An alternative all-fiber sensor for simultaneous strain and temperature measurement based on a photonic crystal fiber (PCF) spliced between single-mode fibers cascaded with a long period grating (LPG) is proposed. By collapsing the air holes at two splicing regions along the PCF, a simple but effective modal-interference (MI) is occurred between the core and cladding modes of the PCF. Due to the different responses on the changes of strain and temperature on the MI and the cascaded LPG, the strain and temperature can be measured simultaneously. Experimental results show that the sensing resolution of 9.1 με in strain measurement is experimentally achieved over a range of 2640 με, while the temperature sensing resolution is 0.27 °C within a range of 30-100 °C. 相似文献

Two-stroke mopeds are a popular and convenient mean of transport in particular in the highly populated cities. These vehicles can emit potentially toxic gaseous and aerosol pollutants due to their engine technology. The legislative measurements of moped emissions are based on offline methods; however, the online characterization of gas and particulate phases offers great possibilities to understand aerosol formation mechanism and to adapt future emission standards. The purpose of this work was to study the emission behavior of two mopeds complying with different European emission standards (EURO-1 and EURO-2). A sophisticated set of online analyzers was applied to simultaneously monitor the gas phase and particulate phase of exhaust on a real time basis. The gaseous emission was analyzed with a high resolution Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR; nitrogen species) and a resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometer (REMPI-ToF-MS; polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons: PAH), whereas the particulate phase was chemically characterized by a high-resolution time-of-flight aerosol mass spectrometer (HR-ToF-AMS; organic, nitrate and chloride aerosol) and a multiangle absorption photometer (MAAP; black carbon). The physical characterization of the aerosol was carried out with a condensation particle counter (CPC; particle number concentration) and a fast mobility particle sizer (FMPS; size distribution in real time). In order to extract underlying correlation between gas and solid emissions, principal component analysis was applied to the comprehensive online dataset. Multivariate analysis highlighted the considerable effect of the exhaust temperature on the particles and heavy PAH emissions. The results showed that the after-treatment used to comply with the latest EURO-2 emission standard may be responsible for the production of more potentially harmful particles compared to the EURO-1 moped emissions. 相似文献

A scheme for probabilistic remotely preparing N-particle d-dimensional equatorial entangled states via entangled swapping with three parties is presented. The quantum channel is composed of N - 1 pairs of bipartite d-dimensional non-maximally entangled states and a tripartite d-dimension non-maximally entangled state. It is shown that the sender can help either of the two receivers to remotely prepare the original state, and the N-particle projective measurement and the generalized Hadamard transformation are needed in this scheme. We propose a scheme to realize quantum cloning of an unknown M-qudit equatorial-like entangled state. The first stage of the protocol requires teleportation. After the teleportation is accomplished, the receiver can reestablish the original state. In the second stage of the protocol, with the assistance (through a single-particle projective measurement) of the preparer, the perfect copy of an original state can be produced at the site of the sender. Our scheme requires a single maximally entangled qudit pair as the quantum channel and three dits classical communication. The scheme is feasible at the expense of consuming local resources which include M - 1 ancillary qudits introduced by the receiver and additional bi-qudit operations. Moreover, we construct a sort of unitary transformations which ensure ancillary qudits are not necessarily introduced by the sender. Comparing to the previous protocols, the proposed protocol is economical due to that the cost of both quantum nonlocal resources and classical communication is lowest. 相似文献

In this paper, the dispersion characteristics of a birefringence dielectric planar grating structure for application in pressure and temperature measurements are analyzed by a method, which combines the edge element method with rigorous mode matching approach. Analysis results show that this new anisotropic grating structure offers very high sensitivity for pressure and temperature measurements.
