There are several theorems describing the intricate relationship between flatness and associated primes over commutative Noetherian rings. However, associated primes are known to act badly over non-Noetherian rings, so one needs a suitable replacement. In this paper, we show that the behavior of strong Krull primes most closely resembles that of associated primes over a Noetherian ring. We prove an analogue of a theorem of Epstein and Yao characterizing flat modules in terms of associated primes by replacing them with strong Krull primes. Also, we partly generalize a classical equational theorem regarding flat base change and associated primes in Noetherian rings. That is, when associated primes are replaced by strong Krull primes, we show containment in general and equality in many special cases. One application is of interest over any Noetherian ring of prime characteristic. We also give numerous examples to show that our results fail if other popular generalizations of associated primes are used in place of strong Krull primes.  相似文献

Repeated convolution of a probability measure on leads to the central limit theorem and other limit theorems. This paper investigates what kinds of results remain without positivity. It reviews theorems due to Schoenberg, Greville, and Thomée which are motivated by applications to data smoothing (Schoenberg and Greville) and finite difference schemes (Thomée). Using Fourier transform arguments, we prove detailed decay bounds for convolution powers of finitely supported complex functions on . If M is an hermitian contraction, an estimate for the off‐diagonal entries of the powers of is obtained. This generalizes the Carne–Varopoulos Markov chain estimate.  相似文献

We study complete noncompact spacelike hypersurfaces immersed into conformally stationary spacetimes, that is, Lorentzian manifolds endowed with a timelike conformal vector field V. In this setting, by using as main analytical tool a suitable maximum principle for complete noncompact Riemannian manifolds, we establish new characterizations of totally umbilical hypersurfaces in terms of their higher order mean curvatures. For instance, supposing an appropriated restriction on the norm of the tangential component of the vector field V, we are able to show that such hypersurfaces must be totally umbilical provided that either some of their higher order mean curvatures are linearly related or one of them is constant. Applications to the so‐called generalized Robertson‐Walker spacetimes are given. In particular, we extend to the Lorentzian context a classical result due to Jellett  29 .  相似文献

In this paper, we apply Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM) to find the analytical solutions of nonlinear MHD flow of an incompressible viscous fluid through convergent or divergent channels in presence of a high magnetic field. The flow of an incompressible electrically conducting viscous fluid in convergent or divergent channels under the influence of an externally applied homogeneous magnetic field is studied both analytically and numerically. The graphs are presented to reveal the physical characteristics of flow by changing angles of the channel, Hartmann and Reynolds numbers.  相似文献

We introduce a family of periods of mixed Tate motives called dissection polylogarithms, that are indexed by combinatorial objects called dissection diagrams. The motivic coproduct on the former is encoded by a combinatorial Hopf algebra structure on the latter. This generalizes Goncharov's formula for the motivic coproduct on (generic) iterated integrals. Our main tool is the study of the relative cohomology group corresponding to a bi-arrangement of hyperplanes.  相似文献

Let be a densely defined operator on a Banach space X. Characterizations of when generates a C0‐semigroup on X are known. The famous result of Lumer and Phillips states that it is so if and only if is dissipative and is dense in X for some . There exists also a rich amount of Banach space results concerning perturbations of dissipative operators. In a recent paper Tyran–Kamińska provides perturbation criteria of dissipative operators in terms of ergodic properties. These results, and others, are shown to remain valid in the setting of general non–normable locally convex spaces. Applications of the results to concrete examples of operators on function spaces are also presented.  相似文献

On the basis of the general framework of H-maximal monotonicity (also referred to as H-monotonicity in the literature), a generalization to Rockafellar’s theorem in the context of solving a general inclusion problem involving a set-valued maximal monotone operator using the proximal point algorithm in a Hilbert space setting is explored. As a matter of fact, this class of inclusion problems reduces to a class of variational inequalities as well as to a class of complementarity problems. This proximal point algorithm turns out to be of interest in the sense that it plays a significant role in certain computational methods of multipliers in nonlinear programming. The notion of H-maximal monotonicity generalizes the general theory of set-valued maximal monotone mappings to a new level. Furthermore, some results on general firm nonexpansiveness and resolvent mapping corresponding to H-monotonicity are also given.  相似文献

为了探索结构与生物分布性质的关系,合成了一种新的NS配体L-半胱氨酸酞-对氯苯胺盐酸盐(CYCA).以SnCl2为还原剂,制备了放化纯大于93%的99mTcO-CYCA.探讨了pH值和反应温度对99mTcO—CYCA标记率的影响,并对其小鼠生物分布进行了研究.结果表明,99mTcd-CYCA在脑和心肌中具有一定的浓集,在肝脏中有较高浓集,并且清除速度较慢.这些结果对于探索结构与生物分布性质的关系提供了参考.  相似文献
