Recently, Mehrotra [3] proposed a predictor—corrector primal—dual interior-point algorithm for linear programming. At each iteration, this algorithm utilizes a combination of three search directions: the predictor, the corrector and the centering directions, and requires only one matrix factorization. At present, Mehrotra's algorithmic framework is widely regarded as the most practically efficient one and has been implemented in the highly successful interior-point code OB1 [2]. In this paper, we study the theoretical convergence properties of Mehrotra's interior-point algorithmic framework. For generality, we carry out our analysis on a horizontal linear complementarity problem that includes linear and quadratic programming, as well as the standard linear complementarity problem. Under the monotonicity assumption, we establish polynomial complexity bounds for two variants of the Mehrotra-type predictor—corrector interior-point algorithms. In this article, we establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions to the coupled reaction–diffusion models using Banach fixed point theorem. The Galerkin finite element method is used for the approximation of solutions, and an a priori error estimate is derived for such approximations. A scheme is proposed by combining the Crank–Nicolson and the predictor–corrector methods for the time discretization. Some numerical examples are considered to illustrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed scheme. It is found that the scheme is second‐order convergent. In addition, nonuniform grids are used in some cases to enhance the accuracy of the scheme. 相似文献

A predictor–corrector (P–C) scheme based on the use of rational approximants of second‐order to the matrix‐exponential term in a three‐time level reccurence relation is applied to the nonlinear Klein‐Gordon equation. This scheme is accelerated by using a modification (MPC) in which the already evaluated values are used for the corrector. Both the predictor and the corrector scheme are analyzed for local truncation error and stability. The proposed method is applied to problems possessing periodic, kinks and single, double‐soliton waves. A conformal optical system refers to the one whose first optical surface conforms to both aerodynamic and imaging requirements. Appropriate correction is required because a conformal dome induces significant aberrations. This paper intends to explain that an effective solution to the easy-fabrication conic surface corrector compensates aberrations induced by a coaxial aspheric dome. A conformal optical system with an ellipsoid MgF2 conformal dome, which has a fineness ratio of 2.0, is designed as an example. The field of regard angle is pm 30 degrees with a pm 2 degree instantaneous field of view. The system's ultimate value of modulation transfer function is close to the diffraction limit, which indicates that the performance of the conic conformal optical system with a fixed conic corrector meets the imaging requirements. 相似文献
