A series of nonpeptide angiotensin II receptor antagonists was synthesized via palladium-assisted cross coupling of aryl stannane and cycloalkenyl triflates and subsequent alkylation of silyl-protected imidazole. Our compounds, which have a terminal five- to seven-membered cycloalkenyl ring, are compared to DuPont EXP7711, an N-[(2′-carboxybiphenylyl)methyl]imidazole, which has a terminal phenyl moiety. Physicochemical properties of the compounds, such as lipophilicity, steric bulk, conformation, and the relative spatial proximity of the 2-carboxyl and the middle phenyl, are quantitated by computational chemistry. Potency in terms of binding affinity to AT1 receptors in rat adrenal glomerulosa and rabbit aorta is maximized when the terminal ring is aromatic.  相似文献

Single Crystal Investigations on Fluoroperovskites MPdF3 (M = Rb, K) and PdF2 Single crystal investigations on PdF2 (violet) confirm the tetragonale rutile structure [1, 2] with a = 495.44(3) pm, c = 338.48(3) pm, Z = 2, space group P42/mnm-D (No. 136) (xF = 0.3058(8)). RbPdF3 and KPdF3 have been obtained. RbPdF3 and KPdF3 both ruby-red single crystals crystallize cubic (perovskite-structure), space group Pm3m-O (No. 221) with a = 429.41(8) pm (RbPdF3) respectively a = 424.30(4) pm (KPdF3).  相似文献

The catalytic activity of benzothiazole-based Pd(II)-complexes was evaluated in Suzuki-Miyaura and Heck-Mizoroki C-C cross-coupling reactions of aryl chlorides and bromides with olefins and arylboronic acids both under thermal as well as microwave irradiation conditions in water. Solution equilibrium studies on Cu(II)-, Ni(II)- and Zn(II)-N-Me-β-Alaninehydroxamic acid (N-Me-β-Alaha), -N-Me-α-alaninehydroxamic acid (N-Me-α-Alaha), -Imidazole-4-carbohydroxamic acid (Im-4-Cha), -N-Me-imidazole-4-carbohydroxamic acid (N-Me-Im-4-Cha) and -Imidazole-4-acetohydroxamic acid (Im-4-Aha) systems have been performed by pH-potentiometry, UV–Vis spectrophotometry, EPR, CD, ESI-MS and 1H NMR methods. According to the results: (i) the amino-N atoms are more basic in N-Me-α-Alaha and N-Me-β-Alaha than the hydroxamate function, but the trend is just the opposite between the imidazole-N(3) and hydroxamate. (ii) The metal ion anchor is always the hydroxamate part in the amino acid derivatives, while it is always the imidazole-N(3) in the studied imidazolehydroxamic acids. (iii) The three studied N-Me derivatives do not form metallacrowns. Only hydroxamate type chelate is formed with N-Me-β-Alaha, but with N-Me-α-Alaha a new type of coordination mode (via amino-N and hydroxamate-O) also exists. N-Me-Im-4-Cha also forms a dinuclear complex, [M2L3], with Cu(II) and Ni(II) (but not with Zn(II)). In this complex, one of the three ligands might bridge the two metal ions (five-membered hydroxamate-(O,O) plus five-membered (Nim, Ocarb) bridging bis-chelating mode), while each of the additional two ligands binds to one metal. (iv) The two studied N–H derivatives, having dissociable proton on the hydroxamic-N, are able to form metallacrown species. A pentanuclear complex, [M5L4H−4], is exclusively formed above pH 4 between Cu(II) and Im-4-Aha. Interestingly, this 12-metallacrown-4 type complex, although together with various mononuclear binding isomers, appears also with Ni(II) and Zn(II). Unfortunately, the complexes of Im-4-Cha are not soluble in water at physiological pH at all.  相似文献

As bio‐inspired chemical model of the oxygen‐evolving complex (OEC) in photosystem II, a new tyrosine‐modified corrole ligand 3 and its high‐valent copper and manganese complexes 3a and 3b were synthesized and characterized. The copper complexes 1a and 2a of corrole 1 and 2 were also prepared for comparison. The emission property indicates that the emission of ligands 2 and 3 is located at 670 nm, but no emission is observed for their metal complexes due to its suppression by the metal center. The electrochemical study shows that 3a might dimerize at the first two reversible oxidations, a behavior which was not observed in the case of 1a and 2a . The corrolato manganese(IV) complex 3b shows one reversible reduction and one quasireversible oxidation at ?0.17 and 0.77 V vs. Ag/Ag+, respectively.  相似文献

Electric light scattering and microelectrophoresis were applied to investigate the electric moments (permanent dipole moment and electric polarizability and electrophoretic mobility of envelope-free chloroplasts and photosystem II (PS II particles. The effect of the removal of the extrinsic polypeptides (18, 24 and 33 kDa) on the electric moments was also studied. A significant difference was observed between the orientation behaviour of chloroplasts and PS II preparations. The data indicate that the permanent and induced dipole moments contribute to the orientation of the PS II particles, whereas chloroplasts possess induced dipole moment only.

NaCl and Tris treatments of PS II preparations influence both the transverse permanent dipole moment and the electric polarizability of PS II particles. The increase in the electrophoretic mobility of PS II particles on removal of the extrinsic proteins corresponds to an increase in the electric polarizability value, demonstrating its interfacial nature.  相似文献

The reaction of cis-[ClP(μ-NtBu)]2 with N,N′-dimethylurea leads to the formation of both mono- and di-substituted derivatives [ClP(μ-NtBu)2P(NMeCON(H)Me)] and [(μ-NtBu)P(NMeCON(H)Me)]2, instead of monomeric, dimeric or higher oligomeric macrocycles. The structure of [ClP(μ-NtBu)2P(NMeCON(H)Me)] shows rare non-bonded P?Cl and intermolecular hydrogen bonding interactions leading to a 2D-sheet like structure.  相似文献

The magneto-structural correlation between a Mn(ll) ion, coordinated in an octahedral environment, and two nitronyl nitroxide radical ligands in trans- and cis-metal-radical complexes is investigated by the broken symmetry (BS) approach within density functional theory (DFT). The dependences of coupling constants J on three structural parameters: (i) bond angle θ (Mn-O-N (nitroxide)); (ii) rotating angle ψ, defined by the nitronyl nitroxide radical plane rotating around the axial Mn-O (nitroxide); (iii) bond distance R (Mn-O (nitroxide)) are directly calculated. Our calculations showed that both trans- and cis-Mn(ll)-radical complexes behave a stronger antiferromagnetic interaction, consistent with experiments. In view of molecular orbital theory, the direct exchanges, including σ-type and π-type exchanges, are responsible for the magnetic exchange pathways. There is a preferable linear correlation between the calculated coupling constants J and the overlap integral squares S b between the local magnetic orbitals at the various rotating angle ψ at the fixed bond angle θ and bond distance R, in both trans- and cis-Mn(ll)-radical complexes.  相似文献

A novel coordination polymer [{Cd(hmbdc)(H2O)3}·2H2O]n (hmbdc = 5-hydroxy- isophthalic acid) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group P21/c, with a = 9.599(3), b = 18.699(5), c = 7.557(2) , β = 108.198(4)°, V = 1288.6(6) 3, Z = 4, Mr = 382.60, Dc = 1.972 g/cm3, F(000) = 760, μ = 1.740, the final R = 0.0555 and wR = 0.0995 for 1732 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The structural analysis shows that the intermolecular hydrogen bonds and π-π interactions result in a three-dimensional supramolecular framework.  相似文献
