Thermal gradient induced sidebranching in directional solidification

The polycrystalline perovskitelike manganese oxides La_1-xA_xMnO (A = Na, and K, ) have been fabricated by sol-gel technique. For all the compositions explored in this work, the average manganese oxidation state is practically constant, at for A = Na, and for A = K, respectively. A close relationship is confirmed to hold between the Curie temperature (T_c) and the bond distance of Mn-O. Results of magnetic measurements show that these materials can be utilized as suitable candidates for magnetic refrigerants with wide applied temperature span, for their significant entropy change and the easily tuned Curie temperature. Integral Kernel Operators on Fock Space – Generalizations and Applications to Quantum Dynamics

A general theory of operators on Boson Fock space is discussed in terms of the white noise distribution theory on Gaussian space (white noise calculus). An integral kernel operator is generalized from two aspects: (i) The use of an operator-valued distribution as an integral kernel leads us to the Fubini type theorem which allows an iterated integration in an integral kernel operator. As an application a white noise approach to quantum stochastic integrals is discussed and a quantum Hitsuda–Skorokhod integral is introduced. (ii) The use of pointwise derivatives of annihilation and creation operators assures the partial integration in an integral kernel operator. In particular, the particle flux density becomes a distribution with values in continuous operators on white noise functions and yields a representation of a Lie algebra of vector fields by means of such operators.

碳纳米管(CNT)场发射显示器的关键技术的研究

对碳纳米管阴极的制备以及场发射显示器的真空封装技术进行了研究.利用一种新的碳纳米管生长工艺制备出了具有优良场发射性能的碳纳米管阴极.并将这种直接生长的碳纳米管薄膜作为阴极,结合一种弹性封装工艺,开发了一种具有简单字符显示功能的场发射显示器.该显示器在较低的工作电压下就可获得高亮度的显示效果,并且器件的亮度与驱动电压成较好的线性关系,这将有利于未来的碳纳米管场发射显示器实现高亮度和多级灰度显示.器件的持续工作寿命测试已经超过5500小时,充分验证了碳纳米管作为场发射阴极的应用潜力.     

一种软件实现虚拟景深的方法

影视后期制作或图像合成中，动态实时改变显示画面的景深能进一步增强画面的真实感，但由于实时性要求较高，软件实现在处理速度方面容易产生瓶颈。为此，采用预处理的办法，分别对前景和背景进行低通滤波，得到前、背景各自的模拟帧序列，通过调节前景和背景帧序列的位置，模拟确定其各自的变焦程度，然后将前景和背景动态合成具有虚拟景深效果的画面。     

Improving the rate of convergence of Newton methods on Banach spaces with a convergence structure and applications

In this note, we use inexact Newton-like methods to find solutions of nonlinear operator equations on Banach spaces with a convergence structure. Our technique involves the introduction of a generalized norm as an operator from a linear space into a partially ordered Banach space. In this way, the metric properties of the examined problem can be analyzed more precisely. Moreover, this approach allows us to derive from the same theorem, on the one hand, semilocal results of Kantorovich-type, and on the other hand, global results based on monotonicity considerations. By imposing very general Lipschitz-like conditions on the operators involved, on the one hand, we cover a wider range of problems, and on the other hand, by choosing our operators appropriately, we can find sharper error bounds on the distances involved than before. Furthermore, we show that special cases of our results reduce to the corresponding ones already in the literature. Finally, several examples are being provided where our results compare favorably with earlier ones.     

Studies on basicity of alkali metal catron exchanged β and X zeolites by pyrrole-IR spectroscopy

The strength of basic sites has been measured by pyrrole-IR on alkali metal cation exchanged β and X zeolites, as well as NaOH loaded Naβ. The influence of cation type and the structure of zeolites on their basicity has been studied. The acidic and basic properties of the samples were investigated by NH3-TPD and isopropanol reaction. It was shown that the strength of basic sites on samples could be characterized by the shift of vNH band in the pyrrole-IR spectra. The framework oxygen charges were calculated from the Sanderson electronegativity. The changes in basic properties with various alkali metal cation are consistent with the changes of local oxygen charges of the zeolite framework.     

Convex functions, subdifferentiability and renormings

This paper through discussing subdifferentiability and convexity of convex functions shows that a Banach space admits an equivalent uniformly [locally uniformly, strictly] convex norm if and only if there exists a continuous uniformly [locally uniformly, strictly] convex function on some nonempty open convex subset of the space and presents some characterizations of super-reflexive Banach spaces. 应用粒子动态分析仪研究水力旋流器流场

利用粒子动态分析仪(PDA),对水力旋流器内固相颗粒流场做了全面的测定,得出水力旋流器内固相颗粒的流态、浓度及粒度分布,为进一步查清水力旋流器的工作机理提供了重要理论依据。
