Electron transport properties of a triple-terminal Aharonov-Bohm interferometer are theoretically studied. By applying a Rashba spin-orbit coupling to a quantum dot locally, we find that remarkable spin polarization comes about in the electron transport process with tuning the structure parameters, i.e., the magnetic flux or quantum dot levels. When the quantum dot levels are aligned with the Fermi level, there only appear spin polarization in this structure by the presence of an appropriate magnetic flux. However, in absence of magnetic flux spin polarization and spin separation can be simultaneously realized with the adjustment of quantum dot levels, namely, an incident electron from one terminal can select a specific terminal to depart from the quantum dots according to its spin state. 相似文献

The structure and working principle of Micromegas (MICRO Mesh Gaseous Structure) is discussed. Some radiation sources of α and X rays are used to test this detector. The optimized electric-field intensity of the conversion gap is obtained. The transmission of electrons and the uniformity of the amplification gap are also presented. We report the analysis status of single π0electroproduction in the resonance region to study the electromagnetic excitation of the nucleon resonances. The study is aimed at understanding of the internal structure and dynamics of the nucleon. The experiment was performed using an unpolarized cryogenic hydrogen target and 2.0 and 5.8 GeV polarized electron beam during the ele and e1-6 run periods with CLAS at Jefferson Lab. The new measurements will produce a data base with high statistics and large kinematic coverage for the hadronic invariant mass (W) up to 2.0 CeV in the momentum transfer (Q2) range of 0.3--6.0 GeV2. Investigation on Guided-Mode Characteristics of Hollow-Core Photonic Crystal Fibre at Near-Infrared Wavelengths 下载免费PDF全文
Guided-mode characteristics of hollow-core photonic crystal fibre (HC-PCF) are experimentally and theoretically investigated. The transmission spectrum in the range from 755 to 845nm is observed and the loss is measured to be 0.12dB/m at 800nm by cut-back method. Based on the full-vector beam propagation method and the full-vector plane-wave method, the characteristics of mode field over propagation distance 1 m are simulated, and the results show that the propagation efficiency can be above 80%. Compared with the fundamental guided mode well confined in air core within shorter propagation distance, the second-order guided mode leaks into the cladding region and gradually attenuates due to larger refractive index difference. The primary loss factors in HC-PCF and the corresponding solutions are elementarily discussed. 相似文献

A temperature tunable photonie bandgap fiber (PBGF) is demonstrated by an index-guiding photonic crystal fiber filled with high-index liquid. The temperature tunable characteristics of the fiber are experimentally and numerically investigated. Compression of transmission bandwidth of the PBGF is demonstrated by changing the temperature of part of the fiber. The tunable transmission bandwidth with a range of 250nm is achieved by changing the temperature from 30℃ to 90℃. 相似文献

The adiabatic parametric electron pump of the infinite zigzag graphene ribbons and the infinite armchair graphene ribbons is investigated by the tight binding method. The pumping signals are added by two gates around the ribbons. It is shown that the de current can be pumped out by cyclically varying the two gate voltages and the pumped current strongly depends on the driving frequency, the pumping amplitude and the phase difference of the gate voltages. The pumped current is mediated by the graphene energy levels and its peaks occur around the energies where transmission coefficients and density of states are large. The pump current may give one peak or two opposite peaks corresponding to each transmission peak or transmission pair peaks. The height and width of the current peaks increase with the amplitude of the pumping driving voltages. The pumped current is antisymmetric about the phase difference Ф=π and for small pumping amplitude the pumped current is a sinusoidal function of the phase difference. Some graphene ribbons, although with different widths, have very similar contours of the transmission coefficients and give the same pumped current figures. 相似文献

We present a numerical investigation for steady laminar flow of a viscous incompressible electrically conducting fluid through a channel of a rectangular cross-section with a transverse magnetic field and suction or injection wails.
