This article reviews the solutions that have been studied for the implementation of nonreciprocal devices in integrated optics. These components, either isolators or circulators, use the nonreciprocal interaction between light and a magnetic medium. The only two isolators that have been experimented on to date are described in detail with their advantages and drawbacks, and some solutions are proposed to overcome the difficulties encountered.  相似文献

The Continuous Miner machines are exposed to time dependent loads during normal operation of the rock cutting process. These loads cause vibrations, which have a negative influence on the whole structure of the machine. This phenomenon can be eliminated by applying passive or active vibration control systems (VCS). Generally these systems are coupled with additional elements, which provide dispersion or transfer energy. The energy thus acquired can also reinforce the intended function such as rock cutting operation in the case of mining machines. The objective of this paper is to present the method of numerical identification of VCS parameters for Continuous Miner machines. The main function of the presented system is to reduce displacement of cutting drum by using elastic element joined to machine chassis and applying appropriate algorithm of control of the angular velocity of cutting drum. The method described improves efficiency of mining and increases durability of machine. In order to determine mechanical and control parameters of VCS the genetic algorithm optimisation method conjugated with numerical modal analysis was used. Finally the transient dynamic analysis was performed for the full-scale model of Continuous Miner in order to verify VCS in normal working condition.  相似文献

为使红外探测器在振动干扰的环境下仍具有足够高的探测率,必须降低其因振动而产生的噪声幅度.控制探测器振动噪声的主要手段之一是控制其机械振动幅度,尤其是共振振幅.采用锤击法,利用冲击激励的宽频特性,研究了金属结构红外探测器的共振特性及影响振动噪声的力学因素.通过改变探测器结构的动力学特性,探寻了减振降噪的几种途径.实验结果表明,探测器悬臂冷指的结构参数对探测器的振动特性起主要作用.在冷指自由端与壳体间填胶做支撑、或冷指固定端与壳体间用胶粘隔振的减振降噪效果最好,可使振动噪声降至原值的1/20.  相似文献

In this paper, the cavitation performance and corresponding pressure pulsation, noise and vibration induced by the choked cavitating flow in a Venturi reactor are investigated experimentally under different cavitation conditions by using high-speed camera and high frequency sensors. Based on the instantaneous continuous cavitation images, the Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD), a tool to analyze the large-scale cavitation flow structure, is applied to investigate the choked cavitating flow dynamics. The POD results show that two mechanisms, re-entrant jet flow mechanism and shock wave mechanism, govern the shedding and collapse of cavitation cloud at different pressure ratios. These mechanisms contribute to the variation of pressure pulsation, noise and vibration at different pressure ratios. The pressure pulsation spectrum behaves differently in various cavitation regions induced by the choked cavitating flow. Due to the existence of low pressure in re-entrant region, the influence of high frequency fluctuation on pressure pulsation caused by re-entrant flow is small. Moreover, with the increase of pressure ratio, the induced noise and vibration intensity decreases gradually, then increases and reaches a maximum value. Finally, it drops to a low and stable level. Despite different inlet pressures, the intensity of cavitation noise and vibration reaches the maximum value at the same pressure ratio. Specifically, the FFT analysis of noise and vibration signals indicates that low frequency component prevails at small pressure ratio owing to the re-entrant jet mechanism, while high frequency component prevails at large pressure ratio owing to the shock wave mechanism. The relationship between the choked cavitation dynamics and the induced pressure pulsation, noise and vibration in the Venturi reactor is highlighted. The results can provide guidance for the optimal operation condition of the Venturi reactor for cavitation applications such as water treatment.  相似文献

This paper presents a study of the vibratory behaviour of a flexible workpiece subject to a milling end operation. Indeed, this vibratory behaviour is critical, especially when the excitation frequency is near to the resonance. For this reason, passive vibration suppression is considered in order to attenuate the dynamic response of the milled workpiece and decrease the dynamic effect on the resulting machined surface roughness and flatness. In order to confirm the efficiency of the passive vibration suppression, the vibratory behaviour and the quality (roughness and flatness) of a machined surface are studied without and with passive absorber (TMD) using a finite-element model.  相似文献

The torsional vibrations of star molecules are studied with a reduced dimensionality model. In this model, the molecule is described by two equivalent sets of lumped inertial cylinders and vibrational frequencies are predicted by solution of the coupled equations of motion. Force constants are determined by including them as free parameters in the model and fitting the computed frequencies to their analogs as determined using full normal coordinate analysis at the HFSCF level of theory. Best agreement between the methods occurs when torsional force constants are included for the first two layers of the molecule. This reveals that non-bonded torsional interactions are important in the vibrational dynamics of these systems. Further insight is afforded by an analysis of why simple harmonic oscillator models are sufficient for modeling some related systems but fail to reproduce the trend in global mode frequencies for saturated aliphatic star molecules. The analysis reveals that the origin of this failure lies in backbone flexibility in these branched polymeric systems.  相似文献

We consider trapezoidal load-time pulses with linearly increasing and affinely decreasing durations equal to integer multiples of the time period of the first bending mode of vibration of a linearly elastic structure. For arbitrary spatial distributions of loads applied to monolithic and laminated orthotropic plates, it is shown through numerical solutions that plates’ vibrations become miniscule after the load is removed. This phenomenon is independent of the dwell time (i.e., the time duration between the rising and the falling portions) during which the load is kept constant. The primary reason for this response is that for such time-dependent loads, nearly all of plate’s strain energy is concentrated in deformations corresponding to the fundamental bending mode of vibration. Thus plate’s deformations can be studied by taking the mode shape of the 1st bending mode as the basis function and reducing the problem to that of solving a single second-order ordinary differential equation. We have verified this postulate by comparing strain energies computed from the 3-dimensional deformations of different plate geometries and boundary conditions with those determined by using the single degree of freedom (DoF) model. Thus for trapezoidal time-dependent loads applied on plates, the 1 DoF model provides reasonably accurate results and saves considerable computational effort.  相似文献

本文阐明了超声波原油破乳脱水基本原理,实验研究了超声场参数对脱水率的影响,其中,声强,辐照时间和频率和影响原油脱水率的主要因素,而间歇比,脉冲宽度为次要回素,对本实验系统而言,声场参数有一个最佳值或范围,声强0.65W/cm^2,频率20kHz,间歇比8,脉冲宽度9.7ms,辐照时间5-10min.  相似文献
