A production system with two job classes,changeover times and revisitation

This paper, motivated by the need to predict performance of production systems with random arrivals, setup times and revisitation, presents an imbedded Markov chain analysis of the underlyingM/G/1 queue with two customer classes, changeover times and instantaneous Bernoulli feedback. It is assumed that jobs are scheduled according to the exhaustive alternative priority queue discipline. Expressions for the mean waiting time and the nonsaturation condition are derived under two different priority assignments to the repeat customers. Sojourn times under these priority assignments are shown to possess a convex ordering. Results of the study are also applicable to data communication networks that operate under cyclic switching mechanisms. TFT-LCD屏缺陷检测的研究

分析了国外目前常用几种薄膜晶体管(TFT)有源矩阵液晶显示（AM-LCD)屏的缺陷检测方法的优缺点。深入研究了TFT-LCD屏的结构、缺陷产生的原因和概率．设计了一种能全面、直观地进行TFT-LCD缺陷检测的方法，该方法不仅能检测出TFT-LCD中各种常见的新短路等硬性缺陷并确定其具体位置．而且能根据TFT-LCD屏质量要求对软性缺陷进行判定。     

A planar subharmonically-pumped 71 GHz receiver with integral feed antenna

A planar, subharmonically-pumped, hybrid millimeter-wave receiver with integral antenna is described. Coplanar waveguide filters are used to isolate the ports and provide image enhancement. The integral planar antenna has 12 dB gain and is suited for use as a feed. The main lobe is normal to the substrate surface. The receiver is designed for an instantaneous bandwidth of 10 GHz. Experiments at 71 GHz indicate single-sideband mixer conversion loss of 6.5 dB. We believe that this represents the highest level of integration yet demonstrated in this frequency range.     

Efficient routing for IP subnet VLAN over Ethernet

Existing IP routing algorithms have been developed mainly for non‐VLAN networks. For these routing algorithms to work, an end station must be attached to its associated network. The introduction of VLAN has, however, allowed the physical location of the end station to be changed from time to time. Therefore, some extra mechanism is required to support routing in VLAN environment. Existing approaches have some drawbacks in terms of inefficiency in traffic forwarding and switch software complexity. In this paper, a simple and efficient method for routing over IP subnet VLAN in Ethernet is proposed. This method has been implemented in hardware and found to work correctly. 时隙光突发交换网络阻塞性能分析模型

文章介绍了基于时隙的光突发交换网络的结构及其特点，提出了相应的时隙化多波长多光纤系统阻塞分析模型，仿真结果表明该模型准确地反映了光纤数和帧长等网络参数变化对网络阻塞特性的影响．对于评估时隙突发交换网络性能和设计实现参数具有重要意义。     

基于一种电流控制型芯片的开关电源

阐述了电流控制型开关电源的基本原理，并将其与电压控制型开关电源进行了比较，指出了电流型控制的优点，并介绍了一种常用的电流型控制芯片（TOPswitch-Ⅱ）及基于该芯片的开关电源。     

一种NMOS型折叠和内插电路及其SPICE分析

将折叠和内插技术应用于高速Ａ／Ｄ转换器中，以３μｍ器件参数，５Ｖ工作电压，分析了一种ＮＭＯＳ型折叠和内插电路在全温区范围的功能，以及ＮＭＯＳ管衬度偏置效应和误差的影响，结果表明，在通常的工艺条件下，折叠电路可处理２．４Ｖ１ＭＨｚ的满幅输入信号，数字采样速度大于１ＭＳ／ｓ包含第一级内插电阻的折叠电路功耗为１４ｍＷ。

Stochastic Optimization Algorithms for Pricing American Put Options Under Regime-Switching Models

This work provides a Markov-modulated stochastic approximation based approach for pricing American put options under a regime-switching geometric Brownian motion market model. The solutions of pricing American options may be characterized by certain threshold values. Here, a class of Markov-modulated stochastic approximation (SA) algorithms is developed to determine the optimal threshold levels. For option pricing in a finite horizon, a SA procedure is carried out for a fixed time T. As T varies, the optimal threshold values obtained via SA trace out a curve, called the threshold frontier. Numerical experiments are reported to demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach. Our approach provides us with a viable computational tool and has advantage in terms of the reduced computational complexity compared with the variational or quasivariational inequality methods for optimal stopping.Communicated by C.
