Test strips and similar products are highly feasible tools for the rapid and approximate determination of chemical characteristics. Although the application of both the quantitative observation of coloration and regression modeling has recently enabled these products to become quantitative tools, their precision and accuracy may be further improved. In this study, the pseudocolor imaging of the coloration image, derivative spectrophotometry-like differentiation of the coloration values, and logarithmic conversion of the raw and derivative values were compared in terms of the precision and accuracy of the quantitative determination of corrosiveness, glucose, nitrate, and pH using the products. The best regression models for the determination were provided by the combination of pseudocolor imaging and differentiation (nitrate and pH); pseudocolor imaging, differentiation, and square-conversion (corrosiveness); or all of the techniques (glucose). When compared to the use of the original 10 raw coloration variables of red-green-blue, cyan-magenta-yellow-key black, and L*a*b* color models only, the above combinations improved the normalized mean absolute error from 14.8% to 3.09% (corrosiveness), 6.33% to 3.15% (glucose), 7.46% to 4.56% (nitrate), and 3.22% to 0.94% (pH). These achievements were largely attributed to the combination of multiple variables that have non-linear and nonmonotonic relationships with the chemical characteristics.  相似文献

将主成分分析(PCA)用于肝功能检测数据特征提取,然后用支持向量机(SVM)对乙肝、丙肝、肝硬化、正常人样本建立分类模型。采用高斯径向基函数(RBF)为核函数,调节核函数参数C及σ以建立最佳支持向量机模型。该模型对训练集的识别率为99.3%,对预测集的预测率为96.4%。结果表明:PCA-SVM法建立的肝病分类模型能较好的区分乙肝、丙肝、肝硬化及正常人,且分类效果优于传统支持向量机及人工神经网络(ANN)分类模型。  相似文献

Summary The Pharmacia Automatized FPLC System equipped with a PepRPC HR 5/5 bonded-phase column was tested with dansyl polyamines, toluene, dimethyl- and dibutylphthalate, using either isocratic conditions or linear gradient-elution program of methanol in water as the mobile phase. A simple and reproducible method is described for the quantiation of dansylated natural polyamines, such as putrescine, spermidine and spermine originating from P388/S leukemia cells. Comparing the data from analyses performed in parallel by the Automated FPLC/PepRPC HR 5/5, and a Hewlett-Packard Model 1084B/LiChrosorb RP-8 systems a linear correlation has been found, with a regression coefficient of r=0.974.  相似文献

Autoverification is a process in which computer software will automatically evaluate laboratory test results, verify result integrity, and then release the results to the hospital interface without any technologist intervention. Autoverify release criteria are user defined and can be customized. The process of developing, implementing, and monitoring autoverify is achievable for most test results in laboratory medicine. The use of autoverification will improve result quality, increase revenue, and create faster turn-around times. All of this put together will ultimately lead to improved customer satisfaction. The calibration model of near-infrared (NIR) spectra established using the Kalman filter-partial least square (partial least squares combined with a Kalman filter) method can be adapted to outdated equipment, environmental changes, external samples, and other applications. However, the variance of the measurement noise estimation for NIR spectrum measurements cannot be easily obtained using Kalman filter-partial least squares; therefore, the variance in the measurement noise is often assumed to be zero for the Kalman filter-partial least square calibration model, which affects the stability of the model. In this study, the measured input and output data were used effectively, and the gamma test method for estimating the measurement noise variance was used to improve the stability of the Kalman filter-partial least square calibration model. First, an accurate estimation of the measurement noise variance was obtained, and accurate modeling was then performed using Kalman filter-partial least squares. Finally, 600 abandoned drilling fluid samples were used to confirm the validity of the proposed method. The Kalman filter-partial least square and gamma test-Kalman filter-partial least square methods are compared. Testing of external samples 401–600 demonstrated that the stability of the Kalman filter-partial least square model decreased. The root mean square error of the prediction of the Kalman filter-partial least square model was 27.135, which was worse than that of the gamma test-Kalman filter-partial least square model (20.307). The validation results show that the proposed method has better stability in tracking the evolution of the NIR spectrometer’s measurement state.  相似文献

To mitigate CO2 discharged from thermal power plants, studies on CO2 fixation by the photosynthesis of microalgae using actual exhaust gas have been carried out. The results are as follows.
1.  A method is proposed for evaluating the maximum photosynthesis rate in the raceway cultivator using only the algal physical properties;
2.  Outdoor cultivation tests taking actual flue gas were performed with no trouble or break throughout 1 yr using the strain collected in the test;
3.  The produced microalgae is effective as solid fuel; and
4.  The feasibility studies of this system were performed. The system required large land area, but the area is smaller than that required for other biomass systems, such as tree farms.

Acetylcholinesterase was immobilised on magnetic particles and integrated in a flow-injection system via a magnetic reactor. Enzyme activity was determined amperometrically using acetylthiocholine chloride as enzyme substrate. This system was applied to enzyme inhibition tests. Inhibition constants and lower detection limits were determined for carbofuran, paraoxon, malaoxon and paraoxon-methyl. The resulting data were compared to those obtained with a photometric test, i.e. the determination of thiocholine via its reaction with the Ellman's reagent 5,5'-dithio-bis-2-nitrobenzoic acid using the same flow system. As they correlated well to those reported for the native enzyme the flow-injection analysis device can be applied to automated determination and characterisation of enzyme inhibitors.  相似文献
