Finding suits in images of people in unconstrained environments

Clothing style analysis is a critical step for understanding images of people. To automatically identify the style of clothing that people wear is a challenging task due to various poses of person and large variations for even the same clothing category. Suit as one of the clothing style is a key element in many important activities. In this paper, we propose a novel suits detection method for images of people in unconstrained environments. In order to cope with various human poses, human pose estimation is incorporated. By analyzing the style of clothing, we propose the color features, shape features and statistical features for suits detection. Experiments with four popular classifiers have been conducted to demonstrate that the proposed features are effective and robust. Comparative experiments with Bag of Words (BoW) method demonstrate that the proposed features are superior to BoW which is a popular method for object detection. The proposed method has achieved promising performance over our dataset, which is a challenging web image set with various human poses and diverse styles of clothing.     

PhI(OAc)2/I2-mediated [3+2] reaction of [60]fullerene with amides for the preparation of fullerooxazoles

An efficient synthesis of fullerooxazoles was developed via PhI(OAc)₂/I₂-mediated [3+2] reaction of C₆₀ with amides under photo-irradiation. The reaction was tolerant to various aryl and alkyl amides. The reaction mechanism was investigated in detail and a radical pathway was proposed for the formation of fullerooxazoles. Further transformation of compound 2l allowed the easy conjunction of fullerooxazole moiety to other molecular skeletons.     

The effect of In doping on optical properties of Fe:LiNBO3 crystals

Fe:LiNbO₃ and In:Fe:LiNbO₃ crystals were grown by Czochralski method. The absorption spectra were measured to investigate their defect structure. The photo damage resistance and photorefractive properties were measured. The photo damage resistance of the In:Fe:LiNbO₃ crystal in which the In concentration is above the threshold value is one order of magnitude higher than that of the Fe:LiNbO₃ crystal. The mechanisms of the violet shift of the absorption edge and the enhancement of the photorefractive effect of In:Fe:LiNbO₃ crystals were investigated.     

The future of online social networks (OSN): A measurement analysis using social media tools and application

The explosion of online social networks (OSN) has created an interactive and communicative global phenomenon that has enabled billions of users to connect to other individuals on Facebook and Twitter but also with media sharing platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest. This study examines the current use of social media platforms and explores the factors that help define the long term implications of social media. The study employed a nationwide survey collected from 2012 to 2013 and is available from the PEW Internet research center of more than 2000 American citizens’ behaviour towards OSNs. The results revealed strong predictors of OSN that form the connections among users; and the core significant predictors: age, gender and access to mobile Internet that foster the adoption and usage of OSN in the future. Furthermore, online activities such as posting video content on social networks also highlighted the online usage patterns and trends of using social media to actively engage with other users more willingly than text. This is due to the viral nature of online media sharing on social media and as part of the video viewing and creating experience. An outline of practical implications of the findings and areas for future research is also discussed.     

Synthesis of Furanyl β‐Diketone‐based Heteroleptic Iridium(III) Complexes and Studies of Their Photo‐Luminescence Properties

Four iridium complexes containing furan moieties were synthesized and characterized. The positioning of the furan unit had a strong effect on the optical properties of the complexes. The synthetic methodologies developed pave the way for the introduction of oligofuran compounds in Ir^III heteroleptic complexes for OLED applications.

在半导体业中,对生产作业环境要求极为严格,其中对AMC(AirborneMolecularContami-nation)有更严格的控制要求。SO2和NH3属于AMC中的2种,即MA(分子酸)和MB(分子碱)。主要讨论洁净室中NH3和SO2的含量对晶圆和光罩的影响,以及采取各种有效措施对其进行控制,满足先进制程对于产品生产的超高空气品质要求。     

TiO2催化Cr(Ⅵ)-氯代苯酚共存体系中Cr(Ⅵ)的光致还原

Ｃｒ（Ⅵ）离子在ＴｉＯ２光催化剂表面的暗态吸附,受Ｃｒ（Ⅵ）离子浓度及体系酸度的影响较大,４－氯代苯酚（４ＣＰ）的存在,对Ｃｒ（Ⅵ）离子吸附没有影响。     

光化学汽相沉积中光激活物质的理论解析

基于光激活物质空间迁移长度的概念,推导出方形反应空间中到达基片上单位面积的光激活物质总数的解析表达式,对光化学汽相沉积中淀积速率和基片位置的关系进行了模拟和分析。 模拟结果同实验结果符合良好。     

棚室作物吸收光谱的测定及其光生态膜的研制①

本文提取了长沙地区种植的小白菜、韭菜、芹菜等几种典型棚室蔬菜的叶绿素,测定了它们在丙酮溶液中的吸收光谱.根据其吸收光谱,采用向农膜树脂中添加光转换剂的方法,研制出与作物吸收光谱相匹配的光生态膜.初步栽培试验表明该膜具有促进植物生长和分化的作用,增产效果明显.     

端基含己氧基偶氮苯基元的一代光致变色液晶碳硅烷树状物的光响应行为研究

研究了端基含己氧基偶氮苯基元新的一代碳硅烷光致变色液晶树状物G1及其偶氮基元化合物M3在各种溶液中的反顺光异构化反应速率常数、光回复异构化反应速率常数、热回复异构化反应速率常数、量子产率、活化能和异构转换率.G1和M3的光致变色速率常数为0.1s^-1,比对应的光致变色液晶聚硅氧烷的光响应速度快10⁷倍.
