Charge transport in poly(methylphenylsilane): The case for superimposed disorder and polaron effects

Careful analysis of the temperature dependence of the hole mobility in poly (methylphenylsilane) indicates that the functional dependence is between an Arrhenius law and a ln μ ∝ T?2 law as predicted by a model of disorder-controlled hopping. This is attributed to the superposition of disorder and polaron effects. A method is presented for separating the two contributions. The evolution of time-of-flight photocurrent transients with decreasing temperature is consistent with the disorder parameter derived from the temperature dependence of the mobility. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献

The performance requirements of a RF receiver for a packet division multiple access technology (PDMA) terminal and the corresponding calculations under the true PDMA signal excitations are presented in the paper. The output signal-to-noise power ratio, the reference receiving sensitivity, the maximum input RF power and the dynamic range, the out-of-channel selectivity and the third-order inter-modulation/cross-modulation characteristics are all analyzed for the PDMA terminal RF receiver in detail. We report simulations concerning optical amplification in Er:Ti:LiNbO3 curved waveguides. The derivation and the evaluation of the spectral optical gain, the spectral noise figure, the amplified spontaneous emission photon number, and the signal to noise ratio are performed under the small gain approximation. The simulations show the evolution of these parameters under various pump regimes, Er concentration profiles and waveguide lengths. There is a strong interest in the submillimeter astronomy community to increase the IF bandwidth of SIS receivers in order to better facilitate broad spectral linewidth and continuum observations of extragalactic sources. However, with an increase in receiver IF bandwidth there is a decrease in the mixer stability. This in turn effects the integration efficiency and quality of the measurement. In order to better understand the noise mechanisms responsible for reducing the receiver stability, we employed a technique first described by D.W. Allan and later elaborated upon by Schieder et al. In this paper we address a variety of factors that degrade the noise stability of SIS receivers. The goal of this exercise is to make recommendations aimed at maximizing SIS receiver stability. 相似文献

对发散光束抽运的光参量啁啾脉冲放大器的增益带宽进行了系统的理论研究.采用空间傅里叶变换和四阶Runge-Kutta算法,分别模拟了非衍射极限情况下的高斯光束和空间频谱为矩形的发散光束作为抽运光时的增益曲线.结果表明:不管是在可见光或是在近红外光谱区,用发散光束均可以明显地改善光参量啁啾脉冲放大系统的增益带宽.选取合适的发散角和抽运光强,可以获得高增益、宽谱带的信号光输出.
