Archimedean operator-theoretic Positivstellensätze

We prove a general archimedean positivstellensatz for hermitian operator-valued polynomials and show that it implies the multivariate Fejer-Riesz theorem of Dritschel-Rovnyak and positivstellensätze of Ambrozie-Vasilescu and Scherer-Hol. We also obtain several generalizations of these and related results. The proof of the main result depends on an extension of the abstract archimedean positivstellensatz for ?-algebras that is interesting in its own right.     

Higher order elliptic and parabolic systems with variably partially BMO coefficients in regular and irregular domains

The solvability in Sobolev spaces is proved for divergence form complex-valued higher order parabolic systems in the whole space, on a half-space, and on a Reifenberg flat domain. The leading coefficients are assumed to be merely measurable in one spacial direction and have small mean oscillations in the orthogonal directions on each small cylinder. The directions in which the coefficients are only measurable vary depending on each cylinder. The corresponding elliptic problem is also considered.     

Variable-step variable-order 3-stage Hermite-Birkhoff-Obrechkoff DDE solver of order 4 to 14

This article presents a solver for delay differential equations (DDEs) called HBO414DDE based on a hybrid variable-step variable-order 3-stage Hermite-Birkhoff-Obrechkoff ODE solver of order 4 to 14. The current version of our method solves DDEs with state dependent, non-vanishing, small, vanishing and asymptotically vanishing delays, except neutral type and initial value DDEs. Delayed values are computed using Hermite interpolation, small delays are dealt with by extrapolation, and discontinuities are located by a bisection method. HBO414DDE was tested on several problems and results were compared with those of known solvers like SYSDEL and the recent Matlab DDE solver ddesd and statistics show that it gives, most of the time, a smaller relative error than the other solvers for the same number of function evaluations.     

Stability Analysis for the Numerical Simulation of Hybrid Stochastic Differential Equations

This paper is mainly concerned with the exponential stability of a class of hybrid stochastic differential equations–stochastic differential equations with Markovian switching (SDEwMSs). It first devotes to reveal that under the global Lipschitz condition, a SDEwMS is pth (p ∈ (0,1)) moment exponentially stable if and only if its corresponding improved Euler-Maruyama(IEM) method is pth moment exponentially stable for a suitable step size. It then shows that the SDEwMS is pth(p ∈ (0,1)) moment exponentially stable or its corresponding IEM method with small enough step sizes implies the equation is almost surely exponentially stable or the corresponding IEM method, respectively. In that sense, one can infer that the SDEwMS is almost surely exponentially stable and the IEM method, no matter whether the SDEwMS is pth moment exponentially stable or the IEM method. An example is demonstrated to illustrate the obtained results.     

Weighted Estimates of Variable Kernel Fractional Integral and Its Commutators on Vanishing Generalized Morrey Spaces with Variable Exponent

In this paper, the authors obtain the boundedness of the fractional integral operators with variable kernels on the variable exponent generalized weighted Morrey spaces and the variable exponent vanishing generalized weighted Morrey spaces. And the corresponding commutators generated by BMO function are also considered.     

Validity of the Electronic Transition Moment Functions for the B-X Transition of I2, From Radiative Lifetimes of the Vibrational Levels of the B State

Franck-Condon factors and R-centroids for the B-X transition of I₂ have been calculated from recent molecular parameters. From our radiative lifetimes and others reported in the literature, the validity of several proposed electronic transition moment functions has been checked. Acombination of the Bhale and Koffend functions seems to give the best fitting with the experimental radiative lifetimes.     

Some Indeterminate Moment Problems and Freud-Like Weights

We study two indeterminate Hamburger moment problems and the corresponding orthogonal polynomials. The coefficients in their recurrence relations are of exponential growth or are polynomials of degree 2. The entire functions in the Nevanlinna parametrization are found. The orthogonal polynomials with polynomial recurrence coefficients resemble the Freud polynomials with a = 1/2 . Inequalities are given for the largest zero and the asymptotic behavior of the largest zero is established. April 24, 1996. Date revised: March 3, 1997.

关于两类污染数据回归分析的参数估计

研究简单回归模型：ｙｊ＝ａ＋βｘｊ＋εｊ，ｊ＝１，２，…，ｎ，其中Ｅεｊ＝０，Ｅε＾２ｊ＝σ＾２ｊ；但ｙ１，ｙ２，…，ｙｎ受到另一独立同分布随机变量序列ｔ，ｔ２，…，ｔｎ两种不同方式的污染，ｔｊ与ｙｊ独立。本文给出了两种污染方式下的ａ、β和污染参数的估计。     

V形缝隙天线的研究

本文利用第二类尖劈并矢格林函数对任意夹角的Ｖ形缝隙天线进行了矩量法计算。Ｖ形缝开在Ｖ形金属板上，并且由双线从中间馈电。文中给出了缝隙口面场分布和天线Ｈ面方向图的理论计算结果和实验结果，两者基本吻合。文中最后给出了三种非Ｖ形弯曲缝隙的实验结果。
