This paper presents an asymptotic analysis of hierarchical production planning in a manufacturing system with serial machines that are subject to breakdown and repair, and with convex costs. The machines capacities are modeled as Markov chains. Since the number of parts in the internal buffers between any two machines needs to be non-negative, the problem is inherently a state constrained problem. As the rate of change in machines states approaches infinity, the analysis results in a limiting problem in which the stochastic machines capacity is replaced by the equilibrium mean capacity. A method of “lifting” and “modification” is introduced in order to construct near optimal controls for the original problem by using near optimal controls of the limiting problem. The value function of the original problem is shown to converge to the value function of the limiting problem, and the convergence rate is obtained based on some a priori estimates of the asymptotic behavior of the Markov chains. As a result, an error estimate can be obtained on the near optimality of the controls constructed for the original problem. 相似文献

运用牛顿法导出水平悬臂刚性输液管的非线性动力学数学模型.为了对该模型进行理论分析,通过对各个相关实际物理量的量级定性分析,给出了模型中各个物理参数的量级.在此基础上,应用多尺度法首先得到输液管自由振动模态的特征函数,利用悬臂管的边界条件给出了特征值满足的特征方程, 发现管内流体速度可以诱发第一阶模态和第二阶模态3种形式的内共振分别是3∶1、2∶1和1∶1内共振, 从理论上解释了流速诱发水平悬臂输液管系统内共振的机理.由于3∶1内共振所对应的流速最小,因此这种形式的内共振是最先出现的,也是最重要的. 相似文献

In this work we study the existence of Silnikov homoclinicorbits in the averaged equations representing the modal interactionsbetween two modes with zero-to-one internal resonance. The fast mode isparametrically excited near its resonance frequency by a periodicforcing. The slow mode is coupled to the fast mode when the amplitude ofthe fast mode reaches a critical value so that the equilibrium of theslow mode loses stability. Using the analytical solutions of anunperturbed integrable Hamiltonian system, we evaluate a generalizedMelnikov function which measures the separation of the stable and theunstable manifolds of an annulus containing the resonance band of thefast mode. This Melnikov function is used together with the informationof the resonances of the fast mode to predict the region of physicalparameters for the existence of Silnikov homoclinic orbits. 相似文献

Rock salt is considered as a pure aggregate of halite (mineral NaCl) crystals and its behaviour is investigated by a micro–macro approach. The behaviour of the polycrystalline aggregate is deduced from the properties of the constituent halite crystals. A model for the elastoplastic behaviour of halite crystal has been deduced from experimental data available in the literature. The basic equations of the micro–macro model for the polycrystalline medium and the calculation method are then presented and the elastoplastic behaviour of rock salt is investigated by this method. The hardening effects obtained for the polycrystal are found to be very different from those obtained for FCC metal polycrystals. The differences are explained as a consequence of differences of families of glide systems in these crystals. Finally, the internal stresses in the polycrystal are studied in order to elucidate the origin of cracking and damage of the rock salt. 相似文献
