Low molecular weight aromatic substances may migrate out from plastic packaging to their contents, especially if they consist of organic aqueous solutions or oils. It is, therefore, extremely important to be able to identify and quantify any migrated substances in such solutions, even at very low concentrations. We have in this work investigated and evaluated the use of solid-phase microextraction for the specific task of extraction from an organic aqueous solution such as a simulated pharmaceutical solution consisting of 10 vol.% ethanol in water. The goal was furthermore to investigate the possibility of simultaneously identifying and quantifying the substances in spite of differences in their chemical structures. Methods were developed and evaluated for extraction both with direct sampling and with headspace sampling. Difficulties appeared due to the ethanol in the solution and the minute amounts of substances present. We have shown that a simultaneous quantification of migrated low molecular weight degradation products of antioxidants using only one fibre is possible if the extraction method and temperature are adjusted in relation to the concentration levels of the analytes. Comparions were made with solid-phase extraction.  相似文献

Caused by the interaction between the particles, structural fluctuations influence thermodynamics and order of transformation of an ensemble of nanoparticles. A stringed thermodynamic analysis revealed that, in fluctuating ensembles, the ratio of particle numbers in the equilibrium over the one in the non-equilibrium phase is independent of any metastable in between. Structural transformations in such ensembles, connected to latent heat, are of infinite order. These findings are summarized in a set of theorems ruling structural fluctuations. Finally, the consequences of fluctuations are demonstrated by an example.  相似文献

The paper introduces the recent results related to an entropy functional on trajectories of a controlled diffusion process, expressed through an additive functional of the diffusion process, with a Lagrangian, determined by the parameters of a controlled stochastic equation. These results include a minimum condition for the entropy functional and the functional's Jensen inequality, which both are useful for the solution of important mathematical and applied problems.  相似文献

The study of mechanical systems with uncertain parameters is gaining increasing interest in the field of system analysis to provide an expedient model for the prediction of the system behavior. Making use of the Transformation Method, the uncertain parameters of the system are modeled by fuzzy numbers in contrast to random numbers used in stochastic approaches. As a result of this analysis, a quantification of the overall uncertainty of the system outputs, including a worst-case scenario, is obtained. The inputs of the resulting fuzzy-valued model are a priori uncorrelated but after the uncertainties are propagated through the model, interdependency (or interaction) between the outputs may arise. If such interdependency is neglected, a misinterpretation of the results may occur. For example, in the case of applying uncertainty analysis in the early design phase of a product to determine the relevant design-parameter space, the interdependency between the design variables may reduce significantly the available part of the design space. This paper proposes a measure of interdependency between the uncertain system outputs. The interdependency index can be derived by a postprocessing of the data gained by the analysis with the Transformation Method. Such information can be obtained by a negligible amount of extra computation time.  相似文献

The isovariant version of Borsuk–Ulam type theorems has been studied by Wasserman and the first author. In this paper, first we consider the relation between the existence of Cn-isovariant maps from free Cn-manifolds to representation spheres and Borsuk–Ulam type inequalities for their dimensions. Our main result classifies the Cn-isovariant maps by Cn-isovariant homotopy types when a Borsuk–Ulam type inequality holds. For proving it, we use the multidegree of a Cn-equivariant map developed by the first author.  相似文献

Based on the coordinate transformation theory, we propose a way to manipulate the field distribution in three-dimensional waveguides filled with the designed material. In this work, we show that the designed transformation media can concentrate the electromagnetic field more extremely around the center of the rectangular cross-section inside the straight waveguide. Furthermore, high concentration of the field distribution inside the waveguide bend is also performed well. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the electromagnetic wave can propagate without any signal destruction and conserve the original propagation mode at receiver side.  相似文献

This paper deals with the computation of the first probability density function of the solution of random homogeneous linear second-order difference equations by the Random Variable Transformation method.
