Nonlinear Filtering for Diffusions in Random Environments

Suppose that the signal X to be estimated is a diffusion process in a random medium W and the signal is correlated with the observation noise. We study the historical filtering problem concerned with estimating the signal path up until the current time based upon the back observations. Using Dirichlet form theory, we introduce a filtering model for general rough signal X ^W and establish a multiple Wiener integrals representation for the unnormalized pathspace filtering process. Then, we construct a precise nonlinear filtering model for the process X itself and give the corresponding Wiener chaos decomposition.     

A continuous function space with a Faber basis

Let be compact with #S=∞ and let C(S) be the set of all real continuous functions on S. We ask for an algebraic polynomial sequence (P_n)_n=0^∞ with deg P_n=n such that every fC(S) has a unique representation f=∑_i=0^∞ α_iP_i and call such a basis Faber basis. In the special case of , 0<q<1, we prove the existence of such a basis. A special orthonormal Faber basis is given by the so-called little q-Legendre polynomials. Moreover, these polynomials state an example with A(S_q)≠U(S_q)=C(S_q), where A(S_q) is the so-called Wiener algebra and U(S_q) is the set of all fC(S_q) which are uniquely represented by its Fourier series.

概述了因特网上DoS攻击的相应分类及基本特征，评述了包过滤、攻击检测及防御技术的最新成果．前一部分介绍了入口过滤、基于路由的过滤网和有效源地址强制协议．后一方面主要讨论了适合于检测攻击包的技术，介绍了新近提出的频谱分析方法和泛滥检测系统．简要评述了已有的防御SYN泛滥攻击的技术措施，介绍了Cisco的TCP拦截技术，提出了改进策略．     

New Results on the Queens_n 2 Graph Coloring Problem

For the Queens_n ² graph coloring problems no chromatic numbers are available for n > 9 except where n is not a multiple of 2 or 3. In this paper we propose an exact algorithm that takes advantage of the particular structure of these graphs. The algorithm works on the independent sets of the graph rather than on the vertices to be colored. It combines branch and bound, for independent set assignment, with a clique based filtering procedure. A first experimentation of this approach provided the coloring number values ranging for n = 10 to n = 14.     

DNS／GPS组合导航系统研究

本文阐述ＤＮＳ与ＧＰＳ组合导航的必要性、可行性及组合方法，给出了误差模型和卡尔曼滤波模型。选取观测量不同可有三种组合方式，通过模拟计算给出了相应曲线。当采用伪距及其变化率作为观测量时，其组合方式最佳，定位精度可达米级，航向精度可提高到０．２°。     

Bounding multi-stage stochastic programs from above

The purpose of this paper is to present general approaches for bounding some multi-stage stochastic programs from above. The results are based on restricting the solution set, such that the remaining multi-stage stochastic program is easy to solve. An example where the methods can be applied is presented.Supported in part by NATO Collaborative Research Grant No. 0785/87.     

Absorption spectra and the nature of complexes in the polyvinyl Alcohol-Nickel (II) chloride system

We have used electronic spectroscopy in the 160–1100 nm range to study the polyvinyl alcohol-nickel(II) chloride system. Based on the results obtained, we hypothesize formation of mixed-ligand complexes of the type [Ni(H₂O)_6-nCl_n]^2-n (n = 0, 1,..., 5) in the polyvinyl alcohol matrix. Transformation of the coordination sphere as the NiCl₂ concentration changes is apparent both in the region of the d-d transition bands (350–1100 nm) and in the region of the charge transfer bands (160–250 nm). Wavelet and harmonic filtering for distortion-invariant volume holographic correlation

The wavelet and harmonic filtering method suggested by Zalevsky and Ouzieli is introduced in this paper and adopted in our volume holographic image recognition system. This composite filter combines several scaled versions of the cascaded wavelet and harmonic filter, obtaining high discrimination ability and wide dynamic range of rotation and scale deformations. Optical experiments are conducted to demonstrate the validity and practicability of the algorithm. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of using this algorithm in a volume holographic system. Moreover, the separate correlation approach proposed in this paper greatly simplifies the manufacturing process and reduces the cost of the system.     

Marcinkiewicz–Zygmund inequalities

We study a generalization of the classical Marcinkiewicz–Zygmund inequalities. We relate this problem to the sampling sequences in the Paley–Wiener space and by using this analogy we give sharp necessary and sufficient computable conditions for a family of points to satisfy the Marcinkiewicz–Zygmund inequalities.     

A GENERAL FORM OF THE INCREMENTS OF A TWO-PARAMETER WIENER PROCESS

In this paper,we consider a general form of the increments for a two-parameter Wiener process.Both the Csorgo-Revesz‘s increments and a class of the lag increments are the special cases of this general form of increments.Our results imply the theorem that have been given by Csorgo and Revesz(1978),and some of their conditions are removed.
