In this paper, we establish a new phytoplankton–zooplankton model by considering the effects of plankton body size and stochastic environmental fluctuations. Mathematical theory work mainly gives the existence of boundary and positive equilibria and shows their local as well as global stability in the deterministic model. Additionally, we explore the dynamics of V-geometric ergodicity, stochastic ultimate boundedness, stochastic permanence, persistence in the mean, stochastic extinction, and the existence of a unique ergodic stationary distribution in the corresponding stochastic version. Numerical simulation work mainly reveals that plankton body size can generate great influences on the interactions between phytoplankton and zooplankton, which in turn proves the effectiveness of mathematical theory analysis. It is worth emphasizing that for the small value of phytoplankton cell size, the increase of zooplankton body size can not change the phytoplankton density or zooplankton density; for the middle value of phytoplankton cell size, the increase of zooplankton body size can decrease zooplankton density or phytoplankton density; for the large value of phytoplankton cell size, the increase of zooplankton body size can increase zooplankton density but decrease phytoplankton density. Besides, it should be noted that the increase of zooplankton body size cannot affect the effect of random environmental disturbance, while the increase of phytoplankton cell size can weaken its effect. This article considers a problem of evaluating barrier option prices when the underlying dynamics are driven by stochastic elasticity of variance (SEV). We employ asymptotic expansions and Mellin transform to evaluate the option prices. The approach is able to efficiently handle barrier options in a SEV framework and produce explicitly a semi-closed form formula for the approximate barrier option prices. The formula is an expansion of the option price in powers of the characteristic amplitude scale and variation time of the elasticity and it can be calculated easily by taking the derivatives of the Black–Scholes price for a barrier option with respect to the underlying price and computing the one-dimensional integrals of some linear combinations of the Greeks with respect to time. We confirm the accuracy of our formula via Monte-Carlo simulation and find the SEV effect on the Black–Scholes barrier option prices. 相似文献

Quantum Bayesian computation is an emerging field that levers the computational gains available from quantum computers. They promise to provide an exponential speed-up in Bayesian computation. Our article adds to the literature in three ways. First, we describe how quantum von Neumann measurement provides quantum versions of popular machine learning algorithms such as Markov chain Monte Carlo and deep learning that are fundamental to Bayesian learning. Second, we describe quantum data encoding methods needed to implement quantum machine learning including the counterparts to traditional feature extraction and kernel embeddings methods. Third, we show how quantum algorithms naturally calculate Bayesian quantities of interest such as posterior distributions and marginal likelihoods. Our goal then is to show how quantum algorithms solve statistical machine learning problems. On the theoretical side, we provide quantum versions of high dimensional regression, Gaussian processes and stochastic gradient descent. On the empirical side, we apply a quantum FFT algorithm to Chicago house price data. Finally, we conclude with directions for future research. 相似文献

The relation between the aperiodic solution of the Lorenz model and that of a stochastic anharmonic oscillator is explored. The stochastic oscillator is constructed by replacing (t) in the Lorenz model by a stochastic variable(t) of specified statistics. The resulting system is of course not isomorphic to the Lorenz model, but does share with it a number of statistical properties. Longitudinal and transverse wave attenuation coefficients are obtained in a simple integral form for ultrasonic waves in cubic polycrystalline materials with elongated grains. Dependences of attenuation on frequency and grain shape are described in detail. The explicit analytical solutions for ellipsoidal grains in the Rayleigh and stochastic frequency limits are given for a wave propagating in an arbitrary direction relative to ellipsoid axes. The attenuation exhibits classic frequency dependence in those frequency limits. However, the dependence on the grain shape in the stochastic limits is unexpected: it is independent of the cross-section of the ellipsoidal grains and depends only on the grain dimension in the propagation direction. In the Rayleigh region attenuation is proportional to effective volume of the ellipsoidal grain and is independent of its shape. A complex behavior of attenuation on the grain shape/size and frequency is exhibited in the transition region. The results obtained reduce to the classic dependences of attenuation on parameters for polycrystals with equiaxed grains. 相似文献

研究了谐和激励下含有界随机参数Duffing系统(简称随机Duffing系统)中的随机混沌及其延迟反馈控制问题.借助Gegenbauer多项式逼近理论,将随机Duffing系统转化为与其等效的确定性非线性系统.这样,随机Duffing系统在谐和激励下的混沌响应及其控制问题就可借等效的确定性非线性系统来研究.分析阐明了随机混沌的主要特点,并采用Wolf算法计算等效确定性非线性系统的最大Lyapunov指数,以判别随机Duffing系统的动力学行为.数值计算表明,恰当选取不同的反馈强度和延迟时间,可分别达到抑制或诱发系统混沌的目的,说明延迟反馈技术对随机混沌控制也是十分有效的.
