Growth and Characteristics of Nd^3＋：GdAl3（BO3）4 Crystal

Nd^3 :GdAl3(BO3)4(NGAB) crystal with the size of 30 mm was grown from the solvent system of K2O-Gd2O3-MoO3-B2O3 by combining accelerated seed rotation technology with medium seeded solution growth (MSSG) method,and its crystal structure has been determined by X-ray powder diffraction.It crystallizes in the trigonal system,space group R32 with a=9.2743(2),c=7.2438(1)A,V=538A^3,Z=3and Dc=4.379g/cm^3,The absorption and emission spectra of NGAB in the function of σ and π polarizations at room temperature have been measured.UV generation tuneable in 378-382nm,green(531nm) generation and blue generation tuneable in 436-443 nm as well as red(669)nm generation by self-frequency changing were obtained with the oupput of 105, 119.5,445and 19μJ/pulse,respectively,when the crystal was pumped by a dye laser.     

Solubilities, Densities and Refractive Indices of Rubidium Chloride or Cesium Chloride in Ethanol Aqueous Solutions at Different Temperatures

The data of solubilities, densities and refractive indices of rubidium chloride or cesium chloride in the system CEHsOH-H2O were measured by using a simple accurate analytical method at different temperatures, with mass fractions of ethanol in the range of 0 to 1.0. In all cases, the presence of ethanol significantly reduced the solubility of rubidium chloride and cesium chloride in aqueous solution. The solubilities of the saturated solutions were fitted via polynomial equations as a function of the mass fraction of ethanol. The CsC1-C2H5OH-H2O ternary system appeared in two liquid phases： alcoholic phase and water phase, when the mass fractions of ethanol were in the range of 10.37% to 49.59% at 35 ℃. Density and refractive index were also determined for the same ternary systems with varied unsaturated salt concentrations. Values for both experiment and theory were correlated with the salt concentrations and proportions of alcohol in the solutions. The equations proposed could also account for the saturated solutions.     

溶剂热法制备双离子掺杂型(Cs,Rb)0.33WO3及其近红外光遮蔽性能

碱金属离子中,Cs+和Rb+具有相近的离子半径,电负性和氧化物晶格结构.采用溶剂热法制备Cs,Rb双离子共掺杂的钨青铜材料(Cs,Rb)0.33WO3,并系统研究了Cs/Rb摩尔比对材料微观结构和近红外遮蔽性能的影响.研究结果表明,不同Cs/Rb摩尔比样品均为六方相纳米棒.光学测量表明,所有样品均具有较高的可见光透过率(积分透过率65.8;),并可以实现良好的近红外遮蔽性能.其中,Cs/Rb摩尔比为1:2的共掺杂(Cs,Rb)0.33WO3具有最佳的近红外遮蔽性能,其红外光积分透过率仅为20.5;.     

Rb2CO3—C2H5OH—H2O三元体系在40℃的溶解度及其应用

铷和铯是稀有分散的成盐元素,以往研究工作甚少,近年来铷和铯及其化合物在高新技术中的应用正受到人们的关注^[1]。钾、铷和铯的化学性质十分相似,尤其是铷与铯的分离和纯化难度很大,从矿物、盐卤和地热水资源中分离提取铷和铯的过程中,通常很难获得纯度较高的产品,开展铷盐纯化技术的研究具有重要的实际意义。混合溶剂用于盐类的分离和纯化,一直受到重视。文献^[2]中仅报道了对碱金属碳酸盐－醇－水在20℃时两相的分层关系,没有研究过饱和状态下的三相关系。根据碳酸铯在30℃乙醇中的溶解度比碳酸铷大5倍以上,我们采用国产碳酸铷商品作为试验物料,在测定了40℃时Rb2CO3-C2H5OH-H2O三元体系平衡溶解度相关系的基础上,进行简单的纯化处理,使该产品纯度得到进一步提高。

The result of our experiment on Rb atoms is interesting and surprising .To affirm or to refuse the result should not be by conjectures but by experiments.

Measuring Transmittance in Rubidium Vapour Cells Using an Extremely Weak Coherent Field of Light

The absorptive properties of the atomic transition in the Rb^85 D2 (A) line (5S1/2-5P3/2) at 780.Onm are measured by using a continuous tunable diode laser and a CCD detector in Rb vapour cell under the condition of extremely weak incident intensity. When the intensity of incident light decreases from 420pW/cm^2 to 0.03pW/cm^2, the transmittance is found to be independent of the incident intensity within our experimental accuracy.     

Coherent spectroscopy of the 87RbFg=1→ Fe=0 closed transition

This paper has observed linewidth narrowing of dark states in rubidium cell by using the Hanle configuration. The reduction of the coherent resonance width under the transition of ^87Rb Fg = 1 → Fe = 0 is observed and the qualitative explanation about its mechanism is presented. Multiple subnatural width dips are obtained with a linearly polarized laser beam for the transitions of ^87Rb Fg = 1→Fe = 0, 1, 2. The feature of negative and positive slope, namely dispersionlike feature, is observed in the transmitted light.
