Ultrafast dynamics of the photoinduced insulator (I) to metal (M) transition were investigated using femtosecond mid-infrared pump-probe spectroscopy in two-dimensional organic Mott insulators [bis (ethylenedithio)]-tetrathiafulvalene (BEDT-TTF) salts κ-(BEDT-TTF)2X (κ-(ET)2X, where X denotes anion). In κ-(d-ET)2Cu[N(CN)2]Br, a metallic state was photogenerated using a phonon-mediated mechanism: the effective bandwidth increases through the photoinduced molecular rearrangement. The mechanism differs fundamentally from the previously reported photoinduced filling control in one-dimensional Mott insulators. 相似文献

A new Lie algebra G of the Lie algebra sl(2) is constructed with complex entries whose structure constants are real and imaginary numbers. A loop algebra G corresponding to the Lie algebra G is constructed, for which it is devoted to generating a soliton hierarchy of evolution equations under the framework of generalized zero curvature equation which is derived from the compatibility of the isospectral problems expressed by Hirota operators. Finally, we decompose the Lie algebra G to obtain the subalgebras G1 and G2. Using the G2 and its one type of loop algebra G2, a Liouville integrable soliton hierarchy is obtained, furthermore, we obtain its bi-Hamiltonian structure by employing the quadratic-form identity. 相似文献

Partial k-space acquisition is a conventional method in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for reducing imaging time while maintaining image quality. In this field, image reconstruction from partial k-space is a key issue. This paper proposes an approach fundamentally different from traditional techniques for reconstructing magnetic resonance (MR) images from partial k-space. It uses a so-called singularity function analysis (SFA) model based on phase correction. With such a reconstruction approach, some nonacquired negative spatial frequencies are first recovered by means of phase correction and Hermitian symmetry property, and then the other nonacquired negative and/or positive spatial frequencies are estimated using the mathematical SFA model. The method is particularly suitable for asymmetrical partial k-space acquisition owing to its ability of overcoming reconstruction limitations due to k-space truncations. The performance of this approach is evaluated using both simulated and real MR brain images, and compared with existing techniques. The results demonstrate that the proposed SFA based on phase correction achieves higher image quality than the initial SFA or the projection-onto-convex sets (POCS) method. 相似文献

The problem of phase change in the presence of natural convection has been investigated. A model has been proposed based on the treatment of the release/absorption of latent heat as a heat source/sink in combination with the standard Galerkin finite element method with a primitive variable formulation on a fixed grid. To demonstrate the capabilities of the model, three cases of phase change of an aluminium alloy in the presence of natural convection arc considered, i.e. solidification, melting and combined solidification and melting. The solidification of water in a square cavity is modelled as another example, taking into account the density extremum, and the results are compared with a previously published work. 相似文献

Measurements of drag-reduction are presented for oil–water flowing in a horizontal 0.0254 m pipe. Different oil–water configurations were observed. The injection of water soluble polymer solution (PDRA) in some cases produced drag reduction of about 65% with concentration of only 10–15 ppm. The results showed a significant reduction in pressure gradient due to PDRA especially at high mixture velocity which was accompanied by a clear change in the flow pattern. Phase inversion point in dispersed flow regime occurred at a water fraction range of (0.33–0.35) indicated by its pressure drop peak which was disappeared by injecting only 5 ppm (weight basis) of PDRA. Effect of PDRA concentration and molecular weight on flow patterns and pressure drops are presented in this study. Influence of salt content in the water phase on the performance of PDRA is also examined in this paper. 相似文献

Based on the theory developed in Part 1 of this paper [Levitas, V.I., Ozsoy, I.B., 2008. Micromechanical modeling of stress-induced phase transformations. Part 1. Thermodynamics and kinetics of coupled interface propagation and reorientation. Int. J. Plasticity. doi:10.1016/j.ijplas.2008.02.004], various non-trivial examples of microstructure evolution under complex multiaxial loading are presented. For the case without interface rotation, the effect of the athermal thresholds for austenite (A)–martensite (M) and martensitic variant MI–variant MII interfaces and loading paths on stress–strain curves and phase transformations was studied. For coupled interface propagation and rotation, two types of numerical simulations were carried out. The tetragonal–orthorhombic transformation has been studied under general three-dimensional interface orientation and zero athermal threshold. The cubic–tetragonal transformation was treated with allowing for an athermal threshold and interface reorientation within a plane. The effect of the athermal threshold, the number of martensitic variants and an interface orientation in the embryo was studied in detail. It was found that an instability in the interface normal leads to a jump-like interface reorientation that has the following features of the energetics of a first-order transformation: there are multiple energy minima versus interface orientation that are separated by an energy barrier; positions of minima do not change during loading but their depth varies; when the barrier disappears (i.e. one of the minima transforms to the local saddle or maximum points), the system rapidly evolves toward another stable orientation. Depending on the loading and material parameters, we observed a large continuous change in interface orientation, a jump in interface reorientation, a jump in volume fractions and stresses, an expected stress relaxation during the phase transition and unexpected stress growth during the transition because of large change in elastic moduli. 相似文献

采用热分析法对不同组成的混合锂盐二元体系进行研究, 绘制了混合锂盐体系的步冷曲线和T-x相图, 结果表明体系均为具有最低共熔点的二元体系. LiOH-LiNO3、LiOH-LiCl、LiOH-Li2CO3及LiNO3-LiCl体系的最低共熔点分别为175.7、294.5、418.2及221.6 ℃. 利用低共熔混合物LiNO3-LiOH为锂盐与不同前驱体反应, 制备出了层状结构良好的锂离子电池正极材料LiNiO2、LiNi0.8Co0.2O2及LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2. X射线衍射分析表明, 合成的材料具有规整的层状NaFeO2结构, 且XRD衍射峰强度之比I(003)/I(104)>2.0, 电性能测试表明, 在2.7-4.3 V(vs Li/Li+)的电压范围内进行0.1C倍率充放电, LiNiO2、LiNi0.8Co0.2O2、LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2首次充电比容量分别达168.0、225.4、194.0 mAh·g-1, 放电比容量分别为138.4、165.8、157.7 mAh·g-1. 相似文献

The nontrivial behavior of an elastic chain with identical bi-stable elements may be considered prototypical for a large number of nonlinear processes in solids ranging from phase transitions to fracture. The energy landscape of such a chain is extremely wiggly which gives rise to multiple equilibrium configurations and results in a hysteretic evolution and a possibility of trapping. In the present paper, which extends our previous study of the static equilibria in this system (Puglisi and Truskinovsky, J. Mech. Phys. Solids (2000) 1), we analyze the behavior of a bi-stable chain in a soft device under quasi-static loading. We assume that the system is over-damped and explore the variety of available nonequilibrium transformation paths. In particular, we show that the “minimal barrier” strategy leads to the localization of the transformation in a single spring. Loaded periodically, our bi-stable chain exhibits finite hysteresis which depends on the height of the admissible barrier; the cold work/heat ratio in this model is a fixed constant, proportional to the Maxwell stress. Comparison of the computed inner and outer hysteresis loops with recent experiments on shape memory wires demonstrates good qualitative agreement. Finally we discuss a relation between the present model and the Preisach model which is a formal interpolation scheme for hysteresis, also founded on the idea of bi-stability. 相似文献
