Implementation of an integrated glucose POCT system

In response to a change of the Belgian National Directives whereby hospital laboratories became responsible for all point-of-care testing (POCT) performed within hospital walls a standardized and automated POC glucose-testing system was implemented in our hospital. The system consists of 50 AccuCheck Inform instruments (Roche Diagnostics, Vilvoorde, Belgium), 50 docking stations, a DataCare Server, and connections to the medical laboratory information system (MOLIS, Sysmex, Barchon, Belgium) and to the hospital information system. Implementation involved many parties and extensive preparation and communication. Key issues were bar-coded patient and user identification, training, and responsibilities. One year after the hospital wide implementation of this system the quality of POC glucose testing has significantly increased, thereby improving patient safety. This study describes a stepwise change over involving the medical laboratory and with a focus on hands-on quality.Presented at the ninth conference on Quality in the Spotlight, 18–19 March 2004, Antwerp, Belgium.     

在线滤波技术在光纤马赫-德尔交叉复用器中的应用

为构造出与理想梯形滤波器接近的滤波形状，在单级光纤马赫-德尔交叉复用器的基础上，引入在线滤波技术；通过增加干涉级数和调整2对干涉臂的干涉长度和耦合器的耦合比，实现了逼近宽带陡沿的滤波输出。通过与梯形滤波器傅里叶展开式的比较，计算得到了器件的最佳参数，器件的滤波性能以及温度稳定性相对于单级结构得到了明显提高。根据理论计算，成功制作出通道间隔为50GHz的样品器件。其输出为-0.5dB，带宽大于0.185nm，相邻通道隔离度大于30dB，满足了DWDM系统指标要求。     

DDS—1型多功能电子实验箱

在进行各种电子实验、研制电子产品的过程中 ,信号源及各种测量仪表是必不可少的。DDS- 1型多功能电子实验箱即可满足这方面的需要。它自备 5路电源 ,能产生多种标准的模拟信号和数字信号 ;同时可方便地用来对各种信号的幅度、频率、工作状态等进行测量和显示 ;具有宽阔的实验操作平台、手提式机箱及组装式平面结构 ,使用、维护、携带均很方便。本文介绍该实验箱的功能、原理及设计特点。     

Time saving fluid dynamic predictions in a wetting-drying process: A hypothesis for vertisols

This paper is aimed at investigating the effect of the initial water content in a vertisol sample on the whole wetting-drying process leading the system to a change in volume. In order to do this, an experimental setup was realized and employed with very thin soil layers wetted from below (“per ascensum”). The results show that the effect of the initial water content on the swelling-shrinkage process is to shift the corresponding curve e-ϑ towards bigger-smaller values of the humidity but does not seem to affect the dynamics of the process. The text was submitted by the authors in English.     

Strategies for multi-site GLP studies

 A GLP study can be performed at more than one site. This is called a multi-site study. Although, the study is performed at different sites, it is still one study and must completely comply with the GLP principles. The fact that different activities are conducted at different sites implies that the planning, the organization and the communication are crucial for the success of the study. This means that all the staff involved should know their responsibilities and should have the knowledge and skills to realize all the phases of the study according to the GLP principles. To achieve a well managed multi-site study, several strategies for setting up such a study can be followed. This paper focuses on the responsibilities, communication, and collaboration of the personnel, which are involved in a multi-site study. Several case studies are highlighted, and we concluded that the basic communication triangle in a single-site GLP study between test facility management, study director, and the quality assurance unit should be extended to the communication among test facility and test site management, study director, principle investigator(s), and the quality assurance units at the test sites. High temperature corrosion behaviour of M(Co,Ni)CrAIY-coatings on high temperature materials-microanalytical investigations

In our former investigations, the phenomenon high temperature corrosion (HTC) was described exemplarily on selected materialcoating combinations for blades of stationary gas turbines, mainly in the temperature region of up to 750° C. To answer the question, in which manner higher gas inlet and/or higher material surface temperature would influence the HTC behaviour, a special analytical technique—the integral layer profile analysis—was introduced to ameliorate concentration profile methods. By examining IN 738 LC specimens with CoCrAlY plasma spray coating, stressed by hot gas at 900° C, the limits of this system are shown by explaining the corrosion mechanism; the method is also used for other systems, e.g. U 520 with NiCrAlY coating at 750° C.     

“模式识别”课程线上线下混合教学模式探索与实践

在模式识别课程教学中,针对传统线下课程短板,开展线上与线下相结合的混合教学模式教学改革探索。阐述了本课程教学改革的教学环节设计、教学实施方法、考核方式等,以思维导图和综合案例串联庞杂知识点,采用多样化手段,加强对学生创新思维和能力的培养。教学实践证明,该课程教学改革调动了学生主动性,培育了其创新能力与科学精神,丰富了线上线下混合教学改革的理论研究。     

基于问题导向的在线教学研究

本文以“电力电子技术基础”的在线教学为例,开展以学生为中心的基于问题导向的教学方法优化实践。教学过程中,结合学校教师教学发展中心组织的EMI教师培训,对教学计划、教学重点进行了大力度的改进;同时,结合过程中与学生的交互、期末学生的反馈以及同行专家的建议,对本次的优化改进进行了教学分析、分析、反思和总结,以期不断提升本课程的教学质量,并为其它工科类课程的教学优化提供借鉴。
