The reflexivity, the (semi-)ordinariness, the dimension of dual varieties and the structure of Gauss maps are discussed for Segre varieties, where a Segre variety is the image of the product of two or more projective spaces under Segre embedding. A generalization is given to a theorem of A. Hefez and A. Thorup on Segre varieties of two projective spaces. In particular, a new proof is given to a theorem of F. Knop, G. Menzel, I. M. Gelfand, M.M. Kapranov and A. V. Zelevinsky that states a necessary and sufficient condition for Segre varieties to have codimension one duals. On the other hand, a negative answer is given to a problem raised by S. Kleiman and R. Piene as follows: For a projective variety of dimension at least two, do the Gauss map and the natural projection from the conormal variety to the dual variety have the same inseparable degree? 相似文献

Integration of Cu with low k dielectrics provided solution to reduce both resistance-capacitance time delay and parasitic capacitance of BEOL interconnections for 130 nm and beyond technology node. The motivation of this work is to study and improve electrical and reliability performance of two-level Cu/CVD low k SiOCH metallization from the results of diffusion barrier deposition schemes. Barrier deposition schemes are (a) high-density-plasma 250 Å Ta; (b) surface treatment of forming gas followed by high-density-plasma 250 Å Ta and (c) bi-layer of 100 Å Ta(N)/150 Å Ta. In this work, we demonstrated the superior and competency of high-density-plasma Ta deposition for Cu/CVD low k metallization and achieved excellent electrical and reliability results. Wafers fabricated with high-density-plasma Ta barrier scheme resulted in the best electrical yields, >90% for testing vehicles of dense via chains (via size=200 nm) and interspersed comb structures (width/space=200 nm/200 nm). Dielectric breakdown strength of the interspersed comb structures obtained at electric field of 0.3 MV/cm was ∼4 MV/cm. 相似文献

The fuzzy-valued Lagrangian function of fuzzy optimization problem via the concept of fuzzy scalar (inner) product is proposed. A solution concept of fuzzy optimization problem, which is essentially similar to the notion of Pareto solution in multiobjective optimization problems, is introduced by imposing a partial ordering on the set of all fuzzy numbers. Convex relaxations can be used to obtain lower bounds on the optimal objective function value of nonconvex quadratically constrained quadratic programs. However, for some problems, significantly better bounds can be obtained by minimizing the restricted Lagrangian function for a given estimate of the Lagrange multipliers. The difficulty in utilizing Lagrangian duality within a global optimization context is that the restricted Lagrangian is often nonconvex. Minimizing a convex underestimate of the restricted Lagrangian overcomes this difficulty and facilitates the use of Lagrangian duality within a global optimization framework. A branch-and-bound algorithm is presented that relies on these Lagrangian underestimates to provide lower bounds and on the interval Newton method to facilitate convergence in the neighborhood of the global solution. Computational results show that the algorithm compares favorably to the Reformulation–Linearization Technique for problems with a favorable structure. 相似文献

Some of the key cohomological features of the two (1 + 1)-dimensional (2D) free Abelian- and self-interacting non-Abelian gauge theories (having no interaction with matter fields) are briefly discussed first in the language of symmetry properties of the Lagrangian densities and the same issues are subsequently addressed in the framework of superfield formulation on the four (2 + 2)-dimensional supermanifold. Special emphasis is laid on the on-shell- and off-shell nilpotent (co-)BRST symmetries that emerge after the application of (dual) horizontality conditions on the supermanifold. The (anti-)chiral superfields play a very decisive role in the derivation of the on-shell nilpotent symmetries. The study of the present superfield formulation leads to the derivation of some new symmetries for the Lagrangian density and the symmetric energy-momentum tensor. The topological nature of the above theories is captured in the framework of superfield formulation and the geometrical interpretations are provided for some of the topologically interesting quantities. 相似文献
