A single-step HSS method for non-Hermitian positive definite linear systems

In this paper, based on the Hermitian and skew-Hermitian splitting (HSS) iteration method, a single-step HSS (SHSS) iteration method is introduced to solve the non-Hermitian positive definite linear systems. Theoretical analysis shows that, under a loose restriction on the iteration parameter, the SHSS method is convergent to the unique solution of the linear system. Furthermore, we derive an upper bound for the spectral radius of the SHSS iteration matrix, and the quasi-optimal parameter is obtained to minimize the above upper bound. Numerical experiments are reported to the efficiency of the SHSS method; numerical comparisons show that the proposed SHSS method is superior to the HSS method under certain conditions.     

Modulus-Based GSTS Iteration Method for Linear Complementarity Problems

In this paper, a modulus-based generalized skew-Hermitian triangular splitting (MGSTS) iteration method is present for solving a class of linear complementarity problems with the system matrix either being an $H_+$-matrix with non-positive off-diagonal entries or a symmetric positive definite matrix. The convergence of the MGSTS iteration method is studied in detail. By choosing different parameters, a series of existing and new iterative methods are derived, including the modulus-based Jacobi (MJ) and the modulus-based Gauss-Seidel (MGS) iteration methods and so on. Experimental results are given to show the effectiveness and feasibility of the new method when it is employed for solving this class of linear complementarity problems.     

Unified impulsive fuzzy-model-based controllers for chaotic systems with parameter uncertainties via LMI

In this paper, a novel technique based on impulsive fuzzy T–S model is proposed for controlling chaotic systems with parameter uncertainties. According to this new model, a unified methodology for establishing robust stability, asymptotic stability and exponential stability of impulsive controllers is developed. Various robust stability conditions are presented in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMI). A simple iterative algorithm is also provided for calculating design parameters based on LMI techniques. Finally, a typical design procedure is developed by using well-known chaotic systems for illustration, accompanied by several numerical simulations to demonstrate the validity of the proposed methodology.

In this paper, it is proved that every local Jordan derivation of Tn （R） is an inner derivation and that every local Jordan automorphism of Tn（R） is a Jordan automorphism. As applications, we show that local derivations and local automorphisms of Tn （R） are inner.     

标准混合差集矩阵的构造

通过利用差集矩阵和投影矩阵的正交分解之间的关系,首先提出了构造小的标准混合差集矩阵的一般方法.其次,给定一个阶为r+1的标准混合差集矩阵和一个阶为r的差集矩阵,首先提出了构造阶为r(r+1)的标准混合差集矩阵的一般方法.如果阶为r的差集矩阵不存在但一个试验次数为r~2的正交表存在,也可以通过它们构造阶数较大的标准混合差集矩阵.     

Deleting Vertices and Interlacing Laplacian Eigenvalues

The authors obtain an interlacing relation between the Laplacian spectra of a graph G and its subgraph G - U, which is obtained from G by deleting all the vertices in the vertex subset U together with their incident edges. Also, some applications of this interlacing property are explored and this interlacing property is extended to the edge weighted graphs.

具变时滞的非线性退化微分系统的渐近稳定性判据

In this paper, the asymptotic stability for singular differential nonlinear systems with multiple time-varying delays is considered. The V-functional method for general singular differential delay system is investigated. The asymptotic stability criteria for singular differential nonlinear systems with multiple time-varying delays are derived based on V-functional method and some analytical techniques, which are described as matrix equations or matrix inequalities. The results obtained are computationally flexible and efficient.     

Applications of Bernstein-Durrmeyer operators in estimating the covering number

The paper deals with estimates of the covering number for some Mercer kernel Hilbert space with Bernstein-Durrmeyer operators. We first give estimates of l2-norm of Mercer kernel matrices reproducing by the kernels K(α,β)(x,y):=∞∑k=0 C(α,β)k Qk(α,β)(x)Qk(α,β)(y),where Qα,βk(x) are the Jacobi polynomials of order k on (0, 1), Cα,βk > 0 are real numbers,and from which give the lower and upper bounds of the covering number for some particular reproducing kernel Hilbert space reproduced by K(α,β)(x,y).
