Synthesis, characterization and thermal studies on cellulose acetate membranes with additive 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Cellulose acetate (CA) membranes are used in ultrafiltration applications, although they show low chemical, mechanical and thermal resistance. In order to prepare membranes with improved properties, modification of cellulose acetate with polyethelene glycol (PEG 600) has been attempted. In this study, CA has been mixed with PEG 600 as an additive in a polar solvent. The effects of CA composition and additive concentration given by a mixture design of experiments on membrane compaction, pure water flux, water content and membrane hydraulic resistance have been studied and discussed. The efficiency of protein separation by the developed CA membranes have been quantified using model proteins such as pepsin, egg albumin (EA) and bovine serum albumin (BSA). The thermal stability of the developed membranes prepared with PEG 600 additive has also been investigated using thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry. 相似文献

A number of sequential injection analysis (SIA) measurement methods have been developed during the last years. Almost all have been used in laboratory conditions with good results, but very few have been implemented as on-line methods, applied to non-stop measurements, producing immediate results for process control. The transfer of an SIA system from laboratory to an industrial facility [J. Ruzicka, Anal. Chim. Acta 261 (1992) 3] requires a whole new range of details to be taken into account. It is difficult to obtain an accurate mathematical model in electro-hydraulic servo control system, due to the nonlinear factors such as dead zone, saturation, flow coefficient, and friction. Hence, a parameter identification algorithm, combining recursive least squares (RLS) with modified nonlinear particle swarm optimization (NPSO) algorithm, is proposed. On this basis, another improved NPSO algorithm is also put forward, aiming at searching for the optimal proportional–integral (PI) controller gain of the nonlinear hydraulic system while giving comprehensive consideration to the system performance indexes. The system identification experiments and position tracking control are conducted, respectively. As indicated by the comparison with the least squares (LS), RLS, PSO, and RLS–LPSO results, the proposed method shows higher identification and control accuracy. 相似文献

In Fifth Generation (5G) Heterogeneous Mobile Networks (HetNets), deploying dense small cell networks makes user association more challenging. The process of collecting cell load information from the User Equipments (UEs) and broadcasting the feedback message involves significant overhead and time complexity. Moreover, the UEs may not know the optimum cell to reselect, satisfying its data rate requirements. In order to overcome these drawbacks, in this paper, we propose to design an Hierarchical and Hybrid Cell Load Balancing (HHCLB) technique using Selective Handoff. In this technique, the UEs of each cell are grouped into clusters depending on their proximity distance. Each cluster contains a cluster controller (CC) which is in charge of determining the intra-cell load and redirecting the cell-reselection request of a UE. If the data rate of any UE in a cluster becomes less than its required rate, then the cell reselection process is performed. By simulation results, it is shown that load balancing can be done proactively (implicitly) by the CCs when the load is unbalanced or can be done on demand (explicitly) when a UE send a request for cell reselection. In the case of Macro cells, HHCLB attains 71% higher throughput for low load scenario and 59% higher throughput for high load scenario. Similarly, in the case of Femto cells, HHCLB attains 19% higher throughput for low load scenario and 27% higher throughput for high load scenario. 相似文献

Polymeric membranes based on cellulose acetate (CA)--sulfonated polysulfone blends at three different polymer compositions were prepared by solution blending and phase inversion technique, characterized and subjected to annealing at 70, 80 and 90 °C. The permeate water flux, separation of bovine serum albumin and its flux by the blend membranes before and after thermal treatment, have been compared and discussed. Similarly, CA and epoxy resin (diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A) were blended in various compositions, in the presence and in the absence of polyethyleneglycol 600 as non-solvent additive, using N,N′-dimethylformamide as solvent, and used for preparing ultraflltration membranes by phase inversion technique. The polymer blend composition, additive concentration, casting and gelation conditions were optimized. Blend membranes were characterized in terms of compaction, pure water flux, water content and membrane resistance. The effects of polymer blend composition and additive concentration on the above parameters were determined and the results are discussed. 相似文献
