We present a generalised treatment of the wall boundary conditions for RANS computation of turbulent flows and heat transfer.
The method blends the integration up to the wall (ItW) with the generalised wall functions (GWF) that include non-equilibrium effects. Wall boundary condition can thus be defined irrespective of whether the wall-nearest
grid point lies within the viscous sublayer, in the buffer zone, or in the fully turbulent region. The computations with fine
and coarse meshes of a steady and pulsating flow in a plane channel, in flow behind a backward-facing step and in a round
impinging jet using the proposed compound wall treatment (CWT) are all in satisfactory agreement with the available experiments and DNS data. The method is recommended for computations
of industrial flows in complex domains where it is difficult to generate a computational grid that will satisfy a priori either

This paper focuses on studying the integration method of a generalized Birkhoffian system.The method of variation on parameters for the dynamical equations of a generalized Birkhoffian system is presented.The procedure for solving the problem can be divided into two steps:the first step,a system of auxiliary equations is constructed and its general solution is given;the second step,the parameters are varied,and the solution of the problem is obtained by using the properties of generalized canonical transformation.The method of variation on parameters for the generalized Birkhoffian system is of universal significance,and we take a nonholonomic system and a nonconservative system as examples to illustrate the application of the results of this paper. 相似文献

Metal forming processes are important technologies for the production of engineering structures. In order to optimize the resulting material properties, it becomes necessary to simulate the entire forming process by taking into account physical effects such as phase transformations. In this work, we concentrate on the phase change from austenite to martensite and present a macroscopic material model, which combines the effect of classical plasticity with the effect of transformation induced plasticity (TRIP). An extensive experimental database for a low-alloy steel is used for parameter identification, thus taking into account the effects of uniaxial compressive and tensile stress on the kinetics of phase transformation at different temperatures. For temperatures below the martensite start temperature with simultaneous stresses above the yield limit, it is difficult to obtain experimental data. Consequently, a numerical homogenization technique is employed for this case. In a further part of this paper, an effective integration scheme is provided, which is implemented into a commercial finite element program. In a finite element simulation, the austenite to martensite phase transformation in a shaft subjected to thermal loading is investigated. 相似文献

提出了一种弹性动力分析的高效局部径向基点插值无网格方法(MLRPI).该方法采用径向基点插值形函数近似解变量,运用局部Petrov-Galerkin法推导出了相应的离散方程,并根据波动模拟的精度要求,得到某一结点的动力方程.然后采用Newmark常平均加速度法和中心差分法相结合的显式积分格式进行时域积分,得到每个自由度的一种解耦递推格式.最后,对一平面应变问题进行了求解,比较了该文提出的解耦MI.RPI方法、常规MLRPI方法和ANSYS有限元方法的精度和计算时间,结果表明解耦MLRPI方法与常规MLRPI方法的精度相当,但计算效率大大提高. 相似文献

直接积分法是求解动力学方程的一种有效方法。应用一种预估-校正的Generalized-α法对结构大变形动力学问题进行分析求解,并与Newmark法和Bathe法进行对比研究。首先预估当前计算步的解,然后以预估值作为起始值进行非线性迭代计算,并对解不断校正,直到满足收敛条件,进入下一时间步的计算。在保证Generalized-α法性能的基础上,简化了非线性迭代公式,便于编程实现。通过壳和实体的大变形动力学算例,证明了本文方法具有较高的稳定性和精度。 相似文献

A hybrid time stepping scheme is developed and implemented by a combination of explicit Runge–Kutta with implicit LU‐SGS scheme at the level of system matrix. In this method, the explicit scheme is applied to those grid cells of blocks that have large local time steps; meanwhile, the implicit scheme is applied to other grid cells of blocks that have smaller allowable local time steps in the same flow field. As a result, the discretized governing equations can be expressed as a compound of explicit and implicit matrix operator. The proposed method has been used to compute the steady transonic turbulent flow over the RAE 2822 airfoil. The numerical results are found to be in excellent agreement with the experimental data. In the validation case, the present scheme saved at least 50% of the memory resources compared with the fully implicit LU‐SGS. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

An analytical method was derived for the thermal consolidation of layered, saturated porous half-space to variable thermal loading with time. In the coupled governing equations of linear thermoelastic media, the influences of thermo-osmosis effect and thermal filtration effect were introduced. Solutions in Laplace transform space were first obtained and then numerically inverted. The responses of a double-layered porous space subjected to exponential decaying thermal loading were studied. The influences of the differences between the properties of the two layers (e.g., the coefficient of thermal consolidation, elastic modulus) on thermal consolidation were discussed. The studies show that the coupling effects of displacement and stress fields on temperature field can be completely neglected, however, the thermo-osmosis effect has an obvious influence on thermal responses. 相似文献
