 The series of hexacyclo-linear polyorganosiloxanes containing methyl and phenyl side groups, which differ by molecular weight and tacticity, were analyzed for the dependence of surface pressure on surface area per monomer unit. The effects of temperature and the nature of substrate were also investigated. All the polymers investigated are capable of forming Langmuir monolayers on the surfaces of liquid substrates. Being under compression, the monolayers of these polymers are able to form discrete multilayers. This property is closely related to the existence of thermodynamically stable mesophase in cyclolinear polyorganosiloxanes. It has been established that formation of the multilayers in these polymers is quite sensitive to the molecular weight of the polymer. This effect is explained by a change in the value of the shear module of the polymer with molecular weight. Received: 2 March 1998 Accepted: 20 July 1998  相似文献

为了提升Al/Zr多层膜的热稳定性,采用直流磁控溅射方法制备了18个带有不同厚度Si间隔层的Al(1 wt.%Si)/Zr多层膜,并将这些样品分别进行了不同温度(100~500 ℃)的真空退火,退火时间为1 h.利用X射线掠入射反射(GIXR)和X射线衍射(XRD)的方法来研究Si间隔层对Al/Zr多层膜热稳定性的作用.GIXR测量结果表明:随着Si间隔层厚度的增大,Al膜层的粗糙度减小,而Zr膜层的粗糙度增大;XRD测量结果表明:Al和Zr膜层粗糙度的变化是由于退火后膜层中晶粒尺寸不同造成的.相比于没有Si间隔层的Al/Zr多层膜,引入厚度为0.6 nm的Si间隔层可以有效提升Al/Zr多层膜的热稳定性.  相似文献

We report on a photoreflectance investigation in the 0.8-1.5 eV photon energy range and at temperatures from 80 to 300 K on stacked layers of InAs/GaAs self-assembled quantum dots (QDs) grown by Atomic-Layer Molecular Beam Epitaxy. We observed clear and well-resolved structures, which we attribute to the optical response of different QD families. The dependence of the ground state transition energy on the number of stacked QD layers is investigated and discussed considering vertical coupling between dots of the same column. It is shown that Coulomb interaction can account for the observed optical response of QD families with different morphology coexisting in the same sample. Received 17 November 1999  相似文献

 用磁控溅射法制备了周期厚度和周期数均相同的Mo/Si多层膜,用原子力显微镜和小角X射线衍射分别研究了Mo靶溅射功率不相同时,Mo/Si多层膜表面形貌和晶相的变化。随后在国家同步辐射实验室测量了Mo/Si多层膜的软X射线反射率。研究发现,随着Mo靶溅射功率的增大,Mo/Si多层膜的表面粗糙度增加,Mo的特征X射线衍射峰也增强,Mo/Si多层膜的软X射线峰值反射率先增大后减小。  相似文献

 用磁控溅射法分别制备了以Mo膜层和Si膜层为顶层的Mo/Si多层膜系列, 利用小角X射线衍射确定了各多层膜的周期厚度。以不同周期数的Mo/Si多层膜的新鲜表面近似等同于同一多层膜的内界面,通过原子力显微镜研究了多层膜界面粗糙度随膜层数的变化规律。并在国家同步辐射实验室测量了各多层膜的软X射线反射率。研究表明:随着膜层数的增加,Mo膜层和Si膜层的界面粗糙度先减小后增加然后再减小,多层膜的峰值反射率先增加后减小。  相似文献

We perform MD simulations of the nanoindentation on (001) and (111) surfaces of Ag–Ni multilayers with different modulation periods, and find that both the hardness and maximum force increase with the increase of modulation period, in agreement with the inverse Hall–Petch relation. A prismatic partial dislocation loop is observed in the Ni(111)/Ag(111) sample when the modulation period is relatively large. We also find that misfit dislocation network shows a square shape for the Ni(111)/Ag(111) interface, while a triangle shape for the Ni(001)/Ag(001) interface. The pyramidal defect zones are also observed in Ni(001)/Ag(001) sample, while the intersecting stacking faults are observed in Ni(111)/Ag(111) sample after dislocation traversing interface. The results offer insights into the nanoindentation behaviors in metallic multilayers, which should be important for clarifying strengthening mechanism in many other multilayers.  相似文献

The effect of bilayer repeats (N) on the static and dynamic magnetic properties of Co/Ni multilayers was investigated. The effective perpendicular magnetic anisotropy constant of multilayers drops from 1.08×106 erg/cm3 to 0.78×106 erg/cm3 with N increasing from 5 to 11. For Co/Ni multilayers with N7, sharp magnetization switching was observed. In contrast, Co/Ni multilayers with N9 have a long tail in the hysteresis loop. Ferromagnetic resonance measurements show that intrinsic Gilbert damping changes from 0.021 to 0.016 with increase in N and is inversely proportional to N. This study provides a deep understanding and effective control of magnetic properties of Co/Ni multilayers for spintronics devices.  相似文献

Stimulation of transprosthetic vascularization represents an interesting strategy in implantology to allow rapid tissue integration and finally to avoid prosthetic rejection. To achieve this goal, we modified the surface of porous titanium implants with polyelectrolyte multilayer (PEM) films functionalized with vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Among the two PEM systems investigated, poly(L‐lysine)/poly(L‐glutamic acid) (PLL/PGA) and poly(allylamine hydrochloride)/poly(sodium 4‐styrenesulfonate) (PAH/PSS), the (PAH/PSS)4 architecture was selected to functionalize porous titanium, both for its high efficiency to adsorb VEGF and for its biocompatibility toward endothelial cells. In an original way, we unambiguously demonstrated that VEGF adsorbed on (PAH/PSS)4 maintains its bioactivity in vitro and stimulates endothelial cells proliferation. This effect was correlated with specific activation of intracellular signaling pathways induced by successive phosphorylation of the endothelial VEGF receptor VEGFR2 and mitogen‐activated protein kinases (MAPK) ERK1/2. By clearly demonstrating the proangiogenic activity of the VEGF‐PEM coating in vitro, the present study constitutes a first step toward in vivo application.  相似文献

In this paper, we apply Büttiker's gauge invariant, charge conservation, nonlinear transport theory to explore the spin-polarized tunneling of ferromagnet/insulator (semiconductor) single and double junctions. The Green function of spin-polarized tunneling is calculated by the tight-binding approximation method. The energy and the angle (between the molecular field and the vertical axis) dependences of the weakly nonlinear dc transport coefficient and the linear low frequency ac transport coefficient are investigated. Epitaxial multilayers of 2,9‐di(2‐hydroxyethyl)‐anthra[2,1,9‐def:6,5,10‐def′]diisoquinoline‐1,3,8,10‐tetrone (DMe‐PTCDI) were prepared on epitaxially grown phthalocyanine copper(II ) complex (CuPc) multilayers on Ag(110) by molecular beam epitaxy. This work presents LEED and photoluminescence investigations of a highly ordered organic heterosystem. Four different mono‐ and multilayer structures are presented. LEED images taken during preparation of the monolayer structures show a dose‐dependent structural phase transition. Photoluminescence measurements on the heterosystem show a temperature‐dependent transition in the fluorescence spectrum, resulting in a significant intensity increase. The results are compared to a previous study of DMe‐PTCDI on Ag(110).  相似文献
