COMPACT COUPLED LINEAR TAPERED LINE BANDPASS FILTER WITH TWO TRANSMISSION ZEROS

A new compact bandpass filter composed of two coupled linear tapered line resonators (LTLRs) is designed. The two resonators are arranged in different layers. The filter has two transmission zeros on both sides of the passband. It has small size and steep response below its passband. It is also shown that this filter has 0.6 dB low insertion loss at the centre frequency and 10.5% 3dB bandwidth. A rational approximation and its applications to nonlinear partial differential equations on the whole line

An orthogonal system of rational functions is discussed. Some inverse inequalities, imbedding inequalities and approximation results are obtained. Two model problems are considered. The stabilities and convergences of proposed rational spectral schemes and rational pseudospectral schemes are proved. The techniques used in this paper are also applicable to other problems on the whole line. Numerical results show the efficiency of this approach.

The authors achieved the temporal coherent control in an Er^3＋ doped telluride glass, one kind of disordered solids. The upconversion at 670 nm was modulated and the dephasing time was simulated as 300 fs. Moreover, the photon echo signal gave the dephasing time due to the phonon interaction. The agreement between the two data indicates that the interaction between the wavepacket and the phonon leads to the fast disappearance of wavepackets interference, which is helpful for the tech- nique to be applied to the disordered solids.     

用NILT导出的传输线瞬态分析模型

K Singhal与J Vlach的NILT(数值Laplace反变换) 技术是端接线性负载传输线分析的一种有效方法.本文利用这一NILT技术,导出了传输线的时域离散模型,由此可进行端接任意负载传输线的瞬态分析.这一模型毋须象通常的频域方法那样对传输线作有理逼近,因而不存在由此带来的数值问题,而计算量与它们相当.文中分别给出了均匀与非均匀传输线的处理,并用实例作了验证.     

Simulation of the Action of a Permeable Barrier on an Ideal Incompressible Channel Flow

Plane ideal incompressible flow in a rectangular channel partitioned by a thin permeable barrier (lattice) is considered. In flowing through the lattice the stream suddenly (jumpwise) changes direction and loses energy. The flow is assumed to be vortical; the vorticity is discontinuous on the lattice. A mathematical formulation of the problem for the stream function is proposed in the form of a nonlinear elliptic equation with coefficients discontinuous on the lattice line. A numerical solution is constructed using the finite-element iteration method. The results of the numerical simulation show how the flow velocity profile in the channel can be controlled by means of permeable barriers.

一种高效的硬布线控制CPU的设计方法

文章提出了一种硬布线逻辑CPU的设计流程，即以CPU设计工具软件LDF为核心的设计方法，其主要目的的提高硬布线逻辑CPU的设计效率。定义了一种用于描述硬布线控制逻辑的语言-MCDL，对总线优化问题进行了研究，并且给出了解决总线优化问题的近似算法。

Stabilizing management of fluctuating resources

We consider a resource management problem in which the management objective is to minimize fluctuations in resource stocks. Stabilizing management policies constitute the designing of memoryless state feedback control strategies for a discrete time resource model which contains unknown but bounded fluctuations. Sensitivity analysis for discrete optimal control problems

We present local sensitivity analysis for discrete optimal control problems with varying endpoints in the case when the customary regularity of boundary conditions can be violated. We study the behavior of the optimal solutions subject to parametric perturbations of the problem.
