A relativistic, two-wave generator working near -type oscillations of two lowest modes with frequency band around 8 mm, is investigated experimentally. Obtained output radiation patterns point to a single-frequency radiation character. The efficiency is found to rise in two-wave regimes in comparison with one-wave ones. A series of novel N-carbazole end-capped π-conjugated molecules were synthesized by a divergent approach with the use of bromination, Suzuki cross-coupling, and Ullmann reactions and their physical properties were investigated. In dilute solution, UV-vis absorption spectra displayed bathochromic shift with respect to their conjugated backbones, and photoluminescence spectra showed emission maxima in the blue region. Thermal analysis revealed that they are thermally stable semi-crystalline and amorphous materials. All molecules exhibited good electrochemical stability with high-lying HOMO energy levels and have potential applications as hole-transporting and light-emitting layers in organic light-emitting diodes or as host materials for electrophosphorescent applications. 相似文献

Utilizing an extended Hubbard-type Hamiltonian which incorporates both nearest-neighbour Coulomb repulsion and exchange interactions, we have studied the energy dispersion of the lowest elementary excitation from the ferromagnetically aligned state of quasi one-dimensional alternant hydrocarbon networks. It was found that the main effect of the long range Coulomb interaction may be thought of as a renormalization (screening) of the on-site Hubbard integral. This implies an enhancement of the kinetic exchange term and impairs the stability of the ferromagnetic state towards single spin inversions. However, for physically relevant values of the parameters entering the model Hamiltonian, the collective spin excitation represents a magnon, whose energy band lies above the reference value pertaining to the magnetically saturated configuration.Dedicated to Prof. Dr. Adolf Neckel on the occasion of his 60th birthday 相似文献

The co‐conformational ensembles of three differently sized [2]catenanes were studied by measuring pair correlation functions corresponding to the separation of nitroxide spin labels—one attached to each of the two macrocycles—with the double electron–electron resonance (DEER) experiment. A geometric model for the [2]catenanes was derived that approximates the macrocycles by circles and takes into account the topological constraint. Comparison of the experimental to the theoretically predicted pair correlation functions gives insight into the co‐conformational distribution and the size of the macrocycles. It was found that the macrocycles of the medium‐ and large‐sized catenanes in chloroform are close to fully expanded, while they are partially collapsed in glassy o‐terphenyl. For the small‐sized catenane, moderate interaction between the unsaturated sections of the macrocycles in chloroform is indicated by a slight overrepresentation of short label‐to‐label separations in the pair correlation function. 相似文献

Recent progresses of molecular imprinting in metal oxide matrices were summarized. Application of the surface sol-gel process to mixtures of organic carboxylic acids and titanium alkoxide provides ultrathin layers of titania gel (10-20 nm thick), in which molecule-sized cavities are kept intact upon removal of the organic templates. The imprinted cavity reflects the structural and functional features of the template molecule, and the enantioselective imprinting of dipeptide isomers is observed. Robustness and flexibility of the ultrathin titania layer is demonstrated by the formation of interconnected titania hollow structures. Possible practical applications and unsolved problems of this technique are discussed. 相似文献

A heated injection system for a microprocessor-controlled GC has been developed for the (GC)2 analysis of the volatile phase of whole smoke of a cigarette. Effects of injection port temperature and the presence of a Cambridge filter pad are demonstrated. Chromatograms are shown for smoke samples with and without a Cambridge Filter with the sample valve oven at 25°, 165° and 205°C. An organic-inorganic hybrid compound, (Bu4N)2[Mo6O18(NAr)] (Ar = p-BrC6H4) has been synthesized via the DCC dehydrating protocol of the reaction of [α-Mo8O26]4− with 4-bromoaniline hydrochloride in anhydrous acetonitrile, which has been characterized by UV-Vis spectra, 1H NMR and single crystal X-ray diffraction study. By comparing the UV-Vis spectra, which were used to monitor the reaction, the optimum preparative condition for this compound was also determined. This compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n, which is featured in a terminal para-bromophenylimido group linked to an Mo atom of a hexamolybdate cluster by a Mo-N triply bond. In addition, there are π-π dimerization of the neighboring cluster anions though the parallel aromatic rings in their crystals. 相似文献
