Trigonometric wavelets for Hermite interpolation   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
The aim of this paper is to investigate a multiresolution analysis of nested subspaces of trigonometric polynomials. The pair of scaling functions which span the sample spaces are fundamental functions for Hermite interpolation on a dyadic partition of nodes on the interval . Two wavelet functions that generate the corresponding orthogonal complementary subspaces are constructed so as to possess the same fundamental interpolatory properties as the scaling functions. Together with the corresponding dual functions, these interpolatory properties of the scaling functions and wavelets are used to formulate the specific decomposition and reconstruction sequences. Consequently, this trigonometric multiresolution analysis allows a completely explicit algorithmic treatment.

In the present paper, the behavior of a single polymer chain under various solvent conditions was modeled by self-avoiding walks (SAW) with nearest neighbors attraction Δε on a simple cubic lattice. Determination of the θ-condition wasbased on the numerical results of the mean square radius of gyration and end-to-end distance. It was found that at the θtemperatue Δε/kT equals -0.27. The exponents a in the Mark-Houwink equation with different interaction parameters areconsistent with the results of experiments: under θ-condition, a = 0.5, and for a good solvent α= 0.74-0.84, respectively.  相似文献

We examine the encoding of chemical structure of organic compounds by Labeled Hydrogen-Filled Graphs (LHFGs). Quantitative Structure-Property Relationships (QSPR) for a representative set of 150 organic molecules have been derived by means of the optimization of correlation weights of local invariants of the LHFGs. We have tested as local invariants Morgan extended connectivity of zero- and first order, numbers of path of length 2 (P2) and valence shells of distance of 2 (S2) associated with each atom in the molecular structure, and the Nearest Neighboring Codes (NNC). The best statistical characteristics for the Gibbs free energy has been obtained for the NNC weighting. Statistical parameters corresponding to this model are the following n = 100, r2 = 0.9974, s = 5.136 kJ/mol, F = 38319 (training set); n = 50, r2 = 0.9990, s = 3.405 kJ/mol, F = 48717 (test set). Taking place within more extensive work that focuses on hybrid methods in aeroacoustics, the present study is devoted to the data transfer operations that are to be performed between two stages of a hybrid calculation. More precisely, the article focuses on two typical operations that usually accompany such data transfer, which are (i) the sampling rate reduction and (ii) the interpolation of the unsteady perturbations to be transmitted from one stage to the other. First part of the paper analyzes the two main issues of such operations, which are the spuriousing and the aliasing phenomena. For doing so, the usual notions of the interpolation theory are revisited before they are synthesized within an original approach. The here proposed formalism allows to understand better both the spuriousing and the aliasing phenomena, as well as to accurately predict the impact of the latter on the data to be transmitted in terms of signal degradation. Second part of the paper provides an illustration and a validation of these theoretical developments via a direct application to a typical aerodynamic noise problem (aeroacoustic emission by a 2D cylinder cross flow). There, it is further shown how the here proposed formalism can help in improving aeroacoustics hybrid calculations by predicting (and thus possibly minimizing) the bias to be induced on the acoustic extrapolation stage because of the aliasing and/or spuriousing effects inherited from the sampling rate reduction and/or interpolation of CFD data—which is likely to occur in any hybrid scenario. In this work crack formation and development is addressed and implemented in a planar layered reinforced-concrete beam element. The crack initiation and growth is described using the strength criterion in conjunction with exact kinematics of the interlayer connection. In this way a novel embedded-discontinuity beam finite element is derived in which the tensile stresses in concrete at the crack position reaching the tensile strength will trigger a crack to open. Since the element is multi-layered, in this way the crack is allowed to propagate through the depth of the beam. The cracked layer(s) will involve discontinuity in the cross-sectional rotation equal to the crack-profile angle, as well as a discontinuity in the position vector of the layer’s reference line. A bond–slip relationship is superimposed onto this model in a kinematically consistent manner with reinforcement being treated as an additional layer of zero thickness with its own material parameters and a constitutive law implemented in the multi-layered beam element.  相似文献
