Solid Phase Synthesis of 4H-Pyrimido[2,1-b] Benzothiazol-4-ones from Resin-Bound Cyclic Malonic Ester

The solid phase synthesis of 4H-pyrimido[2,1-6] benzothizaol-4-ones has been reported.     

Stereospecific syntheses of sex pheromones of the californian red scale and white peach scale (Homoptera:Diaspididae) based on 1,4-cis-hydrogenation of dienes

Stereospecific syntheses of (±)-3-methyl-6-isopropenyl-3(Z),9-decadien-1-yl acetate and (±)-3,9-dimethyl-6-isopropenyl-3(Z),9-decadien-1-yl propionate (the Racemoc forms of the pheromones of the scalesAonidiella aurantii andPseudaulascaspis pentagona) with a geometrical purity of the (Z)-trisubstituted double bond not lower than 99 % were performed. The key step in both syntheses was the 1,4-cis-hydrogenation of the corresponding ethyl 3-methyl-6-(1, 1-ethylenedioxyethyl)-2,4,9-decatrienoates catalyzed with chromium carbonyl complexes. These 2,4-dienes were obtained in five conventional steps including the alkylation of ethyl acetoacetate by the appropriate 1-bromo-3-butenes and the Horner-Emmons olefination of the corresponding -branched aldehydes.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. N,N（二甲庚基）乙酰胺萃钯机理研究

本文研究了N,N二甲庚基乙酰胺(N_(s03))从氯化物体系中萃取钯的机理。应用等摩尔系列法和斜率法确定萃合物组成为:(CH_3CONR_2H)_2PdCl_4。通过紫外-可见光谱法研究,证实N_(503)萃取钯的机理属阴离子交换反应,其萃取方程式为: 2CH_3CONR_2HCl_((o)) PdCl_4~(2-)(a)?(CH_3CONR_2H)_2PdCl_4(o) 2Cl~-(a)     

Determination of the uronic acid composition of seaweed dietary fibre by HPLC

A high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method is described for determination of the ratio of beta-d-mannuronic acid to alpha-l-guluronic acid (M/G ratio) in dietary fibre of edible seaweeds. Total dietary fibre (TDF) content was determined gravimetrically. The TDF fraction was hydrolysed with 12 m and 1 m H(2)SO(4), then neutralized with AG 4 x 4 resin. The uronic acids were separated in a Tracer Extrasil SAX 5 micro m column (25 cm x 4 mm) at 35 degrees C, with 2 mm KH(2)PO(4) containing 5% methanol as mobile phase at a fl ow rate of 1.5 mL/min. The detection wavelength was UV 210 nm. The chromatographic identifications of beta-d-mannuronic acid and alpha-l-guluronic acid were confirmed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). The method precision was 1.4% for beta-d-mannuronic acid and 3.5% for alpha-l-guluronic acid. The method was used to determine M/G ratio in canned seaweeds (Saccorhiza polyschides and Himanthalia elongata) and in dried seaweeds (H. elongata, Laminaria ochroleuca, Undaria pinnatifida, Palmaria sp. and Porphyra sp.).     

铜(Ⅱ)-邻菲咯啉-(邻菲咯啉-5,6-二酮)络合物的合成及其同脱氧核糖核酸的作用

以邻菲咯啉（phen)、邻菲咯啉－5，6－二酮（dione)为配体首次合成了高氯酸邻菲咯啉－邻菲咯啉－5，6－二酮（Ⅱ）。用荧光光谱，摩尔比，粘度，MLCT减色效应，平衡常数以及荧光能量转移研究了各合物与鱼精子DNA的结合情况，证实了该络合物与DNA存在插入作用。基于络合物对DNA能量转移造成荧光量子产率比值（Φλ/Φ320）的降低，解释了不同波长激发光下，荧光发射峰在加入DNA后产生猝灭和增强两种绝然不同的现象。     

