Squig intervals are a class of hierarchically constructed fractals introduced by the author. They can be visualized as the final outcome upon a straight interval of a suitable cascade of local perturbative eddies ruled by two processes called decimation and separation. Their theory is summarized and their scope is extended in several new directions, especially by introducing new forms of separation. Squig intervals are generalized in two dimensions, with fractal dimensions ranging from 1.2886 to 1.589. Squig sheets are constructed in three dimensional space with fractal dimensions ranging from 8/3 up. They should prove useful in modeling the fractal surfaces associated with turbulence and related phenomena. Squig intervals are constructed in three dimensions. Nonsymmetric eddies and the resulting squigs are tackled. Squig trees and intervals are drawn on unconventional lattices, either in the plane or in a prescribed fractal surface. Peyriére'sM systems are mentioned: their study includes the proof that the informal renormalization argument (involving a transfer matrix) is exact for squigs.Presented at theThird Conference on Fractals: Fractals in the Physical Sciences, held at the National Bureau of Standards, Gaithersburg, Maryland, on November 20–23, 1983.The reader's attention should be drawn to the fact that the second and later printings of this book include an update chapter and additional references. Performances of Ga-and N-polarity solar cells(SCs) adopting gradient-In-composition intrinsic layer(IL) are compared.It is found the gradient ILs can greatly weaken the negative influence from the polarization effects for the Gapolarity case,and the highest conversion efficiency(η) of 2.18%can be obtained in the structure with a linear increase of In composition in the IL from bottom to top.This is mainly attributed to the adsorptions of more photons caused by the higher In composition in the IL closer to the p-GaN window layer.In contrast,for the N-polarity case,the SC structure with an InGaN IL adopting fixed In composition prevails over the ones adopting the gradient-In-composition IL,where the highest η of 9.28%can be obtained at x of 0.62.N-polarity SC structures are proven to have greater potential preparations in high-efficient InGaN SCs.  相似文献

Results of calculating the major overall characteristics of both an individual cathode and the whole hydrogen-oxygen (air) fuel cell with Nafion and platinum are shown. The effect of varying the parameters of both the active layer and the polymeric-electrolyte membrane on the overall characteristics of such a fuel cell is analyzed. The mechanisms of operation of active layers of hydrophobized cathodes and cathodes containing Nafion are compared. These two electrode types demonstrate a qualitative difference in the current generation mechanisms. As a result, the current in cathodes with Nafion increases more actively with the increase in over-potential (in proportion with exp [η0/2], where η0 is the cathodic overpotential) as compared with the case of hydrophobized cathodes (here the current ~ exp[η0/4]). This explains the fact that a fuel cell with Nafion demonstrates so high power characteristics as compared with a fuel cell with hydrophobized electrodes and liquid electrolyte.  相似文献

本文提出了一个重叠端口通道的四、五层布线算法,算法的目标是占用尽可能少的通道布线行数,为此算法中采用了扩展布线的概念,将部分线网分配到器件区域中进行布线,在通道内部布线时,引入了重叠端口通道的垂直约束矩阵的概念,并用它来避发式算法的线网布线顺序,算法在任何情况下都能保证布线的成功,从运行实例上来看,算法速度很快,而且结果都是近似最优的(或者是最优,或者是比最优解多一个布线行)。  相似文献

根据动态核极化核磁共振成像技术对回旋振荡管的要求,设计了130 GHz 回旋振荡管的注波互作用电路,基于线性理论对互作用电路进行了研究并选择了合适的工作点,分析了电路的频率调节特性。利用相对论电子回旋脉塞非线性理论对互作用系统进行了模拟和计算,优化了工作参数,计算了磁场及电子注参数对输出功率及效率的影响。最后,用粒子模拟方法进行了模拟并与非线性理论结果进行了比较,两者符合得很好。模拟结果显示,当电压为10 kV、电流为0.3 A、磁场强度由2.34 T 增加到2.41 T 时,输出功率由1310 W 减小到230 W,对应的效率分别为43.6%和7.7%,振荡管的频率可调范围约为2.7 GHz。  相似文献

乳腺癌是女性致死率最高的疾病之一,严重威胁女性的身体健康。目前,病理医生判断病症等级,仍通过观察病理切片中的增殖细胞个数,具有很大的主观性。本文提出了一种将RGB彩色空间和HSV彩色空间模型结合的方法,采用各分量的色度特征,通过量化分析建立色度特征方程,实现从病理图像中检测识别乳腺癌增殖细胞。经20组乳腺癌病理切片图像验证,准确性达到了94.2%,优于单色彩空间模型方法约4%,本文提出方法能够更精确识别乳腺癌细胞,为乳腺癌细胞识别提供了一种新方法。  相似文献

A method for performing neutron radiography and locally resolved impedance spectroscopy simultaneously in situ in an operating polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) is presented. The new method provides concurrently spatially resolved information about the local cell performance, the locally limiting processes, and the liquid water distribution. Information about the impact of water on cell performance and limiting processes can be gained in situ on a local scale in an operating PEFC. The method was applied to a PEFC operated on pure H2/O2 in co-flow mode under low humidity operating conditions. The results show that in co-flow mode strong flooding and severe drying can occur at the very same time in different sections of a PEFC.  相似文献

We have studied the effect of silicon nanocrystals (SiNCs) as a third component on performance of organic bulk heterojunction solar cells composed of poly[2-methoxy,5-(2'-ethylhexyloxy)-l,4-phenylene vinylene] (MEH- PPV):[6,6]-phenyI-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) blend film. By adding suitable amounts of SiNCs into MEH-PPV:PCBM blend, the device performance such as external quantum efficiency, short circuit current density (Js(), and power conversion efficiency (PCE) improved. Incorporation of 2.5% SiNCs in the blend led to 13.6% improvement of Jsc, which in turn resulted in 18% improvement of PCE up to 2.28%. The improved performance was mainly due to the improvements both in the charge generation from the interface of MEH-PPV/SiNCs and the charge collection at the cathode.  相似文献
