CMOS MEMS技术的现状及展望

简要介绍了MEMS的发展状况及CMOS工艺在MEMS中的地位。主要介绍了pre-CMOS，intermediate-CMOS和post-CMOS三种不同的CMOS MEMS工艺。详细讨论了CMOS MEMS今后将面临的挑战及其未来应用领域，最后，根据国内情况对我国CMOS MEMS的发展提出了建议。     

Asymptotic arc-components of unimodal inverse limit spaces

We consider the inverse limit space (I,f) of a unimodal bonding map f as fixed bonding map. If f has a periodic turning point, then (I,f) has a finite non-empty set of asymptotic arc-components. We show how asymptotic arc-components can be determined from the kneading sequence of f. This gives an alternative to the substitution tiling space approach taken by Barge and Diamond [Ergodic Theory Dynamical Systems 21 (2001) 1333].     

Concept and synthetic approach for a kilogram scale synthesis of octa-d-arginine amide nonahydrochloride salt

Oligomers of arginine, such as octa-d-arginine amide, are excellent transporters for active drugs through cell membranes and tissue. The synthesis of octa-d-arginine amide, as the nonahydrochloride salt, was approached via a solution phase synthetic route involving the preparation of an octa-d-ornithine intermediate, which was then converted into the desired octa-d-arginine compound through a guanidinylation step. The multi-step synthesis was carried out at pilot scale, resulting in the preparation of 700 g of the target molecule. No chromatographic purification was needed at any step of the process.     

A Differential R&D Game: Implications for Knowledge-Based Growth Models

This paper compares the outcomes of strategic and nonstrategic research and development (R&D). Firms undertake cost-reducing R&D in an environment where benefits accrue from their rivals' R&D via a common pool of knowledge. We demonstrate that multiple suboptimal equilibria exist; under these conditions, growth models which do not consider strategic interactions will overestimate or underestimate the growth rate.     

Parametric Statistical Uncertainty Relations and Parametric Statistical Fundamental Equations

Multivariate parametric statistical uncertainty relations are proved to specify multivariate basic parametric statistical models. The relations are expressed by inequalities. They generally show that we cannot exactly determine simultaneously both a function of observation objects and a parametric statistical model in a compound parametric statistical system composed of observations and a model. As special cases of the relations, statistical fundamental equations are presented which are obtained as the conditions of attainment of the equality sign in the relations. Making use of the result, a generalized multivariate exponential family is derived as a family of minimum uncertainty distributions. In the final section, several multivariate distributions are derived as basic multivariate parametric statistical models.

Hyperbolic branching Brownian motion

Summary. Hyperbolic branching Brownian motion is a branching diffusion process in which individual particles follow independent Brownian paths in the hyperbolic plane ? ² , and undergo binary fission(s) at rate λ > 0. It is shown that there is a phase transition in λ: For λ≦ 1/8 the number of particles in any compact region of ? ² is eventually 0, w.p.1, but for λ > 1/8 the number of particles in any open set grows to ∞ w.p.1. In the subcritical case (λ≦ 1/8) the set Λ of all limit points in ∂? ² (the boundary circle at ∞) of particle trails is a Cantor set, while in the supercritical case (λ > 1/8) the set Λ has full Lebesgue measure.