螺旋共轭分子2,2′-螺二茚-1,1′, 3,3′-四酮及其衍生物的二阶非线性光学性质与分子结构关系的研究

采用AM1和ZINDO系列方法研究了螺旋共轭分子2,2′-螺二茚-1,1′, 3,3′-四酮及其含氮衍生物的几何构型和各分子的稳定构型, 并以稳定构型为基础, 计算了这些分子的电子光谱、二阶非线性光学系数βμ, β0及电荷转移, 考察了取代基变化对βμ的影响. 计算结果表明, 所设计分子兼具较大的二阶非线性光学系数和较高的透过率, 有希望成为一类新型的二阶非线性光学材料.     

Living free-radical copolymerization of allyl glycidyl ether with methyl acrylate

An investigation of the copolymerization of allyl glycidyl ether (AGE) with methyl acrylate (MA) was performed in the presence of benzyl imidazole-1-carbodithioate (BICDT) on the thermal initiation condition. Results showed that the process has good characteristics of living free radical polymerization, i.e. the molecular weight of the obtained polymer increases linearly with monomer conversion, molecular weight distribution is very narrow, and a linear relationship between ln([M]₀/[M]) and polymerization time is found. The copolymer structure containing epoxy groups was demonstrated from the ¹H nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) spectrum. It was found that the content of AGE in the copolymer increases with the increase in monomer conversion and molar faction of the AGE in the monomer feed. However, the polymerization could slow down when the fraction of AGE increases in the monomer feed. Taking advantage of living polymerization character, functional block copolymers PSt-b-P (MA-co-AGE) were prepared in the presence of PSt RAFT agent. __________ Translated from Journal of Anhui University of Science and Technology, 2006, 26(3): 56–61 [译自: 安徽理工大学学报]     

COPOLYMERS OF 2-ACRYLAMIDO-2-METHYL-1-PROPANESULFONIC ACID/MALEIC ACID： SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY

2-Acrylamido-2-methy1-1-propanesulfonic acid(AMPS),and maleic acid(MA)copolymerized with different feed ratios using N,N-dimethylformamide as a solvent and benzoyl peroxide(Bz_2O_2)as an initiator at 70℃.Structure and composition of copolymers for a wide range of monomer feed were determined by elemental analysis(content of N for AMPS-units).Monomer reactivity ratios for AMPS(M_1)-MA(M_2)pair were determined by the application of conventional linearization methods such as Fineman-Ross(F-R),Kelen-Tüd(?)s(KT)and Extended Kelen-Tüds(EKT)and a nonlinear error invariable model method using a computer program RREVM.The characterizations were done by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)thermal gravimetry analysis(TGA),and and X-ray diffraction.The antimicrobial effects of polymers were also tested on various bacteria,and yeast.     

On the bromination of hypericin: The gymnochrome chromophores

Summary Stepwise electrophilic bromination of hypericin in pyridine as the solvent yields regioselectively 2,5-dibromohypericin, 2,5,9-tribromohypericin, and 2,5,9,12-tetrabromohypericin. The compounds were characterized by means of NMR-, UV-Vis-, and fluorescence-spectra, andpK _a andpK* _a measurements. These properties were compared with those of hypericin on the one hand and of the recently isolated gymnochromes on the other hand.

Zur Bromierung des Hypericins: Die Gymnochrom-Chromophore

Zusammenfassung Schrittweise elektrophile Bromierung von Hypericin in Pyridin als Lösungsmittel liefert regioselektiv 2,5-Dibromhypericin, 2,5,9-Tribromhypericin und 2,5,9,12-Tetrabromhypericin. Diese Verbindungen wurden durch NMR-, UV-Vis- und Fluoreszenz-Spektrometrie sowie durchpK _a - undpk* _a -Messungen charakterisiert. Diese Eigenschaften wurden mit jenen des Hypericins und der kürzlich isolierten Gymnochrome verglichen.
