The kinetics of electroreduction of Pd(II) complexes with -alanine, Pd(ala)2, is studied on a rotating Pd disk electrode in solutions of pH 8–13 containing large excess of -alanine and various supporting electrolytes (NaF, Na2SO4, NaClO4). On a Pd electrode, complexes Pd(ala)2 undergo reduction at potentials much more negative than on an Hg electrode. This is attributed to the chemisorption of water on the Pd electrode, which hampers adsorption of Pd(ala)2 that take part in the slow electrochemical stage. As with the Hg electrode, perchlorate ions hinder the Pd(ala)2 reduction on a Pd electrode. Studying adsorption of Pd(ala)2 on a Pd electrode is hampered by parallel processes of hydrogen adsorption and absorption. 相似文献

Acetylation of (±)-1-phenylnon-2-yn-1-ol, (±)-1-phenylhept-1-yn-3-ol, and (±)-1-phenylundec-4-yn-3-ol ((±)-5) in the presence of lipase from Candida cylindracea (CCL) proceeds slowly to give products with ee 20%. The acetates of these alcohols are hydrolyzed in the presence of porcine pancreatic lipase (PPL) equally unsatisfactorily. The (6-arene)tricarbonylchromium complex of alcohol (±)-5 is acetylated in the presence of CCL up to 22% conversion to give (R)-acetate whose oxidative decomplexation followed by saponification results in alcohol (R)-(–)-5 with ee 95%. The configuration of alcohols (–)-5 and (+)-5 was determined by NMR spectroscopy of their esters with (R)- and (S)-Mosher"s acids. 相似文献

A novel series of the formula NdSrNi1−xCuxO4−δ were synthesized for various values of x ranging from 0 to 1 in 1 atm of O2 gas flow using conventional solid-state methods and were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction and electrical resistivity measurements. The compounds have been shown to adopt the K2NiF4-type structure. The oxygen stoichiometry of the compounds was determined from thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA). An analysis of the micro-structure of the neodymium strontium nickel copper oxide is described. All the samples were semi-conducting from room temperature down to 77 K. The effect of Cu2+ incorporation on the structural and electrical properties of NdSrNi1−xCuxO4−δ, 0?x?1, are discussed in terms of Jahn-Teller distortion of the (Ni/Cu)O6 octahedra and mixed valence character of copper. 相似文献

New calix[4]arenes, di- and tetrasubstituted at the lower rim, with different functional groups were synthesized. They were studied as carriers of a series of dicarboxylic and -hydroxycarboxylic acids through a liquid impregnated membrane. The calix[4]arenes under study are capable of molecular recognition of oxalic acid in the series of structurally similar dicarboxylic and -hydroxycarboxylic acids. The regularities found make it possible to change purposefully the receptor ability of 1,3-disubstituted calix[4]arenes by variation of the nature of substituents. 相似文献

Aqueous titanate sols were prepared by reactions of titanium tetraisopropoxide (TIP) with -hydroxycarboxylic acids in water. IR and Raman spectra, and elemental analyses of the precipitates obtained from the sols revealed that the carboxylates were chelated to titanium but the Ti species were polymerized to form a cluster that had a colloidal nature. Spin-coating of titania (TiO2) thin films from these sols was also examined. Interestingly, it was found that (004) preferentially oriented anatase films with refractive index of 2.54 were obtained from TIP-lactic acid-NH3 (1:1:1, molar ratio) aqueous sol. This crystallographic orientation was characteristic of the TIP-lactic acid-NH3 (1:1:1) system, and was not affected by the kinds of substrates used and the heating rate of the film. TEM observation indicated that small anatase grains had already formed at 200°C. Therefore, the crystallographic orientation might depend strongly on the structure of the chemical species of the precursor solutions. 相似文献

-Alumina was synthesized by a sol-gel method with the aluminum ion hydrolysis control performed by urea. The initial saturated Al3+/urea solution presented urea coordinated with the aluminum ion, as shown in the 13C NMR and 27Al NMR spectra and longitudinal relaxation times, T
1, from the latter. The substitution of water molecules in the Al3+ coordination shell by urea controlled the hydrolysis process and provided an extensive nucleation during the initial steps of the aluminum hydroxide formation due to urea thermolysis at 90°C. The resulting sol, composed of Al(OH)3 nanoparticles, coalesced and became a transparent gel permeated by a solution of urea and the polycation ion [Al13O4(OH)24(H2O)12]7+. The freshly prepared gel was transformed, under heating at 300°C, directly to -alumina, characterized by FTIR, 27Al-MAS-NMR and SBET techniques, without - or -phases, as a consequence of the high degree of homogeneity of the -alumina precursor. 相似文献

Benzophenone analog 3 has been synthesized and characterized by the X-ray diffraction (XRD) method. The compound crystallizes in a monoclinic space group P21/c with cell parameters a = 7.701(8) Å, b = 7.151(5) Å, c= 28.323(3) Å, = 104.639(4)°, Z = 4. The structure exhibits intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonding of the type N–HO, C–HO, and N–HN. The molecules are interlinked through hydrogen bonds forming an infinite chain. A delayed coincidence method, time-interval analysis (TIA), has been applied to successive – decay events on the millisecond time-scale. Such decay events are part of the 220Rn216Po (T1/2 145 ms) (Th-series) and 219Rn215Po (T1/2 1.78 ms) (Ac-series). By using TIA in addition to measurement of 226Ra (U-series) from -spectrometry by liquid scintillation counting (LSC), two natural decay series could be identified and separated. The TIA detection efficiency was improved by using the pulse-shape discrimination technique (PSD) to reject -pulses, by solvent extraction of Ra combined with simple chemical separation, and by purging the scintillation solution with dry N2 gas. The U- and Th-series together with the Ac-series were determined, respectively, from alpha spectra and TIA carried out immediately after Ra-extraction. Using the 221Fr217At (T1/2 32.3 ms) decay process as a tracer, overall yields were estimated from application of TIA to the 225Ra (Np-decay series) at the time of maximum growth. The present method has proven useful for simultaneous determination of three radioactive decay series in environmental samples. 相似文献

Dense planar and tubular oxygen separation membranes of La0.6Ca0.4Fe0.75Co0.25O3– were investigated as reactors for the partial oxidation (POX) of methane to syngas. Their permeation properties were measured in an air/argon
pO2 gradient as a function of temperature. At 900 °C, the oxygen flux through a 1.26-mm-thick membrane was 0.075 mol/cm2·s and through a 0.25-mm-thick tube, 0.24 mol/cm2·s.For the POX measurements, a catalyst was added to the membrane and methane was introduced on the argon side. This resulted in a gradual increase of the oxygen flux with increasing concentration of methane, reaching 2 mol/cm2·s at 900 °C with pure methane. For the planar reactor, the CO selectivity reached 99% and the CH4 conversion 75% at 918 °C with pure methane. For the tubular reactor, the CO selectivity and CH4 conversion were 83 and 99%, respectively, under the same conditions.
