Deformations of complex structures on Γ/SL 2(C)

LetG be a connected complex semisimple Lie group. Let Γ be a cocompact lattice inG. In this paper, we show that whenG isSL ₂(C), nontrivial deformations of the canonical complex structure onX exist if and only if the first Betti number of the lattice Γ is non-zero. It may be remarked that for a wide class of arithmetic groups Γ, one can find a subgroup Γ′ of finite index in Γ, such that Γ′/[Γ′,Γ′] is finite (it is a conjecture of Thurston that this is true for all cocompact lattices inSL(2, C)). We also show thatG acts trivially on the coherent cohomology groupsH ⁱ(Γ/G, O) for anyi≥0.     

Production and characterization of refractive index gratings in high-birefringence fibre optics

In this work, we report production and modelling of both Bragg gratings and rocking filters in high birefringence fibre optics. Bragg gratings are produced by UV (257.0 nm) external interferometric exposition of a frequency-doubled Ar⁺ ion laser, whereas for rocking filters formation the visible Ar⁺ ion laser lines in 488.0 and 514.5 nm are used in an internal method. The spectral characteristics due to the birefringence properties are studied through numerical methods and experimental techniques. The spectral responsivity of the structures under temperature changes and stress application is presented.     

2+1维SU(2)格点规范场胶球质量的七阶RPA近似

采用无规相近似(RPA)方法,用空心图作为试探波函数,利用Feymann?Hellman定理计算七阶2?+?1维SU(2?)格点规范场的胶球质量,在弱耦合区1/g2?=1.0?–?1.8胶球质量表现出良好的标度行为,基本趋于常数(m/e2?≈1.2?0±0?.0?1)?.     

钙—铈氟碳酸盐矿物中BmSn型新多型的发现及其微结构研究

利用Philips CM-12分析型透射电镜对四川昌北大型稀土矿床中钙铈氟碳酸盐矿物进行了研究。除证实氟碳钙铈矿(BS)存在3R和6R2种多型外,首次发现和研究了氟碳钙铈矿(BS)存在4H、12H、18R、24R、30R和36R6种新多型;伦琴矿(BS_2)1种6R新多型和B_2S新规则混层矿物2H、12R和24R3种中新多型。电子衍射和晶格象分析表明:该类矿物中众多新多型的产生,主要是由于矿物结构单元层沿(?)轴有序堆垛和[CO_3]的定向周期性变化所致。     

AdS/CFT duality at strong coupling

We study the strong-coupling limit of the AdS/CFT correspondence in the framework of a recently proposed fermionic formulation of the Bethe ansatz equations governing the gauge theory anomalous dimensions. We give examples of states that do not follow the Gubser-Klebanov-Polyakov law at a large ’t Hooft coupling λ, in contrast to recent results on the quantum string Bethe equations that are valid in that regime. This result indicates that the fermionic construction cannot be trusted at large λ, although it remains an efficient tool for computing the weak-coupling expansion of anomalous dimensions. Lattice Boltzmann方法模拟多孔介质Klinkenberg效应

格子Boltzmann数值模拟方法是研究复杂的多孔介质结构特别是Klinkenberg效应的有效方法之一，对处理复杂边值问题尤其有效，用格子Boltzmann方法研究了气流穿越多孔介质问题，并将数值计算结果与实验结果进行了比较，结果表明格子Boltzmann方法是数值模拟气流穿越多孔介质问题的有效方法之一。     

UV protection filters by dielectric multilayer thin films on Glass BK-7 and Infrasil 301

The increasing use of Ultraviolet (UV) light in medicine, industrial environments, for cosmetic use, and even in consumer products necessitates that greater attention be paid to the potential hazards of this type of electromagnetic radiation. To avoid any adverse effects of exposure to this type of radiation, four suitable protection filters were produced to block three UV bands (UVA, UVB, and UVC). The design structure of the required dielectric multilayer filters was done by optical thin film technology using the absorbing property of UV radiation for the substrates and dielectric materials. The computer analyses of the multilayer filter formulas were prepared using Macleod Software for the production processes. The deposition technique was achieved on optical substrates (Glass BK-7 and Infrasil 301) by dielectric material combinations including Titanium dioxide (Ti₂O₃), Hafnium dioxide (HfO₂), and Lima (mixture of oxides SiO₂/Al₂O₃); deposition being achieved using an electron beam gun. The output results of the theoretical and experimental transmittance values for spectral band from 200 nm to 800 nm were discussed in four processes. To analyze the suitability for use in ‘real world’ applications, the test pieces were subjected to the durability tests (adhesion, abrasion resistance, and humidity) according to Military Standard MIL-C-675C and MIL-C-48497A.

This paper introduced the concept of L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebra and discussed its properties. Proved that the intersection set of a family of L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebras is a L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebra, that a L-fuzzy sub set of a lattice implication algebra is a L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebra if and only if its every cut set is a sub lattice implication algebra, and that the image and original image of a L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebra under a lattice implication homomorphism are both L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebras.     

关于Noetherian环上拓扑滤子交换性的一个注记

Let R be a ring with identity,and R-fil denote the set of all left topolo-gizing filters on R.In this paper,we give a sufficient condition for the commutativityof R-fil under the hypothesis of left Noetherianness,as well as some examples.
