AbstractAmerican Petroleum Institute (API) gravity is an important parameter in the crude oil industry and the nitrogen compounds are related to the toxic effects of the oil in refineries and the environment. In this paper, 194 crude oil samples with API gravities ranging from 11.4 to 57.5 were used for the purpose of estimating the physicochemical properties: API gravity, total nitrogen content (TNC) and basic nitrogen content (BNC). Initially, infrared spectra in the mid and near regions (MIR and NIR) were collected, then full-spectral partial least squares (PLS) and the orthogonal projections to latent structures (OPLS) chemometric models were developed and validated, as well as models using interval PLS (iPLS), synergy interval PLS (siPLS) and competitive adaptive reweighted sampling PLS (CARSPLS) as variable selection tools. For API gravity and TNC, the best calibration technique is the NIR CARSPLS with a root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) values of 0.9 and 0.0275?wt%, respectively. For BNC, the best technique is MIR siPLS with a prediction error of 0.0134?wt%. The results were validated based on the evaluation of the figures of merit, a statistical evaluation of the accuracy, characterization of the systematic error and measurement for errors in the residues. The results were satisfactory considering the high variability of the data and the diversity of the samples, demonstrating suitable applicability for practical analysis. 相似文献

Theoretically speaking, there are four kinds of possibilities to define the random conjugate space of a random locally convex module. The purpose of this paper is to prove that among the four kinds there are only two which are universally suitable for the current development of the theory of random conjugate spaces. Let Λ be an isolated non-trivial transitive set of a C 1 generic diffeomorphism f ∈ Diff (M ). We show that the space of invariant measures supported on Λ coincides with the space of accumulation measures of time averages on one orbit. Moreover, the set of points having this property is residual in Λ (which implies that the set of irregular+ points is also residual in Λ). The accuracy and efficiency of sound field calculations highly concern issues of hydroacoustics. Recently, one-dimensional spectral methods have shown high-precision characteristics when solving the sound field but can solve only simplified models of underwater acoustic propagation, thus their application range is small. Therefore, it is necessary to directly calculate the two-dimensional Helmholtz equation of ocean acoustic propagation. Here, we use the Chebyshev–Galerkin and Chebyshev collocation methods to solve the two-dimensional Helmholtz model equation. Then, the Chebyshev collocation method is used to model ocean acoustic propagation because, unlike the Galerkin method, the collocation method does not need stringent boundary conditions. Compared with the mature Kraken program, the Chebyshev collocation method exhibits a higher numerical accuracy. However, the shortcoming of the collocation method is that the computational efficiency cannot satisfy the requirements of real-time applications due to the large number of calculations. A new numerical method named as basic function method is proposed. It can directly discretize differential operators on unstructured grids. By expanding the basic function to approach the exact function, the central and upwind schemes of derivative are constructed. By using the second-order polynomial as a basic function and applying the flux splitting method and the combination of central and upwind schemes to suppress non-physical fluctuation near shock waves, a second-order basic function scheme of polynomial type is proposed to solve inviscid compressible flows numerically. Numerical results of typical examples for two-dimensional inviscid compressible transonic and supersonic steady flows indicate that the new scheme has high accuracy and high resolution for shock waves. Combined with the adaptive remeshing technique, satisfactory results can be obtained. 相似文献
