A novel rearrangement from eudesmanolide to adamantanone

A novel cyclization-skeletal rearrangement from a eudesmanolide, 3-desoxy-4β, 5αH-hexahydro-?-α-santonin(1) to an adamantanone, 2, 5, 9-trimethyltetracyclo [6. 3. 1. 0^1,6. 0^5,10]dodecan-11-one(2) was found to occur as the result of a most unusual reaction. The structure of 2 was elucidated by the X-ray diffraction method.

Design of an insensitive-polarization all-optical switch based on multimode interference structures

This paper presents a new design for an insensitive-polarization all-optical switch using 2 × 2 multimode interference (MMI) couplers. The switching structure can operate at central operating wavelength 1550 nm for both polarizations. A nonlinear directional coupler is used to realize the phase shifter and therefore switching mechanism is obtained. The transfer matrix method and beam propagation method are used to design and optimize the whole device structure.     

Tm:Ho co-doped single mode optical fibre laser pumped by a 1600 nm Er fibre laser

An all-fibre Tm:Ho laser system is reported, using a 1600 nm Er fibre pump laser and 0.3 m length of the fibre through a two-stage optimization of both the pump source and laser configuration to achieve a low threshold operation. As a result a low threshold power of 33 mW and a slope efficiency of 0.6% have been achieved, in laser operation at a wavelength of 1870 nm and a cross-comparison with 785 nm laser diode pumping has been made.     

利用非线性光纤环路镜将20Gb/s的OTDM信号变换26nm

本文利用非线性光纤环路镜成功地将中心波长为1533.9nm的20Gb/s(8×2.5Gb/s)的OTDM信号变换到1553.3nm和1560.3nm,变换的最大间距达26nm,测量了变换后信号光的眼图和光谱图,并对实验结果进行了分析。     

利用NOLM实现连续光到归零码脉冲和波长的同时变换

利用非线性光学环路镜成功地实现了连续光到超短光脉冲和波长的同时变换.最大波长变换间距大于35nm.实验系统中采用增益开关分布反馈半导体激光器(GSDFB-LD)产生的超短光脉冲作为控制光,采用波长可调半导体激光器作为信号光.在变换过程中在1.55μm附近首次观测到了波长的反相变换.当信号光和控制光脉冲走离大于40.7ps时,变换信号脉冲发生畸变,变换脉冲展宽.     

缺陷态全介质多层光纤在DWDM系统中的应用

由亥姆霍兹方程得到的解,应用传榆矩阵法,对加入缺陷的全介质多层光纤的径向滤波特性进行了计算和仿真,最终设计了一种加入缺陷的全介质多层光纤,通道间隔B约为0．8am,可以很好地抑制四波混频效应,能很好地用于DWDM系统,也可以用于N通道波分复用一解复用滤波器。     

全钒氧化还原流体电池的电化学行为

本文介绍了全钒氧化还原流体电池及其结构和充放电机理。该电池是一种新型储能材料。它用ＶＯＳＯ４溶液作电极活性材料。一系列充放电试验结果表明,该电池具有良好的电化学性能。     

A New Chromium(III) Microelectrode Based on Self‐Assembled Diethylenetriamminepentaacetic Acid‐Poly(fuchsin basic) Modified Electrode

A new selective, sensitive, and rapid response microelectrode for microamount chromium(III) determination was developed. For the electrode preparation, fuchsin basic was electropolymerized onto a carbon microdisk electrode, and then diethylenetriamminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) was self‐assembled on the electrode surface by the reaction between DTPA and poly(fuchsin basic). The determination conditions were optimized. The electrode showed a linear response to Cr³⁺ ions in the concentration range of 1.0×10^?6?1.0×10^?4 M and exhibits a super‐Nernstian slope of 32.5±0.4 mV per decade. The detection limit is 3.6×10^?7 M. The response time of the electrode is less than 10 s, and it can be used for at least 2 months with limited considerable divergences in its potentials. The proposed electrode was applied for monitoring the chromium ion level in wastewater of chromate industries.
