In this paper the neo-classical economic Solow-Swan model (1956) has been improved replacing its Malthusian manpower law with the Verhulst (logistic) one. The relevant ordinary differential equation for the ratio capital/work has been then integrated in closed form via the Hypergeometric function2 F 1. The logistic growth injection for the manpower is detected to induce a more slow dynamics onto the Solow-Swan system, which keeps its stability. Increasing developments are displayed as the technologic progress rises. Further sceneries are tested and the congruence of the new solution with the classical one is shown switching to zero the selflimitation coefficent in the logistic law. Abstract. In this paper we study the notion of perimeter associated with doubling metric measures or strongly weights. We prove that the metric perimeter in the sense of L. Ambrosio and M. Miranda jr. coincides with the metric Minkowski content and can be obtained also as a -limit of Modica-Mortola type degenerate integral functionals. We show that the tensor product B-spline basis and the triangular Bernstein basis are in some sense best conditioned among all nonnegative bases for the spaces of tensor product splines and multivariate polynomials, respectively. Vitrification suppression in the (V2O5)1−x (P2O5)x glasses where x=0.10, 0.15, 0.20, and 0.25 was controlled by changing the rate of quenching glasses. The structure variations occurring in the glasses were detected by differential thermal analysis and optical microscope. The results implied the separation and growth of V2O5 orthorhombic microcrystal in the samples with x=0.10 and 0.15 whereas other samples did not illustrate remarkable changes in their microstructure. However, in temperature range between 300 and 473 K a semiconducting behavior for all samples appears during the study of electrical conductivity-temperature dependence. A decrease in conductivity values accompanied with some variations in activation energies by reducing quenching rate was observed. The conductivity results suggested that the conduction occurs by the phonon assisted hopping of a small polaron between V4+ and V5+ states at relatively higher temperature range above θD/2. Whereas at relatively low temperatures the conduction may occur by electron jumping between filled and empty states at Fermi level in the disordered matrix besides polaronic conduction. Reasonable values for the density of localized states, carrier concentration and carrier mobility were estimated and discussed. Also, dielectric constant and dielectric loss were studied as a function of frequency at different temperatures confirming the structure variations in the glass system.  相似文献

Nb-doped anatase TiO2 single crystal has been grown by chemical vapour transport method. Raman spectra shows that the obtained crystal with Nb of 0.08 wt% has typical anatase structure. An absorption band was observed at around 2.2 eV, which seems to be due to the d-d transition in the conduction band. The electron paramagnetic resonance and electric resistivity measurements show that the doped niobium makes quite shallow donor level whose orbital is dxy-like centered at the titanium position of anatase.  相似文献

The cation distribution in spinel-related titanium-substituted lithium ferrite, Li0.5+0.5xFe2.5−1.5xTixO4 has been explored using interatomic potential and ab initio calculations. The results suggest that the cation distribution with Ti4+ substituting for Fe3+ on octahedral B sites and excess Li+ substituting for Fe3+ on tetrahedral A sites is stabilised by the formation of clusters of two octahedrally coordinated Ti4+ ions and one tetrahedrally coordinated Li+ ion linked through a common oxygen.  相似文献

The crystalline lamellar compound, VOPO4·2H2O, was employed as host to react with a long monoamine aliphatic chain, dodecylamine, and with an aromatic derivative, nicotinamide, using two distinct synthetic approaches: in the solid state and from aqueous solution. The resulting compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometry, thermogravimetry and SEM microscopy. From X-ray diffraction patterns, the calculated increase of the interlayer distance was 2.05 nm for the dodecylamine, containing product, which is in agreement with the intercalation process, and was observed with both reactions routes. On the contrary, the guest nicotinamide molecule was not inserted into the lamellar cavity. The reaction in the solid state caused a small modification of the phosphate microstructure, in comparison with the solution procedure. The aliphatic amine molecules are oriented in a bilayer inside the host cavity by forming an angle of 67° with the inorganic lamella. The thermal decomposition for both series of synthesized compounds did not demonstrate any difference in behavior.  相似文献

Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) investigations has been carried out on the new family of molybdenum doped vanadium sesquioxides (V1−xMox)2−δO3. The oxidation effects were monitored from the rate of paramagnetic V4+ created when the sample is exposed to the air. The effects of the oxidation time, sample temperature, and annealing at 1000 °C under a diluted hydrogen atmosphere on the EPR signal features are analyzed. The V4+ concentration in the oxidized samples is determined and the relaxation effects driven by the conduction electrons are pointed out from the thermal behaviour of the EPR line features. EPR spectra of all the oxidized samples also reveal a small ferromagnetic contribution strongly correlated with the V4+ content.  相似文献
