掺铒重金属氧氟硅铋酸盐玻璃的光谱性质

研究了重金属氧氟硅铋酸盐玻璃 (50-x)SiO2 xBi2O3 50PbF2(x=0, 3, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15 mol%)中Er3+离子的吸收光谱、荧光光谱、荧光半高宽、荧光 寿命和热稳定性能.应用Judd Ofelt理论计算了玻璃的强度参数Ωt(t=2,4,6)，应用 McCumber计算了能级4I13/2→4I15/2跃迁的受激发射截面. 结果发现荧光半高宽与Ω6有较大联系，Ω6越大，荧光半高宽越宽.对Er3+ 关键词： 重金属氧氟硅铋酸盐玻璃 光谱性质 Er3+离子 Judd Ofelt参数     

Enhancement of phase conjugate wave in cerium doped bismuth germanate crystal

The enhancement of phase-conjugnte wave in cerium-doped bismuth germanatecrystal(Ce:BGO) was investigated.The result indicated that the phase congugate mirror(PCM) reflectivity of the doped BGO is one order higher than that of pure BGO and the re-sponse time is also decreased for doped BGO.Their mechanism were discussed.     

A Barbier type reaction promoted by in situ formed active metal bismuth from NaBH_4 and BiCl_3 in aqueous media

In the presence of active metal bismuth (Bi) which was prepared from the combination of bismuth trichloride and sodium borohydride,aldehydes have been found to react with allyl bromide in aqueous media,and the corresponding homoallylic alcohols were obtained in excellent yields with high chemo-and stereoselectivity.     

<Emphasis Type="Italic">In Situ</Emphasis> Synthesis of Field-responsive Nanocrystalline BaTiO<Subscript>3</Subscript> Particles Modified with Functional Organics

Nanocrystalline BaTiO₃ particles modified with polarizable ligands were synthesized through hydrolysis of modified metal–organics below 100°C. BaTiO₃ precursor was synthesized from barium metal, titanium isopropoxide and polarizable ligands in a mixture of ethanol and 2-ethoxyethanol. The modified Ba–Ti complex alkoxide was hydrolyzed yielding BaTiO₃ particles modified with organics. The crystallinty of nanometer-sized particles was dependent upon the hydrolysis conditions, and increased with increasing water amount and time. The nanocrystalline particles were identified to be BaTiO₃ by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electron diffraction. A fluid consisting of modified BaTiO₃ particles and silicone oil revealed a typical electrorheological (ER) behavior on applying DC field. The ER behavior was found to depend upon the kind of ligand. 4-Fluorobenzyloxy modifier revealed the highest yield stress in the ER measurement among 4-substitued benzyloxy ligands examined.     

Surface plasma waves over bismuth-vacuum interface

A surface plasma wave (SPW) over bismuth-vacuum interface has a signature of mass anisotropy of free electrons. For SPW propagation along the trigonal axis there is no birefringence. The frequency cutoff of SPW lies in the far infrared region and can be accessed using free electron laser. The damping rate of waves at low temperatures is low. The surface plasma wave may be excited by an electron beam of current ∼100 mA propagating parallel to the interface in its close proximity.     

X-ray structure of dodecasodium tricopper(II)bis[nonatungstabismuthate(III) hydrate, a polyoxometalate salt containing α-B-BiW9O33 units

The reaction of [Bi₂W₂₂O₇₄(OH)₂]^12– with Cu²⁺ in hot aqueous solution in the presence of Na⁺ affords the polyoxometalate salt Na₁₂[Cu₃Bi₂W₁₈O₆₆]32H₂O. Single-crystal X-ray analysis [monoclinic, space-group C2/m, a = 33.082(6) Å, b = 19.615(5) Å, c = 14.885(2) Å, = 90.632(12)°, Z = 4; R(F) = 0.065 for 6029 data with I> (I), wR(F ²) = 0.135 for all 8793 independent reflections] shows that the anion [{Cu(H₂O)}₃{BiW₉O₃₃}₂]^12–, on a crystal mirror-plane, has noncrystallographic symmetry close to D_3h. Two B--[Bi^IIIW₉O₃₃]^9– units are linked by an equatorial belt of three Cu(H₂O)²⁺ units. Three Na(H₂O)₂ ⁺ units are also attached in the equatorial plane. The bond geometry is square-pyramidal about each Cu atom and trigonal–prismatic about each Na.
