In the past few years, motion compensation has been widely used in the coding of image sequences. Most of motion estimation and compensation schemes belong to block-based framework. The framework simplifies the complexity of motion estimation, but gives over constraints to the motion field, which results in worse accuracy on the boundary of moving objects. This paper presents a novel technique for raising motion field accuracy. It uses several pre-defined pattern types to segment the motion fields of the previous frame of a sequence. The segmentation is based on the MAP framework that uses iterative method to obtain the solution. In addition, we develop a predictive scheme to predict the location of motion field discontinuities in the current frame, which further reduces the side information for the representation of segmentation.  相似文献

Purpose

To develop a post-processing, respiratory-motion correction algorithm for magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) of the liver and to determine the incidence and impact of respiratory motion in liver MRS.

Materials and Methods

One hundred thirty-two subjects (27 healthy, 31 with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and 74 HIV-infected with or without hepatitis C) were scanned with free breathing MRS at 1.5 T. Two spectral time series were acquired on an 8-ml single voxel using TR/TE=2500 ms/30 ms and (1) water suppression, 128 acquisitions, and (2) no water suppression, 8 acquisitions. Individual spectra were phased and frequency aligned to correct for intrahepatic motion. Next, water peaks more than 50% different from the median water peak area were identified and removed, and remaining spectra averaged to correct for presumed extrahepatic motion. Total CH2+CH3 lipids to unsuppressed water ratios were compared before and after corrections.

Results

Intrahepatic-motion correction increased the signal to noise ratio (S/N) in all cases (median=11-fold). Presumed extrahepatic motion was present in 41% (54/132) of the subjects. Its correction altered the lipids/water magnitude (magnitude change: median=2.6%, maximum=290%, and was >5% in 25% of these subjects). The incidence and effect of respiratory motion on lipids/water magnitude were similar among the three groups.

Conclusion

Respiratory-motion correction of free breathing liver MRS greatly increased the S/N and, in a significant number of subjects, changed the lipids/water ratios, relevant for monitoring subjects.  相似文献

Detecting moving objects from video frame sequences has a lot of useful applications in computer vision. This proposed method of moving object detection first estimates the bi-directional optical flow fields between (i) the current frame and the previous frame and between (ii) the current frame and the next frame. The bi-directional optical flow field is then subjected to normalization and enhancement. Each normalized and enhanced optical flow field is then divided into non-overlapping blocks. The moving objects are finally detected in the form of binary blobs by examining the histogram based thresholded values of such optical flow field of each block as well as the optical flow field of the candidate flow value. Our technique has been conceptualized, implemented and tested on real video data sets with complex background environment. The experimental results and quantitative evaluation establish that our technique achieves effective and efficient results than other existing methods.  相似文献

In this paper a physical interpretation is given of a method for the estimation of movements in television images. The method, already presented by the author in other papers, is based on a linear regression of the image derivatives, both spatial and temporal. It is shown that a centered finite differences approximation of the image differentials is mandatory to obtain good performances. Experimental results are issued to support theoretical conclusions.  相似文献

作为计算量最多的模块之一,运动补偿占用了解码器与片外数据存储器之间约70%的带宽,是实现超高清视频解码的瓶颈。通过所设计的基于Cache的HEVC运动补偿模块,在保证实时解码数据吞吐量的同时,有效减少了80%的带宽消耗。首先,利用由可复用滤波器构成的插值计算模块和2D Cache设计了可并行化流水线数据处理的运动补偿模块,满足计算过程中高数据吞吐量需求。其次,设计高效内部存储器RAM结构,并提出片内Cache功耗降低的有效解决方案。最后,利用了参考帧数据相关性,设计插值顺序重排,将Cache的硬件开销减少了87.5%。基于HM9.0的HEVC标准测试视频序列实验结构表明,该设计显著地减少了带宽消耗和硬件开销。  相似文献

提出了一种能量高效的运动估计结构.该结构基于GEA (Global Elimination Algorithm)算法,在并行GEA结构的基础上,对关键的绝对差和模块应用差错复原机制,以对抗在工艺参数波动和/或工作电压超比例缩小(VOS)时可能产生的逻辑级时序错误.采用一个亚采样电路ISR-SSAD,将VOS技术和算法级容噪设计集成到绝对差和模块中,实现了差错检测和纠正,与原GEA结构相比,具有更低的功耗.计算结果表明,整个运动估计模块的功率节省可达16%.  相似文献

This paper considers the optimal design of mechatronic systems with configuration-dependent dynamics. An optimal mechatronic design requires that, among the structural and control parameters, an optimal choice has to be made with respect to design specifications in the different domains. Two main challenges are treated in this paper: the non-convex nature of the optimization problem and the difficulty in modeling serial machines with flexible components and their embedded controllers. The optimization problem is treated using the direct design strategy which considers simultaneously structural and control parameters as variables and adopts non-convex optimization algorithms. Linear time-invariant and gain-scheduling PID controllers are addressed. This methodology is exploited for the multi-objective optimization of a pick-and-place assembly robot with a gripper carried by a variable-length flexible beam. The resulting design tradeoffs between system accuracy and control efforts demonstrate the advantage of an integrated design approach for mechatronic systems with configuration-dependent dynamics.  相似文献

Aiming at the higher bit-rate occupation of motion vector encoding and more time load of full-searching strategies,a multi-resolution motion estimation and compensation algorithm based on adjacent prediction of frame difference was proposed.Differential motion detection was employed to image sequences and proper threshold was adopted to identify the connected region.Then the motion region was extracted to carry out motion estimation and motion compensation on it.The experiment results show that the encoding efficiency of motion vector is promoted,the complexity of motion es timation is reduced and the quality of the reconstruction image at the same bit-rate as Multi-Reso lution Motion Estimation (MRME) is improved.  相似文献
