IN SITU IR SPECTROSCOPIC STUDIES OF HCOOH DECOMPOSITION OVER V-TI-O CATALYST

Decomposition of formic acid over V-Ti-O catalysts was studied by in situ IR spectroscopy. Four surface compounds, among which are H-bonded acid, one mono- and two bidentate formates (BF1 and BF2), were identified in the temperature range of 100-190°C. The activation energy and rate of the BF2 decomposition were found equal to those for the CO formation. This equality points to the involvement of BF2 in the HCOOH decomposition into carbon monoxide.     

Polarization Dependence of a Hydrophobized Electrode for Electrosynthesis of a Soluble Product

An equation for a polarization curve of a hydrophobized electrode is proposed for electrosynthesis of a soluble electroactive product in an inner-kinetic mode. The equation contains the concentration of the target product (TP) in an explicit form. The shape of the curve depends on the biquadratic root of the TP concentration and the square root of the ratio between exchange currents of the side and target reactions.     

Conductance studies in amide-water mixtures. II. Sodium salts inN,N-dimethylformamide-water mixtures at 35°C

Conductance data for sodium nitrite, chloride, and acetate in water andN,N-dimethylformamide (DMF)-water mixtures (74.82D42.48) for the concentration range 0.001–0.04N, as well as the densities, viscosities, and dielectric constants of the solvent mixtures at 35°C, are reported. The data have been analyzed by the Fuoss (1975) equation. The existence of a maximum in the viscosity at a 13 mole ratio of DMF and water is indicated. The Walden products for all the three salts pass through a maximum while the equivalent conductances show a minimum with increasing DMF content. The maxima in the Walden product are attributed to the dehydration of ions by the cosolvent (DMF).Part I:Indian J. Chem. 14A, 1015 (1976).Deceased.     

Total synthesis of the marine alkaloid halitulin

The structure of the strongly cytotoxic marine alkaloid halitulin (1) has been confirmed by total synthesis and its absolute configuration determined as (15S). The synthesis follows a strategy previously reported by one of us and uses an efficient preparation of the quinoline-7,8-diol unit by modified Baeyer-Villiger and Skraup reactions. The O-benzyl protecting groups were removed in the last step of the synthesis by transfer hydrogenolysis without concomitant reduction of the quinoline ring. The method can be applied for the synthesis of halitulin analogues.     

Contravariant forms and extremal projectors

Tensor product of irreducible modules of highest weight over a semi-simple quantum group is completely reducible if and only if a natural contravariant form is non-degenerate when restricted to the span of singular vectors. We express this restriction through the extremal projector of the quantum group providing a computationally feasible criterion for complete reducibility of tensor products.     

Infinite lexicographic products

We generalize the lexicographic product of first-order structures by presenting a framework for constructions which, in a sense, mimic iterating the lexicographic product infinitely and not necessarily countably many times. We then define dense substructures in infinite products and show that any countable product of countable transitive homogeneous structures has a unique countable dense substructure, up to isomorphism. Furthermore, this dense substructure is transitive, homogeneous and elementarily embeds into the product. This result is then utilized to construct a rigid elementarily indivisible structure.

考虑自有平台和第三方平台两种分时租赁方式,将汽车质量划分为性能质量和环境质量,构建销售模式、纯分时租赁模式和混合模式下的产品线策略模型,研究制造商产品线策略与商业模式之间的相互作用。研究发现,同品牌产品间竞争和合并效应是分时租赁模式影响产品线策略的两个关键因素。同品牌产品间竞争的加剧和合并效应的增大都会激励企业选择性能更好的车型而忽略其环境表现。分时租赁模式能同时改进利润与产品环境表现,但存在条件:当消费者价格敏感性较低时,使用成本高且合并效应小是实现同时改进的条件;当消费者价格敏感较高时,使用成本低且合并效应小则是同时改进的条件。     

Set controllability of Markov jump switching Boolean control networks and its applications

In this article, a novel method is proposed for investigating the set controllability of Markov jump switching Boolean control networks (MJSBCNs). Specifically, the switching signal is described as a discrete-time homogeneous Markov chain. By resorting to the expectation and switching indicator function, an expectation system is constructed. Based on the expectation system, a novel verifiable condition is established for solving the set reachability of MJSBCNs. With the newly obtained results on set reachability, a necessary and sufficient condition is further derived for the set controllability of MJSBCNs. The obtained results are applied to Boolean control networks with Markov jump time delays. Examples are demonstrated to justify the theoretical results.     

Minimizing Energy Barrier in Intermediate Connection Layer for Monolithic Tandem WPeLEDs with Wide Color Gamut

Perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) show promising prospects in the wide color gamut display owing to their ultra-narrow full width at half maximum (FWHM). However, up to now, all perovskite white LEDs integrated by standard red, green, and blue perovskite emitters, namely, monolithic white PeLEDs (WPeLEDs), have been rarely reported, owing to facing some issues, e.g., solvent incompatibility in solution technique, ion exchange, and energy transfer between different emission centers. Herein, centered on these issues, an optimal intermediate connection layer (ICL) of Po-T2T/LiF/Ag/HAT-CN/MoO₃ is adopted to successfully develop monolithic tandem multicolor PeLEDs and WPeLEDs for the first time. The multicolor PeLEDs can achieve the best external quantum efficiency of 1.8% and the highest luminance of 4844 cd m⁻². Besides, the red/green/blue (R/G/B) monolithic tandem WPeLED shows a standard white International Commission on Illumination coordinate of (0.33, 0.33) and achieves an extremely wide color gamut reaching  National Television Standards Committee of 130%. This study is the first to realize the standard R/G/B co-electroluminescence in a monolithic perovskite device and offers a feasible strategy for developing wide-color gamut perovskite displays.
