On Some Generalizations and Refinements of a Ky Fan Inequality

In this paper, a Ky Fan inequality and an inequality by Wu and Wang [10] will be generalized. Some new and improved refinements of the Ky Fan inequality will be put forward.AMS Subject Classification (2000) 26D15     

Mixed means and inequalities of Hardy and Levin-Cochran-Lee type for multidimensional balls

Integral means of arbitrary order, with power weights and their companion means, where the integrals are taken over balls in centered at the origin, are introduced and related mixed-means inequalities are derived. These relations are then used in obtaining Hardy and Levin-Cochran-Lee inequalities and their companion results for -dimensional balls. Finally, the best possible constants for these inequalities are obtained.

     

The Functional Law of the Iterated Logarithm for the Empirical Process Based on Sample Means

Consider a double array of i.i.d. random variables with mean and variance and set . Let denote the empirical distribution function of Z_{1, n} ,..., Z _{N, n} and let be the standard normal distribution function. 一种具视差鲁棒性的图像拼接算法

传统的图像拼接算法对视差较为敏感,要求不同帧的拍照位置必须相同。为了解决具视差的图像拼接问题,在对基于平滑变化的仿射拼接算法的分析研究上提出改进算法。通过设计合理规则筛选有效的特征点,再采用非局部平均滤波求解任意点仿射变换参数,最后设计特定的插值方法实现图像融合,从而提高传统拼接算法在时间和拼接效果上的不足。实验结果证明改进算法对具视差变化的图像拼接有较高鲁棒性,可高速实现较好质量的图像拼接。     

Crystal Structure of 6β,7β,14β-Trihydroxy-1α-acetoxy-7α,20-epoxy-ent-kaur-16-en-15-one

6β,7β,14β-Trihydroxy-1α-acetoxy-7α,20-epoxy-ent-kaur-16-en-15-one was isolated from the natural plant of Isodon japonica (Burm.f), Haravar. galaucocalyx (maxim) Hara. The structure was elucidated by means of spectral and chemical studies. In addition, its crystal was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. It crystallizes in triclinic, space group P1, Z = 2, a = 6.3506(4), b = 13.5766(8), c = 15.2777(9) , α = 80.506(1), β = 83.856(1), γ = 88.307(1)o, C25H36O9, Mr = 480.54, V = 1291.64(13) 3, Z = 2, Dc = 1.236 g/cm3, F(000) = 516, μ = 0.093 mm-1, S = 0.988, the final R = 0.0761 and wR = 0.1955. Flack factor is 0.02(19), and the largest peak and deepest hole on the final difference Fourier map are 0.556 and –0.265 e/3, respectively. The X-ray diffraction shows the existence of intermolecular C–H…O (DA) hydrogen bonds between adjacent molecules.
