We describe the synthesis and the physical properties of polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) containing a phosphorus atom at the edge. In particular, the impact of the successive addition of aromatic rings on the electronic properties was investigated by experimental (UV/Vis absorption, fluorescence, cyclic voltammetry) and theoretical studies (DFT). The physical properties recorded in solution and in the solid state showed that the P‐containing PAHs exhibit properties expected for an emitter in white organic light‐emitting diodes (WOLEDs). 相似文献

A new dinuclear iron(Ⅲ) complex has been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography: [FeⅢ2(L)(C6H5COO)(SO4)(CH3OH)2]·CH3CN·CH3OH(1, H3 L = N,N'-bis(salicylidene)-1,3-diamino-2-propanol). Complex 1 belongs to orthorhombic space group Pna21 with a = 11.4400(8), b = 22.9705(2), c = 12.5712(9) , V = 3303.5(4) 3, Z = 4, F(000) = 1576, Dc = 1.531 g·cm–3, Mr = 761.36, μ = 1.007 mm–1, S = 1.014, the final R = 0.0505 and wR = 0.1018. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular O–H···O hydrogen bonds, forming an extended one-dimensional chain structure. The temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility measurement shows that antiferromagnetic interaction is propagated between the metal centers. Fit as dinuclear arrangement gave parameters of J = 19.7 cm-1, g = 1.89 and R2 = 0.9999. 相似文献

Achieving highly sensitive magnetic sensors by means of Metal-DNA-Metal (MDM) structure is a key issue. DNA, being a genetic information carrier in living cells reveals tunable semiconducting response in the presence of external electric and magnetic fields, which is promising for molecular electronics. The influence of magnetic fields up to 1200 mT on the current–voltage (I–V) behavior of Gold-DNA-Gold (GDG) structure having variable gap sizes from 20–50 μm are reported in this work. These structures were fabricated using UV lithography, DC magnetron sputtering and thermal evaporation techniques. DNA strands were extracted from Boesenbergia rotunda plant via standard protocol. The acquired I–V characteristics display the semiconducting diode nature of DNA in GDG structures. The potential barrier for all the structures exhibit an increasing trend with the increase of externally imposed magnetic field irrespective of variable gap sizes. Furthermore, the potential barrier in GDG junction at higher magnetic field strengths (>1000 mT) is found to be considerably enhanced. This enhancement in the junction barrier height at elevated magnetic fields is attributed to the reduction of carrier mobility and augmentation of resistance. The achieved admirable features of magnetic sensitivity suggest the viability of using these GDG sandwiches as a prospective magnetic sensor. 相似文献

This letter presents a small‐sized, high‐power single‐pole double‐throw (SPDT) switch with defected ground structure (DGS) for wireless broadband Internet application. To reduce the circuit size by using a slow‐wave characteristic, the DGS is used for the quarter‐wave (°/4) transmission line of the switch. To secure a high degree of isolation, the switch with DGS is composed of shunt‐connected PIN diodes. It shows an insertion loss of 0.8 dB, an isolation of 50 dB or more, and power capability of at least 50 W at 2.3 GHz. The switch shows very similar performance to the conventional shunt‐type switch, but the circuit size is reduced by about 50% simply with the use of DGS patterns. 相似文献

This letter presents a new polarizer which has a simple comb structure inside a circular waveguide. The electrical performance of the proposed comb polarizer is optimized by a circular waveguide radius and by the physical parameters of the comb plates. This polarizer is suitable for providing good performance in millimeter‐band application because of its simple structure and low fabrication cost. In our experiments the dual‐band comb polarizer designed in band 1(K) and band 2(Ka) showed good electrical performance without any tuning elements. 相似文献
