We discuss a new class of RSII braneworld cosmology exhibiting accelerated expansion and dominated by quintessence. It is explicitly demonstrated that the universe expansion history (transition from inflation to deceleration epoch to acceleration and effective quintessence era) may naturally occur in such unified theory for some classes of inverse scalar potentials. Besides a decaying effective cosmological constant, the model incorporates an increasing black hole mass, an increasing Maxwellian electrical charge with cosmic time and a time-dependent brahe tension. The cosmological model exhibits several features of cosmological and astrophysical interest for both the early and late universe consistent with recent observations, in particular the ones concerned with the gravitational constants, black holes masses and charges and variation of the gauge coupling parameters with cosmic time. One interesting mark of the constructed model concerns the fact that a black hole mass surrounded by quintessence energy may increase with time even if the horizon disappears.  相似文献

The sensor virus is a serious threat,as an attacker can simply send a single packet to compromise the entire sensor network.Epidemics become drastic with link additions among sensors when the small world phenomena occur.Two immunization strategies,uniform immunization and temporary immunization,are conducted on small worlds of tree-based wireless sensor networks to combat the sensor viruses.With the former strategy,the infection extends exponentially,although the immunization effectively reduces the contagion speed.With the latter strategy,recurrent contagion oscillations occur in the small world when the spatial-temporal dynamics of the epidemic are considered.The oscillations come from the small-world structure and the temporary immunization.Mathematical analyses on the small world of the Cayley tree are presented to reveal the epidemic dynamics with the two immunization strategies.  相似文献

We review the moduli stabilization mechanism found in Garriga et al. (Garriga, J., Pujolas, O., and Tanaka, T. (2000). Preprint hep-th/0111277.) for a class of five-dimensional warped brane-world scenarios. Specifically, we consider solutions with a power-law warp factor and a bulk dilaton with logarithmic profile in terms of the proper distance in the extra dimension. This includes the Heterotic M-theory brane-world of Lukas et al. (Lukas, A., Ovrut, B. A., Stelle, K. S., and Waldram, D. (1999). Physical Review D 59, 086001.) and Khoury et al. (Khoury, J., Ovrut, B. A., Steinhardt, P. J., and Turok, N. (2001). Preprint hep-th/0103239.) and the Randall–Sundrum (RS) model as a limiting case. In general, there are two moduli fields y ±, corresponding to the positions of two branes. Classically, the moduli are massless due to a scaling symmetry of the action. However, in the absence of supersymmetry, they develop an effective potential at one loop. Local terms proportional to some powers of the local curvature scale at the location of the corresponding brane are needed in order to remove the divergences in the effective potential. Such terms break the scaling symmetry and therefore act as stabilizers for the moduli. Moreover, for q 10, the observed hierarchy can be naturally generated by this potential, and the lightest modulus mass is of order m TeV.  相似文献

In this work we extend an analysis due to Visser of the effective propagation of a neutral scalar particle on a brane world scenario which is a particular solution of the five dimensional Einstein-Maxwell equations with cosmological constant having an electric field pointing in the extra spatial dimension. We determine the dispersion relations of a charged scalar particle to first order in a perturbative analysis around those of the neutral particle. Since depending on whether the particle is charged or not the dispersion relations change, we could collect bulk information, namely the presence of the electric field, by studying the 4D dynamics of the particles.It is a pleasure to dedicate this work to Alberto García on the occasion of his 60th birthday.  相似文献

We analyze an oscillating universe model in brane world cenario. The oscillating universe cycles through a series of expansions and contractions and its energy density is dominated by dust matter at early-time expansion phase and by phantom dark energy at late-time expansion phase. We find that the period of the oscillating universe is not sensitive to the tension of the brane, but sensitive to the equation-of-state parameter w of the phantom dark energy, and the ratio of the period to the current Hubble age approximately varies from 3 to 9 when the parameter w changes from −1.4 to −1.1. The fraction of time that the oscillating universe spends in the coincidence state is also comparable to the period of the oscillating universe. This result indicates that the coincidence problem can be significantly ameliorated in the oscillating universe without singularity.  相似文献

It is discovered that at a given latitude when a tilted flat surface at a fixed inclination varies with azimuth, a couple of particular orientations can be found at which the daily possible sunshine duration on the surface is unvarying all the year round, keeping at a constant value. The author defines this constant value as the Equal Insolation-Duration (EID), and defines the particular azimuth at which EID appears as the Equal-Sunshine Azimuth (ESA).The existentiar domains of EID and ESA are determined and the variation rules of EID and ESA with latitude and inclined angle are studied in this paper.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this article, we present a methodology to simulate the evolution of interest rates under real-world probability measure. More precisely, using the multidimensional Shifted Lognormal LIBOR market model and a specification of the market price of risk vector process, we explain how to perform simulations of the real-world forward rates in the future, using the Euler?Maruyama scheme with a predictor?corrector strategy. The proposed methodology allows for the presence of negative interest rates as currently observed in the markets.  相似文献
