The major purpose of this paper is to transmit an existing video above a complete simulated video streaming architecture based on Network Simulator (NS2). Thanks to our architecture, the visual quality evaluation of the distributed streaming platform under various conditions is simplified. Indeed, the received video can be easily visualized using a classic video client or be compared using the Peak Signal-Noise Ratio (PSNR) value and the Structural SIMilarity (SSIM) value. In the case study, we compare adaptive video congestion strategies using a transcoder, Datagram Congestion Control Protocol (DCCP) and TCP-Friendly Rate Control (TFRC). 相似文献

Wireless sensor network becomes widespread into home and offices to keep them comfort and save the energy. The battery-less wireless sensor nodes need the high performance indoor solar cells for stable and sustainable operation. Organic Photovoltaics (OPV) has great indoor photovoltaic performance because ultra-thin organic layer has strong absorption against the UV–visible spectrum that is good spectral matching with indoor lightings. In this study, OPV module has 8 cells in series and same size as the conventional amorphous silicon solar cells (a-Si) for indoor light harvesting. OPV and a-Si are measured their photovoltaic performance under the fluorescent light and demonstrated for energy harvester of wireless sensor network. The output power of OPV and a-Si is 43.4 μW cm−2 and 28.5 μW cm−2 at fluorescent light 1000lux respectively. The data transmission rate of the wireless sensor node driven by OPV is 30–40% improved under the dim light condition compared to a-Si. 相似文献

In this paper, a compact asymmetric coplanar waveguide (CPW) feed with split-ring resonator (SRR) is proposed to resonate at dual-band operations for wireless local area network (WLAN) and worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) applications. The asymmetric CPW-fed SRR patch (ACSP) antenna consists of a meander line, square-shaped split ring, and CPW ground plane. The proposed ACSP antenna resonates at two operating frequencies, namely, 2.48 GHz (2.4–2.74 GHz) and 3.49 GHz (3.25–3.64 GHz) with reflection coefficients (S11) of −16.65 dB and −32.67 dB, respectively. Piezoelectric cat-eye modulating retro-reflector (MRR) is the core component of an acousto-optic retro-identification system. The influence of the optical parameters (link distance l, lens focal length f and the detector diameter r) to the cat-eye effect was analyzed theoretically and experimentally. 针对宽带毫米波大规模MIMO系统信道估计精度低及实现复杂度较高的问题,在传统支撑检测方案的基础上提出一种基于Gauss-Seidel方法的串行支撑检测(GS-SSD)方案。该方案不使用共同支撑假设,参考串行干扰删除,将整体信道估计问题分解为一系列子问题,每个子问题仅考虑一个信道成分。同时,利用Gauss-Seidel方法近似高复杂度的矩阵求逆。仿真结果表明,相比于基于串行支撑检测(SSD)的方案, GS-SSD方案在将求逆复乘数降低一个数量级的同时可以取得接近SSD方案的信道估计性能。 相似文献
