There are representative models for spatial topological relations of Region connection calculus and intersections model.The purpose of this paper is to study the topological relations of multiple simple regions.In this paper,the 4-intersection matrix model is extended into a 2n-intersection representative function model to represent the spatial relations of multiple simple regions.The exclusiveness and the completeness of these topological relations are proved.Moreover,this paper also gives detailed discussion on the properties and applications of this model from a special and new perspective.And the topological relations among three simple regions in this paper are applied to forecast the impact of typhoon on the specified target areas.Compared with the extended 4-intersection model,8-intersection cube model is more elaborate in representing the topological relations among the three simple regions.  相似文献

This article for the first time develops a nonparametric methodology for the analysis of projective shapes of configurations of landmarks on real 3D objects from their regular camera pictures. A fundamental result in computer vision, emulating the principle of human vision in space, claims that, generically, a finite 3D configuration of points can be retrieved from corresponding configurations in a pair of camera images, up to a projective transformation. Consequently, the projective shape of a 3D configuration can be retrieved from two of its planar views, and a projective shape analysis can be pursued from a sample of images. Projective shapes are here regarded as points on projective shape manifolds. Using large sample and nonparametric bootstrap methodology for extrinsic means on manifolds, one gives confidence regions and tests for the mean projective shape of a 3D configuration from its 2D camera images. Two examples are given: an example of testing for accuracy of a simple manufactured object using mean projective shape analysis, and a face identification example. Both examples are data driven based on landmark registration in digital images.  相似文献

We consider the Cauchy problem for the spatially inhomogeneous Landau equation with soft potentials in the case of large (i.e. non-perturbative) initial data. We construct a solution for any bounded, measurable initial data with uniform polynomial decay in the velocity variable, and that satisfies a technical lower bound assumption (but can have vacuum regions). For uniqueness in this weak class, we have to make the additional assumption that the initial data is Hölder continuous. Our hypotheses are much weaker, in terms of regularity and decay, than previous large-data well-posedness results in the literature. We also derive a continuation criterion for our solutions that is, for the case of very soft potentials, an improvement over the previous state of the art.  相似文献

The most popular weight restrictions are assurance regions (ARs), which impose ratios between weights to be within certain ranges. ARs can be categorized into two types: ARs type I (ARI) and ARs type II (ARII). ARI specify bounds on ratios between input weights or between output weights, whilst ARII specify bounds on ratios that link input to output weights. DEA models with ARI successfully maximize relative efficiency, but in the presence of ARII the DEA models may under-estimate relative efficiency or may become infeasible. In this paper we discuss the problems that can occur in the presence of ARII and propose a new nonlinear model that overcomes the limitations discussed. Also, the dual model is described, which enables the assessment of relative efficiency when trade-offs between inputs and outputs are specified. The application of the model developed is illustrated in the efficiency assessment of Portuguese secondary schools.  相似文献

This article is concerned with ?‐methods for delay parabolic partial differential equations. The methodology is extended to time‐fractional‐order parabolic partial differential equations in the sense of Caputo. The fully implicit scheme preserves delay‐independent asymptotic stability and the solution continuously depends on the time‐fractional order. This article reports on some theoretical studies concerning the impulsional mode of a cylindrical ion trap (CIT) supplied with a periodic impulsional radio frequency (rf) voltage of the form VaccosΩt/(1 ? kcost) with 0 ≤ k < 1. The performance characteristics of CIT impulsional mode, for the twelve stability regions, were computed using fifth order Runge‐Kutta method and were compared to the classical sinusoidal mode k = 0. Also, the results show that, for the same equivalent operating point in two stability diagrams (having the same βz) the associated modulated secular ion frequencies behavior are the same. Tumor necrosis factor receptor-related 2 (TR2, HVEM or TNFRSF-14) plays an important role in immune responses, however, the mechanisms regulating its expression are unclear. To understand the control of TR2 gene expression, we studied the upstream region of the gene. Gel supershift assays revealed inducible binding of nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT) to a putative NFAT site within the TR2 promoter. Furthermore, cotransfection of a dominant negative NFAT construct, or siRNA for NFAT, resulted in increased expression of a TR2 reporter gene. Our findings demonstrate that NFAT negatively regulates TR2 expression in activated T cells.  相似文献

The elastic moduli El of the crystalline regions of α‐chitin and chitosan in the direction parallel to the chain axis were measured by X‐ray diffraction. The El values were 41 GPa for α‐chitin, and 65 GPa for chitosan, respectively, at 20°C. The contracted skeletons of α‐chitin and chitosan are the key factor for the low El values compared with that (138 GPa) of cellulose I. The El value of α‐chitin was constant at 41 GPa both at −190°C and 150°C, which indicates that the molecular chain of α‐chitin is stable against heat within the temperature and stress range studied. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
