PRODUCTION INVENTORY SYSTEM WITH RANDOM SUPPLY INTERRUPTIONS STATUE AND RANDOM LEAD TIMES

This article analyzes a continuous-review inventory system with random supply interruptions and random lead time which may be interrupted by a random number of supplier’s OFF periods. The inventory with constant demand rate is managed by a (r; q1, q2, ··· , qm) policy and supplies from an unreliable sole supplier. By renewal theory and matrix Geometric method, the long-run average cost function is obtained and some important properties of the function are proved. Furthermore, performance of the inventory is derived.     

ON A NEW SINGULAR DIRECTION OF QUASIMEROMORPHIC MAPPINGS

By applying Ahlfors＇ theory of covering surface, we establish a fundamental inequality for quasimeromorphic mapping in an angular domain. As an application, we prove the existence of a new singular direction for quasimeromorphic mapping f, namely, a precise S direction, for which the spherical characteristic function S（r, f） is used as a comparison function.

In this paper, we shall first obtain a result concerning minimum modulus of polynomials and next improve the above inequality for polynomials with restricted zeros. Our result improves the well known inequality due to Ankeny and Rivlin and besides generalizes some well known polynomial inequalities proved by Aziz and Dawood.

GABOR ANALYSIS OF THE SPACES M（p,q,w）（R~d） AND S（p,q,r,w,ω）（R~d）

Let g be a non-zero rapidly decreasing function and w be a weight function. In this article in analog to modulation space, we define the space M(p, q, w)(Rd) to be the subspace of tempered distributions f ∈ S′(Rd) such that the Gabor transform Vg(f) of f is in the weighted Lorentz space L(p, q, wdμ) (R2d). We endow this space with a suitable norm and show that it becomes a Banach space and invariant under time frequence shifts for 1 ≤ p, q ≤∞. We also investigate the embeddings between these spaces and the dual space of M(p, q, w)(Rd). Later we define the space S(p, q, r, w, ω)(Rd) for 1 < p < ∞, 1 ≤ q ≤∞. We endow it with a sum norm and show that it becomes a Banach convolution algebra. We also discuss some properties of S(p, q, r, w, ω)(Rd). At the end of this article, we characterize the multipliers of the spaces M(p, q, w)(Rd) and S(p, q, r, w, ω)(Rd).     

Lipschitz Estimates for Commutators of N-dimensional Fractional Hardy Operators

In this paper, it is proved that the commutator Hβ,b which is generated by the n-dimensional fractional Hardy operator Hβ and b ∈λα （R^n） is bounded from L^p（R^n） to L^q（R^n）, where 0 〈 α 〈 1, 1 〈 p, q 〈 ∞ and 1/P - 1/q = （α＋β）/n. Furthermore, the boundedness of Hβ,b on the homogenous Herz space Kq^α,p（R^n） is obtained.     

A Simple Construction of Gabor Frames for L^2（R）

In this paper, we give a method which allows us to construct a class of Parseval frames for L2 (R) from Fourier frame for L2 (I). The result shows that the function which generates a Gabor frame by translations and modulations has "good" properties, i.e., it is sufficiently smooth and compactly supported.
