Diffractive optical elements have an important role to play in the provision of process adapted beam shaping for laser-materials processing applications. The design techniques and dominant methods of fabrication are described for intra-cavity and external beam shaping diffractive elements fabricated in a variety of dielectric and metallic materials for use with a wide range of laser sources. The epithermal beamline at the Portuguese Research Reactor is being optimized for Prompt Gamma Neutron Activation Analysis (PGNAA). One of the major changes is to thermalise the beam by the introduction of a sapphire crystal into the beamline. Placing the sapphire at the exit of the beamline would greatly reduce the alterations and work necessary to the port and make the crystal easily removable. However, the scattered neutrons from the sapphire would increase both the neutron-induced detector damage and the background radiation. MCNPX was used to simulate the crystal in the beam port and at the exit of the port.  相似文献

随着社会经济的发展和可耕土地的日益紧张,我国在丘陵及半山区地带的房屋建设取得了很大的成就,也投入了大批的资金。而六十年代建设在丘陵及半山区的大批企事业单位的房屋,由于受地质条件、气候条件以及当时技术水平和条件的限制,其中许多已成危房。若对这些危房进行维修、加固以及适当的改造和装饰,让其重新恢复使用,将会为国家节约大批投资,具有明显的经济效益和社会效益。本文结合工程实际对丘陵及半山区地带的危房成因进行了分析,并在工程中采取了相应的技术加固措施。  相似文献

Based on the vectorial Rayleigh–Sommerfeld integrals, the analytical propagation expression of a vectorial Laguerre–Gaussian beam beyond paraxial approximation is presented. The far field expression and the scalar paraxial result are obtained as special cases of the general formulae. According to the analytical representation, the light intensity distribution of the vectorial Laguerre–Gaussian beam is depicted in the reference plane. The light intensity distribution of a vectorial Laguerre–Gaussian beam with cos m is also compared with that of a vectorial Laguerre–Gaussian beam with sin m.  相似文献

Optics has an important role in logic implementation and computation is established in two and half decades by many researchers. Recently frequency encoding technique is established. This technique does not suffer from intensity dependent loss problems like other schemes. Amorphous dielectric thin films with reflecting edges can also be used for logic realization and has very fast response speed. It also does not use any semiconductor device and simple to construct. In this communication the authors have proposed all optical CNOT gate using frequency encoded difference frequency generation exploiting nonlinear response of some material and implementation of binary adders by CNOT gate and dielectric thin film AND gate.  相似文献

Beam search (BS) is used as a heuristic to solve various combinatorial optimization problems, ranging from scheduling to assembly line balancing. In this paper, we develop a backtracking and an exchange-of-information (EOI) procedure to enhance the traditional beam search method. The backtracking enables us to return to previous solution states in the search process with the expectation of obtaining better solutions. The EOI is used to transfer information accumulated in a beam to other beams to yield improved solutions.  相似文献

Here we present the characteristic signatures in X-ray absorption and photoemission spectroscopy for molecular damage in adsorbed monolayers of bi-isonicotinic acid on a rutile TiO2(1 1 0) surface. Bi-isonicotinic acid is the anchor ligand through which many important inorganic complexes are bound to the surface of TiO2 in dye-sensitized solar cells. The nature of the damage caused by excessive heating of the adsorbed monolayer is consistent with splitting the molecule into two adsorbed isonicotinic acid molecular fragments. The effect on the lowest unoccupied molecular orbitals (involved in electron transfer in the molecule) can be understood in terms of the adsorption geometry of the reaction products and their nearest neighbor interactions.  相似文献

A new simplified structural model and its governing equations for beams on elastic foundations with elastic coupling are proposed. This modeling system is simple but appropriate for the initial structural design of large-scale submerged floating-beam structures moored by tension legs spaced at uniform interval along the beam. The model is actually for beam on discrete elastic supports rather than on continuous elastic foundations. Therefore, the governing equations are based on finite difference calculus and solutions for beams on discrete elastic supports with elasticity coupling are also proposed. To clarify the applicability limit of the proposed model, the equivalence between a beam on discrete elastic supports and that on continuous elastic foundation is investigated by comparisons of characteristic solutions.  相似文献

Based on geometrically non-linear theory for extensible elastic beams, governing equations of statically post-buckling of a beam with one end hinged and the other fixed, subjected to a uniformly distributed, tangentially compressing follower forces are established. They consist of a boundary-value problem of ordinary differential equations with a strong non-linearity, in which seven unknown functions are contained and the arc length of the deformed axis is considered as one of the basic unknown functions. By using shooting method and in conjunction with analytical continuation, the non-linear governing equations are solved numerically and the equilibrium paths as well as the post-buckled configurations of the deformed beam are presented. A comparison between the results of conservative system and that of the non-conservative systems are given. The results show that the features of the equilibrium paths of the beams under follower loads are evidently different from that under conservative ones.  相似文献
