Soliton interaction under the influence of higher-order effects

In this paper, we present exact N-soliton solution by employing simple, straightforward Darboux transformation based on the Lax pair for Hirota equation, a higher-order nonlinear Schrödinger (HNLS) equation. As examples, one- and two-soliton solutions in explicit forms are given and their properties are also analyzed. A bound solution without interaction will be theoretically predicted if one can adjust frequency shift for each soliton appropriately. Further, we obtain the approximate eigenvalues by employing two-soliton solution and discuss analytically the interaction between neighboring solitons under the influence of the higher-order effects. It is shown that the combined effects of the higher-order effects can restrain the interaction between neighboring solitons to some extent. The results are proved by directly solving HNLS equation numerically.     

一种新的直扩超宽带系统快速同步方案

本文提出了一种新的基于能量窗的直扩超宽带系统码片同步方法，通过设计具有重复特性的码来提高能量窗的信噪比，从向可以较为准确地获得码片同步，并将窗口中的信息作为接收端本地信号与接收信号进行匹配接收，这样可以存未知接收信号相位的情况下有效地接收多径能量，提高接收信噪比。在完成码片同步之后再进一步进行PN码的相位同步，这里以线性搜索为例分析得到超宽带信号总的平均同步时间，并与现有的超宽带同步方案进行了比较，新方案将信号捕获分成两部分完成，大大降低了超宽带信号捕获时间。

Interferometric monitoring of satellite longitudes

This paper proposes a technique for monitoring the longitudinal motion of geosynchronous satellites. A two‐antenna interferometer is used, with the baseline orientation adjusted to a particular horizontal azimuth. The interferometer then becomes insensitive to the north–south motion of the satellite, and this enables direct measurement of the satellite's longitudinal motion. Longitudes are monitored continuously, with no delay when orbital manoeuvres occur. The proposed technique is particularly useful when two or more satellites are operating in close proximity and their longitudes must be precisely monitored for safety control. Evidence of a Photo‐Radical Pathway Responsible of the Rearrangement of a Manganese(III)‐Schiff Base Complex in Solution

A new Mn^III‐Schiff base complex, [MnL(OH₂)](ClO₄) ( 1 ) (H₂L = N, N′‐bis‐(3‐Br‐5‐Cl‐salicylidene)‐1, 2‐diimino‐2‐methylethane), an inorganic model of the catalytic center (OEC, Oxygen Evolving Complex) in photosystem II (PSII), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and EPR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, magnetic susceptibility measurement and the study of its redox properties by cyclic and normal pulse voltammetry. This complex mimics reactivity (showing a relevant photolytic activity), and also some structural characteristics (parallel‐mode Mn^III EPR signal from partially assembled OEC cluster) of the natural OEC. The complex 1 was found to rearrange in solution into a crystallographically solved square‐pyramidal complex, [MnLL′] ( 2 ) (HL′ = 6‐bromo‐4‐chloro‐2‐cyanophenol), through a process, which probably liberates radical species (detected by EPR), and provokes a C—N bond cleavage in the ligand. A photo‐radical mechanism is discussed to explain this rearrangement.
