Summary Considered here are model equations for weakly nonlinear and dispersive long waves, which feature general forms of dispersion and pure power nonlinearity. Two variants of such equations are introduced, one of Korteweg-de Vries type and one of regularized long-wave type. It is proven that solutions of the pure initial-value problem for these two types of model equations are the same, to within the order of accuracy attributable to either, on the long time scale during which nonlinear and dispersive effects may accumulate to make an order-one relative difference to the wave profiles.This research was supported in part by the National Science Foundation. 将Faltinsen等提出的多维模态理论应用到求解圆柱贮箱液体非线性晃动问题中.根据Narimanov-Moiseiev的三阶渐近假设关系,通过选取主导模态以及确定它们的阶次关系,将一般形式的无穷维模态系统降为五维渐近模态系统,即描述自由液面波高的广义坐标之间相互耦合的二阶非线性常微分方程组.通过对这个模态系统的数值积分,得到了与以前的理论分析和实验结果相吻合的非线性现象.研究结果表明,多维模态方法是用来求解液体非线性晃动动力学的一个很好的工具.在我们的下一步工作中,将继续发展这种方法,用来研究更为复杂的晃动问题.  相似文献

Computational dispersion properties of all vertically staggered grids, which are presently available, are analysed in terms of frequency and group velocity components using the second-order centre difference scheme for a nonhydrostatic anelastic approximation system with a general method. The inertial-gravitational waves with a horizontal scale of a hundred-, ten- and one-kilometres are considered. The comparison analysis shows that the Charny-Phillips (CP) and Lorenz grids are suitable for waves at all abovementioned horizontal scales, while the Lorenz time staggered and Charny-Phillips time staggered grids are applicable only to waves with a horizontal scale less than 10 km. The unstaggered (N) grid is not suitable for simulating waves at any horizontal scale. In an idealised flow numerical test, the result on the CP grid has much less error than that on the N grid.  相似文献

It becomes increasingly clear that non-uniform distribution of immiscible fluids in porous rock is particularly relevant to seismic wave dispersion. White proposed a patchy saturation model in 1975, in which spherical gas pockets were located at the center of a liquid saturated cube. For an extremely light and compressible inner gas, the physical properties can be approximated by a vacuum with White's model. The model successfully analyzes the dispersion phenomena of a P-wave velocity in gas-watersaturated rocks. In the case of liquid pocket saturation, e.g., an oil-pocket surrounded by a water saturated host matrix, the light fluid-pocket assumption is doubtful, and few works have been reported in White's framework. In this work, Poisson's ratio, the bulk modulus, and the effective density of a dual-liquid saturated medium are formulated for the heterogeneous porous rocks containing liquid-pockets. The analysis of the difference between the newly derived bulk modulus and that of White's model shows that the effects of liquid-pocket saturation do not disappear unless the porosity approaches zero. The inner pocket fluid can no longer be ignored. The improvements of the P-wave velocity predictions are illustrated with two examples taken from experiments, i.e., the P-wave velocity in the sandstone saturated by oil and brine and the P-wave velocity for heavy oils and stones at different temperatures.  相似文献

基于微态(Micromorphic) 连续介质理论,提出了针对类石墨烯二维原子晶体的新力学模型. 该模型以有限大小的布拉维单胞为基元体,考虑基元粒子的宏观位移和微观变形,依据微态理论基本方程,推导了全局坐标系下模型的主导方程. 然后针对布拉维单胞中含有两个原子的类石墨烯晶体,通过分析单胞中声子振动模式与基元体自由度的关系,获得了微态形式下声子色散关系的久期方程,并根据二维晶体声子色散特性对久期方程进行了简化,进而确定了类石墨烯晶体模型的本构方程. 最后,以石墨烯和单层六方氮化硼为例,利用简化的表达式拟合了它们面内声子色散关系数据,计算了模型材料的常数,石墨烯模型的等效杨氏模量、泊松比分别为1.05 TPa 和0.197,氮化硼分别为0.766 TPa 和0.225,均与已有的实验值相符合.   相似文献

监测和识别原型水泵水轮机无叶区的流动状态,对于保证抽水蓄能电站的运行安全性和稳定性有非常重要的意义。本文提出了一种基于经验小波变换、散布熵和卷积神经网络原理的流态特征提取和识别方法,首先使用经验小波变换对压力脉动信号进行分解,然后通过计算各分量的散布熵提取流态相关特征,最后通过利用特征–标签对训练卷积神经网络得到的智能识别模型,实现了无叶区流态识别。利用从国内某水泵水轮机采集到的发电、抽水和空转工况下实测压力脉动信号对该方法进行了测试,测试的平均准确率达到了94.84%,证明了该方法的有效性。

Strong form collocation with radial basis approximation, called the radial basis collocation method (RBCM), is introduced for the numerical solution of elastodynamics. In this work, the proper weights for the boundary collocation equations to achieve the optimal convergence in elastodynamics are first derived. The von Neumann method is then introduced to investigate the dispersion characteristics of the semidiscrete RBCM equation. Very small dispersion error (< 1%) in RBCM can be achieved compared to linear and quadratic finite elements. The stability conditions of the RBCM spatial discretization in conjunction with the central difference temporal discretization are also derived. We show that the shape parameter of the radial basis functions not only has strong influence on the dispersion errors, it also has profound influence on temporal stability conditions in the case of lumped mass. Further, our stability analysis shows that, in general, a larger critical time step can be used in RBCM with central difference temporal discretization than that for finite elements with the same temporal discretization. Our analysis also suggests that although RBCM with lumped mass allows a much larger critical time step than that of RBCM with consistent mass, the later offers considerably better accuracy and should be considered in the transient analysis. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, travelling wave solutions for the nonlinear dispersion Drinfel’d–Sokolov system (called D(m,n) system) are studied by using the Weierstrass elliptic function method. As a result, more new exact travelling wave solutions to the D(m,n) system are obtained including not only all the known solutions found by Xie and Yan but also other more general solutions for different parameters m,n. Moreover, it is also shown that the D(m,1) system with linear dispersion possess compacton and solitary pattern solutions. Besides that, it should be pointed out that the approach is direct and easily carried out without the aid of mathematical software if compared with other traditional methods. We believe that the method can be widely applied to other similar types of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) or systems in mathematical physics.  相似文献
