Pulsed laser deposition of nanostructured Ag films

Ultra-thin (0.5-5 nm) films of Ag have been prepared by pulsed laser deposition in vacuum using a 26 ns KrF excimer laser at 1 J cm⁻². The deposition was controlled using a Langmuir ion probe and a quartz crystal thickness monitor. Transmission electron microscopy showed that the films are not continuous, but are structured on nanometer size scales. Optical absorption spectra showed the expected surface plasmon resonance feature, which shifted to longer wavelength and increased in strength as the equivalent film thickness was increased. It is shown that Maxwell Garnett effective medium theory can be used to calculate the main features of optical absorption spectra.     

The role of alkali content in the devitrification mechanisms of SiO2–Fe2O3–Na2O–PbO SYSTEM

Three batch compositions of pure oxides (SiO₂, Fe₂O₃, PbO, Na₂O) with equivalent SiO₂, Fe₂O₃ and PbO contents and a gradually increased Na₂O content were vitrified through heating in a high temperature electric furnace and subsequent quenching. The resulting vitreous products were thermally treated in order to study the devitrification behaviour, under conditions designated from differential thermal analysis experiments. Depending on the Na₂O content, crystal phase separation gave rise to the growth of acmite and hematite or maghemite. A uniformly phase separated glass-ceramic material, with crystallites of similar size and population density, was produced from devitrification of the vitreous product with the higher Na₂O content.     

轻型汽车后桥半轴断裂件的组织及断口特征

采用光学显微镜和扫描电子显微镜等手段，对某轻型汽车40Cr后桥半轴断裂件的组织及断口特征进行了分析结果表明：半轴在调质处理时的淬火温度不够高，使其表层和心部组织中存在较多的铁素体相，造成了工件最终的硬度和疲劳强度不足，导致半轴在使用中发生扭转疲劳断裂．     

Laser spectroscopic investigation of a new precursor-type polyparaphenylenevinylene

Optical, structural and morphological properties of thin films of polyparaphenylenevinylene (PPV) formed by an alkyl sulfinyl precursor route have been studied. Thin films were fabricated on an optical glass and on quartz glass either by spin-coating of the precursor solution or by layer-by-layer deposition using Langmuir–Blodgett technique. PPV precursor films were also spin-coated on gold-coated glass in order to study thin-film optical parameters by surface plasmon spectroscopy. We have been successful in forming about 40 precursor mono layers on quartz glass by Langmuir–Blodgett technique using optimized surface pressure and dipping conditions. After thermal conversion of the precursor layers good quality fluorescent PPV films of yellow colour have been obtained. Optical characterization of the films was carried out by linear absorption and emission spectroscopy, ellipsometry, and surface plasmon spectroscopy. Structural and morphological studies on the thin films were carried out by using X-ray scattering and atomic force microscopy. Wave-guided travelling-wave laser action has been achieved in a PPV film on quartz glass. The sample was transversally pumped with picosecond laser pulses (wavelength 347.15 nm, duration 35 ps). Laser emission occurred at 550 nm for pump pulse energy densities above .     

激光水下扫描成像系统的图像修正机理

同步扫描系统可以克服后向散射，但同时也产生了两种非线性，一是扫描线速度的非线性，一是由于距离对光能衰减造成的非线性，两种非线性都需要修正，本文从原理上讨论水下激光成像时能量衰减的修正原理与修正方法，并给出仿真结果。     

Changes in the Laser-Induced Fluorescence Spectrum of Myocardium Tissue with Decrease in Its Viability

We investigated the laser-induced fluorescence spectra (LIF) of porcine cardiac tissues with different degrees of viability. The data obtained are compared with the results of routine histological investigations and also with the experiments performed with the use of fluorescent probes. It has been found with a high degree of reliability that the loss of the viability of the myocardium tissue leads to the alteration of its LIF spectra. This can be used for low-invasive rapid control of transplant viability in the process of its preparation and during surgery.     

Submicrometric Displacement and Vibration Measurement Using Optical Feedback in a Fiber Laser

A very simple and efficient technique for the remote sensing of a noncooperative target is presented. This technique is based on the frequency-shifted reinjection of light in a class B laser. Ytterbium- and erbium-doped fiber lasers have both been used to measure displacements with a submicrometric resolution and the vibration power spectrum of an object.     

蓝光相变光盘的多层膜结构设计

为了使光盘获得优良的记录／读出性能并能够长期稳定地使用，必须优化设计相变光盘的多层膜结构。采用自行设计的模拟分析相变光盘读出过程设计软件，从光学角度出发模拟计算了蓝光(405nm)相变光盘的膜层结构，研究了多层膜系的反射率和反射率对比度等光学参量与各层膜厚度和槽深的关系。研究得出的最佳多层膜结构为：下介电层／记录层／上介电层／反射层的厚度对于台记录为100nm／10nm／25nm，／60nm，而对于槽记录则为140nm／15nm／30nm，／60nm，槽深为50nm。模拟计算结果对于将来高密度蓝光相变光盘的制备具有一定的指导意义。     

毛细管放电X光激光装置中的预脉冲电源

 针对目前毛细管放电X 光激光装置产生的预脉冲电流幅值过大、持续时间较短的问题，提出了增加预脉冲开关抑制原有预脉冲，再外加由脉冲成形网络组成的预脉冲发生器，产生所需预脉冲的改造方案。可在主脉冲来临之前产生幅度10~50A，持续时间约17μs的方波预脉冲电流，来满足毛细管放电泵浦类氖氩X光激光实验的需要。
