. As a consequence, resin-grade 2,5-diamino-2,5-dideoxy-1,4-3,6-dianhydroiditol 4 has become available for laboratory scale step-growth polymer synthesis. Additionally, an interesting renewable chiral 2-amino-2-deoxy-1,4-3,6-dianhydroiditol 10, has been isolated.  相似文献

Four novel organic–inorganic hybrid arsenic-vanadate complexes, [Cu(phen)][(AsVO4)(VV 3O7)(H2O)] (1), [Cu(en)2]2[As8V14O42(H2O)]?·?2.5H2O (2), [M(1,10-phen)3]2[As8V14O42(H2O)0.5]?·?0.5H2O (M?=?Mn, 3, Cd, 4) (1,10-phen?=?1,10-phenanthroline) have been hydrothermally synthesized for the first time and characterized by elemental analyses, XPS spectra, EPR spectra, IR spectra, TG analyses and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of compound 1 consists of arsenic vanadate ribbons coordinated by the [Cu(phen)]2+ complex, while compounds 2 to 4 possess a spherical [As8 IIIV14 IVO42]4? cage with H2O molecules encapsulated. The unexpected preparation 1 and the synthesis of compounds 2 to 4 on the basis of same polyoxoanion structures show that the pH value of the reaction plays a crucial role in controlling the basic architectures.  相似文献

Abstract: In last two decades, rapid development in the field of terahertz (THz) technology has opened new possibilities for creating innovative imaging and sensing systems. Although the applications of THz technology in different sectors constantly increase, the construction industry lags behind them. The aim of this article is to review the current applications of THz spectroscopy in research and industry related to construction and building materials, along with the key drawbacks of technology and recommendations for future use. The review concludes that THz spectroscopy and imaging have promising potential and provide many opportunities for applications in construction and building materials characterization.  相似文献
