This paper presents a high-speed digital scan converter (DSC) capable of providing more than 400 images per second, which is necessary to examine the activities of the mouse heart whose rate is 5-10 beats per second. To achieve the desired high-speed performance in cost-effective manner, the DSC developed adopts a linear interpolation algorithm in which two nearest samples to each object pixel of a monitor are selected and only angular interpolation is performed. Through computer simulation with the Field II program, its accuracy was investigated by comparing it to that of bilinear interpolation known as the best algorithm in terms of accuracy and processing speed. The simulation results show that the linear interpolation algorithm is capable of providing an acceptable image quality, which means that the difference of the root mean square error (RMSE) values of the linear and bilinear interpolation algorithms is below 1%, if the sample rate of the envelope samples is at least four times higher than the Nyquist rate for the baseband component of echo signals. The designed DSC was implemented with a single FPGA (Stratix EP1S60F1020C6, Altera Corporation, San Jose, CA) on a DSC board that is a part of a high-speed ultrasound imaging system developed. The temporal and spatial resolutions of the implemented DSC were evaluated by examining its maximum processing time with a time stamp indicating when an image is completely formed and wire phantom testing, respectively. In this work we follow the ideas proposed by Barbero et al. As an application of the model, we study a classical perfect fluid
cosmological universe described in a flat Robertson–Walker background metric. Mathematical derivations of the equations predict
a non-singular scale factor for the space-time in the both of dust and radiation dominated states where value of the Brans–Dicke
parameter is fixed, but there is still an arbitrary parameter which should be determined by the boundary values of the cosmological
system. Furthermore its classical cosmological vacuum solutions is obtained as a non-singular model with a fixed Brans–Dicke
parameter. Although there is obtained a singular perfect fluid cosmological solution which may not be suitable, because in

We provide results allowing to state, by the simple inspection of suitable classes of posets (propositional Kripke frames), that the corresponding intermediate propositional logics are maximal among the ones which satisfy the disjunction property. Starting from these results, we directly exhibit, without using the axiom of choice, the Kripke frames semantics of 2No maximal intermediate propositional logics with the disjunction property. The Lorentz covariant statistical physics and thermodynamics is formulated within the preferred frame approach. The transformation laws for geometrical and mechanical quantities such as volume and pressure as well as the Lorentz-invariant measure on the phase space are found using Lorentz transformations in absolute synchronization. Next, the probability density and partition function are investigated using the preferred frame approach, and the transformation laws for internal energy, entropy, temperature and other thermodynamical potentials are established. The Lorentz covariance of basic thermodynamical relations, including Clapeyron's equation and Maxwell's relations is shown. In this note we consider continuous-time Weyl-Heisenberg (Gabor) frame expansions with rational oversampling. We present a necessary and sufficient condition on a compactly supported function g(t) generating a Weyl-Heisenberg frame for L2 () for its minimal dual (Wexler-Razdual) 0 (t) to be compactly supported. We furthermore provide a necessary and sufficient condition for a band-limited function g(t) generating a Weyl-Heisenberg frame for L2 () to have a band-limited minimal dual 0 (t). As a consequence of these conditions, we show that in the cases of integer oversampling and critical sampling a compactly supported (band-limited) g(t) has a compactly supported (band-limited) minimal dual 0(t) if and only if the Weyl-Heisenberg frame operator is a multiplication operator in the time (frequency) domain.
